prompt: Bugsy is a very beloved friend, so naturally they are always invited to any outdoor event. They've been approached by curious bees of all sorts before, from mason bees to honeybees, but Bugsy's favorites are the big, fuzzy bumblebees that seem to bump into everything, much like them! They find them amusing to watch and know that they play such an important role in the world around them, so it's not uncommon to see Bugsy with some sugar water to refresh any fallen or exhausted bees, and they always catch and release any that wander into their friends' houses or vehicles. Bugsy also has a garden now just for the bees to come visit, they like to sit quietly and have tea or lemonade while watching their bumbling friends bonk into each other and the flowers, and sometimes Bugsy will guide them to flowers if they look like they're having too much trouble. They have a gentle yet always busy personality, something they have in common, and they both share a love of sweet smelling flowers. So Bugsy thinks bees are very neat and wants them all to know that they are their friend and ally! Despite being stung before, back when they didn't know to leave them alone, Bugsy still has lots of respect for bees and has learned to tread much more carefully around them, they like to remind their friends to be careful where they step and watch where they sit as they don't want to see either party get hurt. They have also made posters advocating for the safety of bees and how to encourage bees to visit your gardens so their populations can stay at a safe level.

honestly, winnie didn't like bees at first. insects scared her - they had way too many eyes and some were just too big for her to handle. but, when their flowers started dying, they soon realized the importance of the little guys. winnie had searched all of her planting books and when she found the answer of 'not enough pollen' she had a revelation.

winnie went deep into her books, reading chapter after chapter about bees and how important they are. she learned how they build their homes, make honey (which she didn't know was a thing!) and pollinate literally everything. she immediately went out and got rid of all of the things that would harm insects. within a week, her flowers were better than ever and she could swear that a little hive was being built in her childhood tree.
