well, this is an odd name! i don't know why i really chose
this name, it has no realmeaning or backstory, but lately
i seem to be a sucker for object names! i was brain-
storming ideas and i though bear would be cute c:

when i first saw this puffball, i could only see it as a male!

so what's bear like?
on the outside, bear might be hard to approach, for
he doesn't smile all that often. sometimes he likes
to puff out his chest, almost making it seem like
he doesn't want company. very few come up to him
and chat for a while, which makes bear pretty sad
he's not depressed or anything, it just makes him a
little down.

bear is also an observer. he's constantly taking notes
in his head, his eyes darting from one place to another.
he has no idea when this started, but it's grown into a
habit now, constantly taking in the environment. due
to this, he practically has photographic memory, but
not quite. he'll take notes down in his head and remember
it, then remember certain buildings or monuments. when
he looks back on those notes, he'll remember the certain
building or monument, then try to imagine the rest of the
area. it's a rough process and takes some time, but bear
doesn't mind.

as you get to know bear more, you'll learn he's very
reliant. you can rely on him for practically anything.
you tell him a secret? he'll be sure to keep it safe, and
not tell another soul. you're having family issues and
you want to stay the night? he's on it, making up the
bed. bear is someone you can rely on, no matter what.
this is what really makes bear a valuable friend to have.

the more you know about bear, the better. bear's the
one to crack really horrible jokes at the most
unnecessary time. and when i say horrible, i mean
horrible. bear has an awful sense of humor, though he's
too afraid to say so himself. he's also the one to laugh at
basically any joke you throw at him, he's easily amused
despite the fact he doesn't smile much in public. his
horrible joke making will most likely make bear the
reliable, yet semi-annoying friend to have. at first
the jokes are easy to poke fun at, but when it's the same
jokes over and over, it almost makes you want to scream.

the one thing bear often hides from people is his fears.
he wants to be seen as someone to rely on, the big strong
and brave guy, though in reality he's what you'd like to
call a wimp. he's a total scaredy-cat. he's easily frightened
by things and can't seem to handle scary movies well.
ironically, his worst fear is heights. he can't stand even the
thought of it, it just makes him sick. although he's afraid of
heights, he's trying to overcome his fears by challenging
himself. his ultimate goal is to get pictures of him on top
of mount everest. he's tried it, and failed when he got to
base camp. he was barely even on the mountain! the poor
lad can't stand it.

bear is actually a photographer in training, and almost
always has his camera on him. he loves nature and wants
to always keep his memories fresh by taking pictures
wherever he goes. due to him travelling a lot, he often
times has scrapbooks full of pictures. as of now he has
over 20 scrapbooks filled to the brim with pictures.
