Shadow Flitz (Singular; Shadow Flit) are a long bodies species that have long since lost their hind legs, tail, and eyes to the power of the shadow and have replaced them with mold-able wispy appendages. these large, friendly beasts have been recently tamed to be ridden by humans and anthros alike. They have large, wide front paws, long pointed ears, and short, smooth fur. They can be naturally found in dark caves, wetlands, or thick forests. however have also been spotted in pastures while hunting. They are carnivores- meaning they are only meant to eat meat and they often prey on birds, deer, rodents, and bats.

The thing with stargazing is you can manage to feel insignificant and infinite at the same time. It's.. odd. Nebula adores this feeling. There's something so awakening about starting at the night sky, and this flit has incorporated it into his nightly routine. This time is so important for Nebula, as it helps clear his head and reminds him how vast the world is. How far his dreams can go. The stars twinkle down on him lovingly, and he gazes back with bright eyes.

After some time spent with the stars and a scalding shower, Nebula does his skincare routine. I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous. However, it does take a ton of work to keep his fur looking snazzy. First he washes his face, slaps on some aloe to moisturize his skin and fur, and then puts on some cream which keeps his fur shiny. After this he combs his fur and blowdries it. Then and only then can this flit actually sleep, which requires some assistance as well. Nebula isn't one for sleep, but he manages to power through his insomnia. With a sleeping mask and white noise, he'll snuggle into his pile of pillows and blankets. Nebula's cat usually joins him, and they both fall asleep steadily, dreaming of the stars.

prompt response: Of a night, before this lad goes to bed, he takes a lukewarm bath, and just sits there, letting his anxiety and stress just melt away. He stays in there for a good half hour, and then he'll get ready by grabbing his star pillow, and turning on his music. He listens to sad classical music to make himself drift off, and it ends up shutting off after an hour, in case he wakes up or doesn't fall asleep right away. He also makes sure to open his window, so he can wake up cold, as it refreshes him. He specifically loves to listen to Clair De Lune when he goes to bed, as it's one of his favorite classical songs ever. Sometimes listening to the sad classical songs makes him upset, but generally he just gets sleepy and falls asleep to it.

Sol likes to start off his routine by taking the HOTTEST possible shower without scorching his flesh off. After that, he takes a nice C o l d bath to relax (about half the time he ends up sleeping, somehow-), and once he's all relaxed he gets out, dries off, and goes off to get a nice hot cocoa and some ice cream. After he's all finished, he crawls into bed and curls right up, calm and comfy, ready to sleep.

Aris's nighttime technique is a bit unusual to say the least - after all they don't exactly sleep at night. Nocturnal by choice, her day is just getting going by the time most are winding down. She wakes up and gets ready to start her night doing all the usual things - brushing her teeth, making breakfast (more often than not some sort of coffee and toast combo but every now and again she finds it in herself to make some of the best dang pancakes you've ever tasted) and then gets ready for work and heads to the observatory. The astronomer spends her nights glued to her telescope, mapping the stars and seeking out new ones! She's created thousands of star charts over the years and is known for adding beautiful art to her astrographs in her free time. Aris is perfectly happy to spend all day doing this and can be a bit of a workaholic. She truly loves what she does, but every now and again she does wrap up early and takes the rest of the night for herself. These nights wind down with her reading with a nice cup of tea in one of her favorite spots in a clearing under the stars.

Most times, Samir has to do this routine in order to
actually sleep well enough to function. They're a street artist
so it's important that they actually rest from time to time.
One of the best ways they wind down is to do Yoga after a,
particularly stressful day. The movements help their body
unwind and what was once coiled up with tension eventually
will loosen up. After that, he gets out the oils, lotions, and candles
and makes himself a bath. If he's feeling particularly interested,
he'll toss a bath bomb or two in there and lights a few candles.
When he's submerged in the water he just takes his time, washes himself and his hair.
And when he's done he'll get ready for bed with some relaxing tunes.
Possibly Lofi music as he likes the combination of beats and street noise.
He puts on his favorite lotion and moisturizer, grabs himself some PJs and his phone
and just chills until he falls asleep.
