• You are allowed to order 2 customs each month. Resets the 1st of each month. You may only order 1 custom at a time
  
• Payment must be sent before the custom is started, it will be accepted when the custom is posted
  
• If you allow an artist free choice to do your custom, you cannot complain about your result, they will not change the custom.

Rules

1. All Chickensmoothie rules apply, both on site and off-site.

2. Be kind and respectful to all staff and members. Please be patient when it comes to judging adopts, making nursery batches, etc, this is a (mostly) free community and real life takes priority. Users found to be consistently harassing people may receive a warning.


2a. Users must remain respectful when discussing age, race, ethnicity, nationality, culture, religion, mental health, gender identity, sexual orientation, or disability.

2b. If it has been longer than a month and you're owed work or a competition has gone unjudged, please dm myself (@Archaeopteryx) or my husband (@HarpyHarpy) and we'll get things sorted out for you.
3. All users that have been on CS for longer than three months and have at least 75 posts are entitled to one free founder. You are allowed and welcome to apply for adopts, customs, auctions, events, etc. even without a founder, and this offer does not expire until you receive your founder.

4. Personal storages may be hosted both on and off-site. If you wish to own multiple groups, please have them listed under a singular hub so we can better link to it on the archives.

5. Freely obtained EARTHRISE adopts are not permitted to be resold or traded outside of species. Users found to be doing so consistently will be permanently banned from EARTHRISE.

6. To encourage worldbuilding and character building, each player starts with a certain amount of slots (five), and may increase their slot number via leveling up. Players found to be over that limit have a grace period of one month to reach the appropriate level, after which the most recently acquired free adopts will be confiscated and readopted to the greater community. Players found to be dodging this limit via only acquiring paid for adopts may have access to customs and auctions removed. A longer grace period may be allowed due to extenuating circumstances.

xxxxUpon hire, staff are given 20 tidbits, plus five for every individual free aktego made. Artists and guest artists are also permitted to make themselves a single custom once a month, and unlimited nursery pairings, provided at least a single adopt, nursery batch, or founder is made within that time period.

Guest artists are given a temporary artist position for up to two months. Guest artists are not allowed to create auctions or sell customs, and are encouraged (but not required) to request help on aktego phenotypes, and may be requested to change designs if they don't meet EARTHRISE genotype guidelines. Full-time artists will be hired, on occasion, from previous guest artists.

xxxxFull-time staff are also allowed (and encouraged) to set up auctions and customs, and are permitted to create a custom aktego for themselves (or as a gift to others) with any mutation after three months of activity are completed.

xxxxWhile staff are not required or expected to be active every month, an extended absence and lack of communication may lead to being let go from the team.

• All creatures associated with creature cove are closed species; You may not make your own without permission.
• Trading, gifting, and selling designs for any currency is allowed. However, design flipping is frowned upon.
• Transferring designs out of the community/species is allowed only with artist permission.
• Transferring designs into the community/species will be handled on a case-to-case basis and will require the original artist's permission.
• Creatures will never be forcibly taken from their owners, but if a user is banned, they may not participate in the community in any way. This includes getting more through trading, gifting, etc. Bans are only given in extreme circumstances. Warning may be given if users break a rule, but there is no public strike list. Mistakes happen, and they won't be punished unless they're malicious.
• Harassment, begging, guilt-tripping, or other rude behavior will not be tolerated.
• AI art or writing is not allowed in any aspect of this adopt center.

