Red is very respectful, only taking a small bit of the candy for himself before sitting at the table and spending the rest of the day working on small drawings and little cards to send back to his family that decided to stay home during the festivities. He tells them all about his adventures and the little tasks he's been on, of course mentioning the florges that he keeps encountering every now and again in order to get ingredients. He explains his dream pie, and elaborates a bit on his worries about not being able to find the best ingredients. He feels very confident with the ingredients he has so far, but there's still two more to get, and he hasn't felt called to any of them! He wants the pie to be good, if not for himself, than for the pokemon he wants to share the pie with...

Prompt:

Basilisk takes three pieces of candy corn and both are eaten within an instant. He doesn't dare take anymore, he's not very big so the few pieces were plenty for him, and besides, he wants to leave enough for anyone else to enjoy themselves.

Bass hasn't done much exploring after seeking out the Marshtomp Glove, so on this rest day he spends his time checking out all the other ingredients that all the participating Pokemon have gathered, and taking a look at the pies that are being baked today. Stunned by all the effort others have been putting in, he feels a bit lackluster with nothing but his gathered fungus. Determined and inspired by their hard work, Bass vows to kick it into top gear!

But not before jotting down some good ideas from others and eating a little more candy. [141 words]

The ghost type had entered the cabin only to be surprised by the lack of Auntie in the kitchen, the small piece of paper had caught his eyes and after giving it a quick once over he yawned sleepily. Siren decided to spear a few pieces of candy corn on his claws and then head back home. The candy corn was consumed steadily piece by piece during the journey back home, the ghostly Zoruark steadily becoming sleepier as he moved. Reaching home was a blessing, he hadn't quite realized how hard the past few days had been until today.

He'd never been happier to go and curl up on his bed for a good long snooze

Skittle's eyes gleamed as she took in the note from Auntie, and then the bowl of candy. She stands up on tiptoe to reach the bowl, snagging as many pieces as she can fit in one paw- which, from experience, usually ends up being a pretty appropriate serving size for her. It's not that she doesn't have a sweet tooth, but there's only so much of one type of candy- especially something as sugary as candy corn- that she can handle. One pawful will be more than enough for her. Skittle smiled and popped the first piece into her mouth, reminding herself to thank Auntie profusely when she sees her next. For now, she'll make her way back to the guild, maybe give a little candy to her brother if he spots her, and take a nice long nap. All the errands she's been running to collect ingredients have been fun, but it's also been a lot of walking for someone so small. She could use a nice rest to recover.

"Okay, Let's go see what Auntie has today, Okay Uno?" Fruity said, smiling at her son. Uno grinned. "Let's go!!!" He bounced off down the path to Auntie's cabin. Uno bust in the door only to find a bowl of candy and a note. "Oh... She's taking a nap..." He hummed, turning to his mother who was just coming in the door.
"It's nice of her to leave some candy out... Let's just take a little and leave the rest for others okay?" Fruity smiled.
"Okay!!" Uno smiled, taking a bit of candy for both him and his mother.
"Let's go back to our inn and just have a nice relaxing day, how does that sound?" Fruity smiled as Uno started to bounce out the door.
As soon as Uno got out the door, a gray poochyena ran into him. "Give me your candy!!" He growled, as Uno fluffed up. "...But but... we just got this candy.... Why can't you get your own?" Uno huffed.
"Auntie banned me from her house! Now give me it!!" Farkas growled, grabbing the bag that was around Uno and tearing it open. He wildly began to eat the candycorn that fell out of it.
Fruity came out of the house and hissed at the poochyena. "Get away from my son!" She hissed.
Farkas growled. "I just wanted the candy!!" He barked, racing away with the candycorn in his mouth.
Uno sniffled. "Momma...." he started to tear up.
Fruity rubbed up against him and licked his head. "It's okay, Let's get a bit more... Auntie will understand." She smiled softly, as they went back into the house for more candycorn. "Let's go back to our inn okay? I'm sorry that poochyena was so mean..."
Uno gently nodded. "Okay momma...."

Terra, Port, and Ezra peered down at the bowl, each contemplating how much to take. Port merely turned away, insisting that the group had enough Candy Corn and there was no need to take more than they already had. Terra begrudgingly agreed and turned away as well, asking what the group should do for the day. Ezra, on the other hand, shrugged and took a few for herself-- not too many but maybe a handful. She popped one into her mouth and spat it out, deciding quickly that Candy Corn wasn't her favorite.

