Prompt: I hate and hated my name since I was a kit. I always thought that cats would know what l look like from the second they heard my name. When I was about two moons old I asked my mom if I could change my name to FluffyKit instead of patchyKit. Of course she told me I can’t but I called myself frostKit until I was a apprentice. By then even though other cats called me patchypaw I thought of myself as FrostPaw. My mentor understood I did not want to be named PatchyPaw so she called me FrostPaw. I was great at hunting but I never trusted StarClan so I was always told to thank StarClan but alway responded with “thank them for what.” After many moons of training I got my warrior name PatchyFur and knew there was no going around it and being called frostFur instead. Soon after there was a war with a bordering clan and I was told to stay behind because if they needed help StarClan would tell them to come. I did not listen so I ran out behind them and tried to help out but the battle field was horrifying so I ran back. All I remember now is that after words I became deputy.

Snailtail was born into a group of cats. As a young kit, he played often with the other kits, but often the older cats would scorn him. He didn't know why though. He was always confused as to what he did wrong. He was given a very hard time as an apprentice, he would work from dawn to dusk every day. He pushed himself to the limit everyday, but no one but his mother seemed grateful of him. He became a warrior fairly late. He was 15 moons old when he got his adult name. However, no one seemed too giddy about his promotion. He was given the outermost nest. One night, he woke up a weird smell. He yawned, stretched and when he opened his eyes, all he saw was fire. He dashed out of the camp, singeing some fur on his pelt. He heard someone meow for help. It sounded familiar. He ran back into camp where he heard the mew come from, to see his mother lying in the medicine den. Her sides sunk into her as she breathed. She weakly beckoned for Snailtail to go.
"I cant! I have to save you, come on please, just-"
She mustered her strength and covered his mouth with her tail. "Hush. I must tell you something."
He froze, waiting for what she had to say.
"The reason why everyone treated you badly was because..." she coughed. Blood was sputtering from her mouth. "Because ... your father... hates... us.. Im sorry." She collapsed. "Run, son. For me."
Snailtail stood still for a second with a bewildered look on his face. He ran. He ran and didn't look back.

Snailtail had been living on his own for a while. He wanted to leave his past behind him.
He was just wandering by himself, wanting to find a new place. A place that accepted him, no matter who or where he came from.
All of a sudden, he heard the bushes behind him shudder. He turned back to see A light brown she-cat staring him down.
"What are you doing on Thistleclan territory?"
He tilted his head to the right. "Thistleclan? Whats a Thistleclan?"
"Thistleclan is where me and my clan lives. I'm Sorrelstar. We own the land here. I hope you haven't been hunting here..?"
Snailtail gulped. "M-maybe..?"
The she-cat scoffed. "Whatever. You're a scrawny thing anyways. Why don't you come with me? My clan is very welcoming to newcomers! At least some of us are."
Snailtail being a curious cat, spoke confidently. "Sure! I've been on my own for a while. I used to live with my family but then there was a fire that destroyed our camp and killed my mother."
Sorrelstar widened her eyes, and they filled with empathy. "I'm so sorry to hear that."
Snail tail shrugged. "Its okay, it was a while ago. Why don't we get going? I hope I can make some new and better friends!"
