Honestly, beef stew is a food that would speak to Elvira's soul. She's used to living alone and eating fast and light: a good stew would be the heartiest meal she'd have in moons, and its heat would force her to slow down and savor it. Plus, stew is usually made in large batches, meaning she would likely be eating with others. While it would put Elvira on edge at first, the warm scent and heavy meal would soon lower her guard. Maybe it's a cheap meal, maybe it's not as extravagant as other dishes or full of complex flavors, but Elvira's never been fond of overly complicated things. A good stew would fix a lot in her life right about now.
