This is Bazil. Basil is a type of plant, I chose it because the plant is delicate, and so is Bazil herself. Her name used to be Basil, but from an early age she started spelling her name as 'Bazil' instead of 'Basil'. Then people started calling her Baz, and it eventually became her name.

I can't see this bean as a male, either. She is female through and through.

Due to her past, Bazil is easy to upset and it's not hard to break her heart. She's had it broken before, and she still can't get over it. She often sits by herself, all alone, trying to cover the tears falling down her cheeks. Baz's past never leaves her. She doesn't like talking about it, she'll only share it with others that she really trusts. Maybe, one day, her past would be forgotten and she would live a normal life.

What happened in her past, you ask? Well... Ever since she was a young girl, she's been in love with this guy. This 'guy' liked her back. After a year, he admitted his love for her and they started dating. Their relationship lasted for a long time. She spent all of her time with him, and they eventually got married/became mates. But, he got into an argument with another guy. They got into fights a lot, and they both hated each other. One day, Bazil's mate/husband and herself were sleeping in their house. Snuggled together, as usual. But what they didn't know was that Bazil's enemy was at the front door. He threw a flame torch onto the house, and it set fire. Bazil and her mate/husband woke up, and screamed for help. Nobody heard. The doors had burnt down, but there was a wooden pole blocking the way, which was on fire. "Go, Baz. Save yourself... I love you..." Were her mate's last words. She did just that, and when the fire was out, she searched for her mate. But all she found was his lifeless, burnt body.

As probably everyone else did [I hope, please don't let it just be me], as soon as I saw this lime green baby I shouted out kiwi. But, I don't really like kiwi as a name. So I quickly thought about what other fruits are green. And, being me, I thought of a gooseberry. Now I like gooseberries more than kiwis and I thought, well, why not. I like the design, but I need to like the name. so Gooseberry it is. Oh yeah, I also looked at the eyes. They're an amber-brown colour, so I think that could be the seeds in a gooseberry. I think.
However, although she doesn't really mind what you call her, she prefers is you call her Goose. She says it fits her personality well.
