Rules
*The rats will be colored by myself and the staff, and the only way to adopt will be by participation.

*Use the format provided for the forms. (You may change colors and center it, but don't remove any questions)

*Do NOT complain if you do not get a rat, you may try again next batch.

*You may apply for multiple rats, but you can only win ONE. (With exception to contests)

*If you successfully adopt a rat, you must wait Two weeks before applying for another.

*You may not adopt more than 5 rats. (Anymore rats must be aquired through breeding or contests)

*If you do not claim your rat within One week, I will put it back up for adoption. (PM me if you are not going to be online)

Introduction

Hello!
Welcome to the Chitter Squeek Rattery!
Feel free to stick around, chat, spend time with the rats, apply for a ratlet of your own, and participate in any contests that may be running. We try to make this fun and enjoyable, while still keeping a competetive edge.
The forms were created so that the rats may find the best homes possible.
Don't feel bad if you didn't adopt a ratlet the first time around, you can keep applying!
If, for any reason, you feel you cannot take care of your rat, please give him/her back so a new home may be found.
Lastly, I hope everyone enjoys themselves!

Information
Most Chitter Squeek Rattery Rats will have an adolescent and adult stage. This means that there are only TWO stages, the one you get when you adopt and then the adult. There are two adult templates, one male and one female. If a rat is "sexless", it may be either template, but will be unable to reproduce. Ratlets all use the same template, reguardless of gender. Dwarf rats use the same template as Ratlets. Unlike ratlets, Dwarf rats are adults and are able to breed.
The Gender Symbols are as follows:
♀ - Female | ♂ - Male | ○ - Sexless
Ratlets, who have been adopted, may be "stunted" within the first week of adoption. This will keep them in their adolescent stage. "Stunted" ratlets are unable to breed. Breeding wont be available for a while, but will be implimented eventually.
Ratlets are one week old when they go up for adoption. Both their DoB and their Adoption date will be included with their information on their page.
One week after the adoptions are posted, I will pick the submission(s) that I feel deserve the ratlet(s).

When it comes to colors and markings things may seem a little strange.
Hopefully this clears things up.
All colors and markings that are natural are colors and markings you would find on Rodents.
All colors and markings that are exotic are colors and markings you would find on Mammels, Avians and some Aquatics.
All colors and markings that are unnatural are colors and markings that are made-up, or anything not mentioned above.

Staff List

* Staff must remain unbiased.
* Staff are allowed to apply for ralets, with the same restrictions as non-staff.
* Staff Artists may only make TWO customs for themself.(The second one takes up a rat slot)
* Staff Artists may not make a bunch of rats for their friends. Everyone gets an equal chance!
* Staff Artists may choose to make a runner-up ratlet.

Ask away!

When will my rat grow up?
Ratlets will grow up two weeks after they are released. Generally one week after apoption.

Can I edit my application form?
YES! =D
Edit and add as much as you want! You will have up until the end of the round to edit your post.

Is it possible to change which rat I am applying for?
Yes, just be sure to inform me.

May I apply for more than one rat?
Yes, you may apply for more than one rat. However, you can only "win" once.

Is it possible to change the name of my rat?
Yup, just send me a message letting me know you would like it changed.
However, I would prefer no more than one name change per rat.

If I adopt a rat, how long until I can adopt another?
If you have adopted a rat, you must wait Two weeks from the adoption date before you may apply for another.
But you can only adopt up to 5, NOT including rats acquired from breeding or contests.

Why does my rat's "Official Date of Birth" differ from the day the image was created?
When you buy an animal from a breeder or petstore, they are not newlyborn. So, because in the breeding section I decided that newlyborns stay with the parent for one week before being separated, the ratlets are one week old upon being released for adoption.

When does the round end?
It is stated in the "!Forms and Adoption!" post.

Are the winners picked the day the round ends?
We try to get the winners picked within 24hrs of the round closing.

Are we allowed to use editables as art in our forms?
Yes you may, unless it is a contest rat(contest rats, if they require art, are to be drawn by yourself. Some contests allow you to comission art. Please read the contest rules first). Be sure to follow the rules of the editable, and give credit to the original artist. I'd prefer it if you link back to the editable you colored(as colored in tends to lead back to its original). Hope that made sense.

How do I use the image?
-Right click on the image
-Click "view image info"
-Select the refering URL(this is the image's url)
-Right click and click copy
-In your post, click "IMG"
-Right click, between the img code, and click paste
-Look for "format=auto" change it to "format=png"
-Look for "size=large", it can be changed to "small", "medium", or "large"
