Why do you want to adopt?Prancer, hooves down, my favorite reindeer with Comet quite close behind. Of course, if that was the only reason I wanted this girl then I could just draw pictures of Santa's Prancer all day, couldn't I? What I really love about
this Prancer though, is the fine rack of lights on her antlers. I couldn't help but giggle a bit when I saw them and I knew instantly she was just going to be a fun little rat. I clicked on her and of course her quirk read that she liked taking Santa's lights, the silly girl. I thought it was really cute and it brought memories of the time my real pet rats stole the nail file from me (which I've yet to find, even after all this time).
Rat Name:♀Prancer♀
I think we all know who Prancer is, don't we?
Personality(Likes, dislikes, how they react to people, other rats, etc.):Prancer is a very chirpy rat. Her every step is taken with a spring and a skip, and she's always trotting around with her friends. Prancer hates being by herself, so you can expect to always find her talking with an elf or one of the other reindeer. She talks a mile a minute, often to herself, but after a while it's no longer fun to her when there's no one else around to listen. Luckily for Prancer, most are more than happy to talk to her, especially since she always seems up to date on the latest news. You'd be surprised how many in the North Pole like their gossip. Of course, Prancer doesn't spread anything
too bad. She may be a little mischief maker but she's no bully.
Mischief maker indeed, Prancer is always getting into some kind of trouble. She's a "What does this button do?" kind of girl, with a curiosity as large as the universe. She's also not exactly the wisest rat around. No matter how many times to tell her water and Christmas lights don't mix, Prancer will always say "But it could be different this time!". Once Prancer decides she's going to do something, there's really no changing her mind. She's lacing her water trough with Christmas lights and that's that. It'd probably be a good idea to keep a first aid kit on hand when she's nearby.
Quirks(Little things like "Enjoys sleeping on her back", "Loves hoarding candy wrappers", etc.):Prancer wrote:Oh oh, I want to answer this one! I don't know if you've noticed, but I love love looove Christmas lights! I started out with just a few, but my collection kept growing and growing until I had bunches of lights. The elves and reindeer joke that I have so many, they practically warm my stable. I don't know about that, but I do know my lights have a double purpose-- antler decorations! You'd think Christmas lights were made for antlers when you see how perfectly they fit. I like mixing up the colors a bit depending on the occasion, like white and gold or red and green. Most of the time though, I just wear lots of different colors. Seeing the blinking lights makes me feel safe and happy when we're out delivering toys. I only use lights that run on batteries though, because it's surprisingly hard to find an outlet in the middle of the sky.
I'm surprised you didn't mention how much you love to brag about your collection.
Prancer wrote:What? No, I don't brag! I like to discuss my collection. Totally different!
Sure. You also forget to mention how most of your lights were sneaked away from Santa, and your spare bulbs are from the houses of those you visit.
Prancer wrote:SHHHHHHHHHHHH, Santa doesn't need to hear that! And I'll have you know that I only take one bulb per house.
What do you plan on doing with your rat(Roleplay, Make art of, Hoard art of, etc.)?Prancer is far too cute not to want to get art of. I also have a reindeer character I could draw her with so she won't be too lonely in the North Pole.
If you feel you can no longer care for your Rat, will you return it here to find a new home?I don't think spirited Prancer would like it very much if she went untouched for an eternity and a half. If I'm not caring enough for Prancer, I'll certainly bring her back here for a second chance.
Art and/or Story(link to it if it's Oekaki):No one will miss these...First Light (Story and art about her first Christmas)
