Blurb: Greyleg slinked out into the forest, confident about being able to find herbs and the like, maybe even prey. As Greyleg went further in, she started stopping to marvel about things she saw on her small journey, and stumbling on multiple roots & rocks, as she tried to keep what she gathered with her.
At least thats mostly how it went, until she saw the fisher cat. They stared at each other for what felt like 10 moons. The fisher cat spat at Greyleg, and then ran up a tree, daring her to come up it and fight. Instead she turned tail and ran, tripping right before she got to the camp clearing

Blurb: ☆ DAY 1! HIKING!

Fishing? Accomplished, a job well done, if I say so myself! I can't wait to try it again! And yet, the fun isn't over. No, it's hardly beginning! The next thing we're tasked with is collecting resources. Now this is something I shouldn't have problems with, unlike my untimely fishing incident. After all, there are plenty of cats in Khafra that gather resources, myself included! Occasionally, anyway, I'm mostly out hunting...unless that counts. Does it? I'm not sure…I think it does! I think...

Anyway, it's time to go collect resources! Let's see...whatever I can find out here. Hopefully, I'll be able to find something, there's so much stuff in the way! How does anyone live out here? There's so much grass and trees and...everything but sand! Surely, they'd go crazy trying to find anything out here...hopefully not, cause if so, that means I'm in trouble. Good thing I have tons of patience! (She says, as if she hadn't jumped into a lake earlier that day, hardly waiting a moment after reaching the shoreline.)

And so, the caliby hurried off into the forest. It was an odd place, really. The trees towered above her spotted figure, casting shadows upon the land below, allowing light to only filter through in some places. Thus, the realm before her was often cast in shadow in particular places, mainly where plenty of trees crowded amongst one another. It wasn't too dark though, thanks to the time of day it was. And quite frankly, compared to the night, it was a tad too bright; honestly.

There were far too many things she had to do today, so she couldn't let a bit of light stop her. Maplewish delved deeper into the depths of the woodland, her blue optics flickering about the terrain and settling upon nothing for longer than a moment. She'd chase after butterflies and the stray rabbit or two, however, never having seen either of the two beforehand. Actually, she'd seen rabbits before...rarely, but she had, she was sure. As the latest one darted away from her, she seemed to come to her senses and return to her task. The others would return to camp soon, undoubtedly, so she ought not to be late.

Heartpurr's fur sticks to her neck, slick with sweat. The trail had been winding and mostly flat, but this large hill climb is taking it's toll. She's fit of course, due to her warrior training, but the young warrior still feels the exhaustion tugging at her core. Each step feels like a weight crushing down against the ground. The peak is so close! She can feel it!

A final push brings her to the summit and she breathes in the cool celebratory breeze in relief and pride. A purr rumbles in her chest as she gazes at the sunset casting it's final rays for the day across the sky. This certainly was worth it!

bouncing on her paws in excitement, meadowshine nearly bounds off into the woods the moment it's announced they're allowed to. she nearly trips over countless roots and vines that cross her path, but manages to catch her balance right at the last minute each time. still, she remains unphased and finds herself intrigued by each little sound and sight she comes across in this new territory.

Fennel and Furzetuft, proudly eyeing each camper, finally decided everyone had gathered enough. "Let's head back now everyone!", Fennel called and nudged a tired apprentice to their paws. "When we get back I heard Snow found something fun for us to do!"

Upon arriving back at camp, Furzetuft set up a small area for warriors to turn in their spoils from the trip. She carefully inspected each piece of prey and sorted sticks by dryness, a warm purr echoing in her chest as she did so.

Furzetuft carefully began moving the piles, nudging Hana to assist with announcing the results. The housepet lifted her head, eyes sparkling,"Everyone did so well! I was so worried about getting fleas I didn't join but.. maybe on the next trip!" Furzetuft rolled her eyes playfully and nudged the kittypet once more. "Oh! Team points yes!!" She cleared her throat,"Fennel has reported the rewards from fishing already, so I'll make sure to add those to the count too.. just one.. moment" She started carefully counting her toes," Cabin Swiss has 3 more so.. that's 3.. 4.. 7! 7 points for Swiss!" After a few moments she composed herself to announce the rest of the cabins points," Ricotta has 5 points, and Brie has 11 points!" She beamed, proud of her math skills.
( Team Swiss earned 3 points, while Brie earned 7 from hiking!
