Day 1Day: 3
Choice of Ingredient(s):
Color - Sattreon/
Charm - Gracidea FlowerPrompt(s):
Kara, Mark, and Eric decided the first ingredient they would gather was Sattreon. The trio set off to find the garden Auntie Appletun mentioned, and after a short journey, they found a beautiful garden that they figured must be the garden she was talking about. All three were very careful not to step on any of the flowers as they looked around for the Florges who created it. Of course, they would have been careful about that regardless, but they definitely took Auntie Appletun's warning into account. After a few minutes of searching- and admiring the flowers- the trio found a Florges tending to some flowers.
"Hello," Mark spoke up, gaining the Florges' attention.
"Well hello, what brings you to my garden?" asked the Florges.
"We're looking for some Sattreon," Eric explained.
"Ah, I see. Well, you're in luck, I happen to have several flowers growing right now that can provide what you're seeking. But first, what do you think of the garden so far?"
The trio complimented the garden as they followed the Florges along a path through it, and eventually the group reached a small collection of blue flowers.
"Here we are," the Florges explained, before gently gathering the Sattreon from a few of the flowers with what the trio could tell was extreme care. "Will this be enough?"
"Yes, thank you very much!" Kara replied with a smile.
"You're quite welcome, now do be careful as you're leaving, these flowers are very important to me," the Florges said.
"We will!" the trio chorused before waving goodbye and heading back the way they came, watching their steps carefully. Soon, they returned to Auntie Appletun's house with the Sattreon.

Considering Kara, Mark, and Eric had been planning on sharing the finished pie with their trainers in the first place, gathering Gracidea Flowers seemed like the perfect choice. The trio did want to show their gratitude to their trainers for taking such good care of them all the time after all! Now the only challenge was finding the flowers. Since Auntie Appletun had suggested doing some good deeds around town, they decided to start with that.
Shortly after entering town, the trio came across two kids whose kite had gotten stuck in a tree. Neither was tall enough to reach it to try to get it down, and both seemed quite upset. Mark used Aqua Jet to dislodge the kite from the branches it was stuck on, and the kids cheered as their kite floated slowly back to the ground. "Thanks!" the kids shouted as they rushed over to retrieve the kite when it landed, and the trio continued on.
As they passed by a small lake, they overheard a young girl telling her mom she wanted to go ice skating. Though the girl's mom explained that it wasn't quite cold enough for the lake to freeze over yet, Eric had an idea and used Ice Beam, freezing the lake. Then he used Icy Wind to make sure the area was cold enough for the lake to stay frozen for a while. The girl squealed happily, while her mom shook her head in amusement.
The trio still had not found the flowers they were seeking, though. Then, Kara remembered that Auntie Appletun had also mentioned there was a florist in the town, so the group continued looking until they found a flower shop. Heading inside, they found the florist arranging some flowers.
"Oh, hello! I'm almost finished here, I just need to figure out what the last flower a customer wanted in their flower arrangement is..." the florist explained, looking at a piece of paper on which what was presumably an order for a flower arrangement had been written down. Seeing the trio looking at them curiously, the florist continued, "You see, they didn't know the name of it, they just gave a very vague description of what they wanted, and I have a few different flowers that could fit... They'll be coming by later today to pick it up, and I suppose I could just show them the different flowers I have, but..."
Kara approached the counter before jumping up onto it, careful not to disturb anything, and looked over the description on the paper. She thought carefully for a bit, before looking around the shop at all the different flowers that were available. Finally, she jumped off the counter again and walked over to a group of pretty yellow flowers.
"You think they want this type? Hmm... You know, that could very well be right. It definitely fits the description they gave, and I suppose these are more well known than the other flowers I was considering... Thank you for your help." the florist said with a smile, taking one of the flowers and adding it to the arrangement. "There! I'm sure they'll like it. Now then, what are you three looking for?"
Kara headed over to another group of flowers, the Gracidea Flowers. "Gracidea Flowers, hmm? Well, I'm certainly very grateful for your help, so why don't you have a few on the house?" The trio thanked the florist happily, then headed back to Auntie Appletun's house with the flowers. Surely these would make a perfect addition to their pie!
