For a long while it had just been her and her brother against the world, the two were attached at the hip and when one was found you can bet the other wasn’t too far behind. The two originally lived in a city and her brother found what they assumed to be some kind of kittypet collar but what caught both of their attention was the odd shiny rock that dangled from it. Her brother kept it and found a way to put it on himself. The two eventually found their way to the tribe but her brother was attacked by a hawk and while he managed to fend it off, he passed on due to the severity of his injuries but not before he gave the necklace to her “To remember me by” was his reasoning for giving it to her.