Once the group had moved a pretty good distance from the house, Ezra spoke up,"Why don't we all go explore the festivities on our own? I heard there was a Haunted Trail or something in the forest that I've been wanting to check out." The other two agreed and Ezra skirted away from the group toward the Lost Woods-- hopefully there were signs along the way.

Port and Terra stuck together, for the most part. Terra spent her time pokemon watching, seeing all the visitors for the fesitval, and Port kept an eye out for any types of Pokemon he could identify as from his world. They sat at an alcremie stand-- woulda been nice to know this was here when getting the cream for their pie-- and slurped on some milkshake-esc drinks.

(584 Words! I'm sorry that they broke Auntie's candy bowl I promise)

Given that all five participants that had chosen to band together in the name of pie were from different walks of life, it was actually a bit odd seeing them gather in the same room-- the dining room, that is. Most of them knew each other…but some were NOT in the good way. This was certainly showcased by Bob holding the entire bowl just out of everyone’s reach with telepathy, staring at the four gathered. His mouth never once moved, but instead his words projected into the minds of those present.

“There has to be some semblance of order here-- line up and I shall distribute the wealth of sweets.”
“I wouldn’t let you do that even if you were the last person on the plane-- ZAYNE!!” Sparrow’s protest was immediately ruined by Zayne lining up after the drippy cream cat Kana. Lancelot furrowed his brow. He wasn’t really big on sweets, but he was taught to be polite and take things offered to him even if that wasn’t the case.

Kana didn’t really understand why Sparrow and Zayne seemed so upset about Bob. Though at the same time, she wished that she could have all the candy to herself. Bob lowered the bowl down to the Alckrrity, watching her curiously. Xe was the least familiar with this cat out of anyone else in xer current presence. That was clear because had he known better, he would have forseen what happened next:

Kana, in her power as a klutz, would reach a paw into the bowl…and suddenly slip up as a result of not having all four paws on the ground, smacking the bowl hard and sending all of the candy corn flying EVERYWHERE in the dining room. There was a good moment of silence as basically everyone processed this. It was bad enough that there was creme everywhere, but now there was candy corn and a broken bowl too??

Kana smiled nervously, mumbling a few apologies before fleeing out the door. She was more than a bit embarrassed about this. Bob grumbled, slowly picking up the bits of the broken bowl. He didn’t ‘say’ a thing to the others, simply hopping up in a chair and beginning the slow task of putting it together again using his telepathy and a bit of heat from his Mystical Fire.

Sparrow sighed heavily. “So much for a break…Zayne. Go see if you can find a mop. Your Majesty…if you’re done gawking, see about going into town and getting some flowers so we can apologize to our humble host about making a mess of her gift.”

Zayne rolled his eye, but he’d head into the kitchen to retrieve some cleaning supplies. Lancelot bounded out the door, on his way back to the florist-- unaware the two had been there days prior.

Now that the two were alone for a few moments though, Sparrow found himself speaking up while he picked up each candy carefully.

“What exactly is your play here, Bob? I don’t see your so-called king anywhere…”
“It is the same as your’s, little bird. A simple pie.”
“I don’t trust whatever it is you’re up to…”
“Is it not enough to simply desire sweets for the sake of sweets?”

Sparrow sighed, watching the Espeon x Unown hybrid continue to put the bowl back together as he’d dump a few pieces of candy corn onto the table.
“I have my eye on you, cat.”
“Simply see to it that we get more ingredients tomorrow, would you?”

Naturally, Klee hoarded all the candy and plans to eat it himself! However, he does keep a few in his bag to whip out to any other pokemon who expresses a taste in yummy treats! He loves being someone who always has a treat in his bag, but funnily enough, he often forgets he even has treats in the first place! And so the cycle continues, his bag filling up more and more with candies he just can't get rid of fast enough!

Prompt(s): Candy corn is terrific! Bav thinks it's a job well done and keeps some for himself.

As thanks for the help he has received so far, he traveled around the region to give candy corn to the pokemon that provided directions. He tried to go to the swamp to find the trevenant, but it's too difficult to find them in an entire swamp. However, it was a lot easier to find the Florges and their family in the meadow with the golden powder. He didn't dare step on their meadow again so he just threw it at them from afar. Hopefully, they aren't too angry for him missing the target! Lastly, the Cramarant wasn't able to get the bells on his collar, but he is sure that they will enjoy the candy corn instead. He made sure hide his bells and toss the bag of candy corn towards the Cramarant, who ate the bag whole.
