The deputy and I soon found ourselves in the starry world of our new home. We made eye contact, guilt filling our beings, knowing what we had left behind after falling into the traps of the Dark Forest cats. Our families, friends, and all our clanmates. “We’ll be okay.” The deputy reassured me, “We can still help our friends from up here. We’ve made a terrible mistake… but at least now we can warn them of what may be to come. I fear a battle may be coming. But we are armed with knowledge, we can inform the other StarClan cats. And, you can chase all the starry butterflies you want here without being scolded.” The two cats laughed, still sad, but strong. The Dark Forest cats hadn’t taken their strength just yet.