Texas Cattle Horses come in many coats, some of which are specific to this breed. Different levels of rarity are used, and adopts with higher levels of rarity may only be ordered as imports, bred or rarely found as free adopts.

common: chestnut (ee __), bay (E_ A_), black (E_ aa), tobiano (To_), overo (Oo), flaxen (ff), splash (Spl_), grey (G_), varnish roan (Lp_)
uncommon: seal (E_ At_), wild bay (E_ A+_), silver (Z_), sooty (Sty_), cream (Cr_), pangare/mealy (pp), rabicano (Rb_), roan (Rn_), champagne (Ch_), dun (D_), blanket appaloosa (Lplp), snowcap appaloosa (LpLp), leopard/semi leopard appaloosa (Lplp PATN1__), fewspot appaloosa (LpLp PATN1__), birdcatcher spots (__ + bc spots), grease spots (__ + grs)
rare: pearl (prlprl), sabino (Sb_), somatic (__ + somatic), gulastra plume (__ + g plume), reverse dapples (__ + reverse dapples)
very rare/special occasions, imports & breedings only: chimerism (geno 1 / geno 2), manchado (mama), peacock appaloosa (Lplp)

Notes: pangare/mealy is not testable in real life yet. In TCH, it is a recessive gene that will only show as "pp" - Pp carriers may pass down the gene, but will not show it.
PATN2 is not a real gene, but it may be used at artist's discretion in TCH and shown as a "+ PATN2" annotation at the end of the genotype. It has a 50% chance of passing down in breedings.
KIT genes do not apply to TCH.
nd1/nd2 count as dun, and have the same rarity level, however it must stay rarer than regular dun.
Non genetic markings pass at 20%, except for somatic mutation which can be rolled for in all breedings and has a 3% chance of occuring.
Dominant white does not exist in TCH - it is replaced by Charolais white, see breed specific markings for more info.

Breed Specific Genes:

Jersey Chestnut
Dilution that only affects chestnut based coats. The points are paler than the base coat, similar to regular pangare. the knees and end of the tail are darker than the base coat, either dark brown or black. May cause dapples. Shows as JcJc or Jcjc.

Holstein Tobiano
Marking similar to regular tobiano. The back is always of the base color, and the belly and legs are always white. There are often base color spots inside the white markings. Show as HtoHto or Htohto.

Charolais White
Marking that causes the horse to be fully white, with pink skin. Different from the regular dominant white, as two of these can be bred together safely. Shows as ChwChw or Chwchw

Classic Speckled
Marking that looks just like the Speckle Park cow's markings. White topline and underline, and edges like a sabino or an appaloosa marking. If paired with Lp, the markings extend further on the shoulders and back on top of varnish roan. Shows as spsp - Spsp carriers do not show the pattern, but may pass the gene.

Hereford Splash
Marking similar to splash, makes the face and belly fully white. The inside and bottom of the legs may be white too, but it always stays minimal. Shows as HsplHspl or Hsplhspl.

Belted:
Marking similar to the Belted Galloway's. Thick white band on the barrel of the horse, that doesn't affect the legs like tobiano would. Shows as BgBg or Bgbg.

Rules

First and foremost, be nice to each other. This includes no harassment, no guilt tripping, and respecting everyone's boundaries. If you feel uncomfortable with something someone said or did, let me know!

Second, if you got a Gazst for free, you cannot sell them or trade them for something worth more, unless there is extra art on them.

Third, make sure to credit the artist of your Gazst if it is someone else, and Darkanra for the species and lines. If taken off-site, use the link to their CS account.

Fourth, keep in mind most traits are specific to one elemental type! If you mix them, you will have to undo your work and redesign them.

Fifth, if for some reason you want to leave the species, I would prefer the Gazst get rehomed. But, it is not a requirement. If you wish to keep them, let me know and I can void them from Gazsts.

You will get three strikes before you are banned.

More about the 'Once A Month Myo' thing;

As stated above, this is so not to spam Oekaki and keep it as a species and not just as an editable.

Of course, there will be a way to receive more myos in adopts. If an artist decides to do runner-up prizes, they may either make designs for those users or give them an extra myo that can be used at any time - regardless if you've already made one in the current month.

- Regarding marking a myo once a month, these do not stack up if you miss a month. As in, you can not do two myos in the same month if you missed the last (unless won through an adopt). Myos will always kick over to the first of next month, so you have the entire month to make one then.
