So yelling at them didn't work, maybe rambling would. Well actually she wasn't sure, but Wolf had to try something, and standing around wasn't going to do anything for anyone. "Hi there... Carrot, or whatever your name is. My name is... ech... I mean my name is wolf." She sighed. "I come from a land where there are no carrots like you so I'm very intrigued by you. You see. I live in a parallel dimension from this one, and have travelled here to get away from it since it was so... scary to be honest." She then mumbled under her breath. "Definitely cause I didn't kill someone, went to jail, then ran away."

Nyra paced about the grounds, trying to find another carrot. The number of carrots had seemingly dwindled, which was both a good and bad thing. Nyra was enjoying the eventful day, but also relieved that the situation was calming down. Then, a soft crunch of leaves caught her attention, and she peered over her shoulder, looking at the bright orange carrot.

"Hi! Want to know a secret about me?" Nyra asked, leaning down to the carrots gaze. The carrot didn't answer, but Nyra pushed on anyway. "You see how one of my eyes has a sun, and the other a moon? Well, regardless of the time of day, my moon eye is actually stuck in night vision. I have to cover that eye during the day to see easily."

A look of confusion clouded Beetle Kit's face, while it seemed everyone else understood. She watched as a young tom sprinted toward a carrot, then suddenly stopped and whispered something to it. Another warrior stood over a purple carrot, yelling about dragons? Beetle Kit's head spun, swimming with questions.

After many of the warriors had cleared, Beetle Kit remained in the clearing. A faint scuttling noise caught the edge of her attention, dragging her toward the forest brush. She carefully scanned the treeline and caught it- a small flicker of orange scuttling along the ground. Instantaneously she bolted for it, certain she could at least help with one carrot. "Hey you! Come back!" She managed to pin it down, leaning in to quietly add," I'm scared of the dark."

prompt: Skidding to a stop, Blazing Sunbeam finds herself in a chaotic mess of carrots; she’s no hunter, but she’ll have to find a way… mimicking the tactics she’s seen used by her settlementmates, she crouches, stalking a carrot to the edge of the turf. She digs in to pounce, before the carrot turns around in a panic, running into her and knocking her off balance.

“Hey, hey- nonono, don’t go!!!”

She slams her paw down in front of it before it can flee, an empathetic look in her eyes. The colorpoint molly speaks through bobbing and weaving, cornering the orange vegetable against a tree stump.

“Calm down, please! I-I’ll- I’ll tell you what, why don’t you just chill out so we can chat for a bit, hm?? You seem like a very- very nice carrot-!”
