Word Count: 517
Prompt: Lydia blinked surprised by the change in question, "I guess that is kind of a what if huh?" She asked before she shrugged softly. "I guess if there is no real consequences for that huh? Mhmm if I could move anywhere in the world it would probably be a nice barn in Italy on a nice vineyard or something. I could live in peace and quiet." she said before she looked towards the fields gently. "I am not sure I'd want to have all my friends near by. I guess I would let my father visit of course." Lydia said gently, "However, I am not sure I'd want Magpie near by. She is nice and all and a friend of mine but I'd be to afraid of her running off." She said. "And by that I mean running off with my riches, if I had any. Though I am really good at saving my money." She said softly. "This being hypothetical and saying I had that much money I could certainly see Magpie running off with it all." She said and sighed softly before she shook her head. "Marshmellow and Venus would be welcome too I suppose." She said gently. "I wish I had a significant other, but i don't." She said. "I mean I met a nice guy once but only once." She said, "He wasn't my type though." She said, "What do you mean I talk about Magpie a lot?" She asked flustered as she blushed deeply.

"No no no! I wouldn't have magpie as my significant other! Absolutely not!" She huffed before she shook her head and looked away blushing furiously as she did, she shook her head once more letting out a breath, "What would it look like?" She asked, "I guess like any normal barn." She said, "You know a nice bed a room of my own, small enough for me and maybe a few guests here and there." She said. "But other then that pretty normal. I have always been a fan of the deep red with white and a black roof." She said. "I would decorate it with beautiful flower designs and patterns." She said, "Before I would then build myself a lovely garden." She said, "Maybe I would have a nice pond I could go swimming in." She said, "Maybe I will grow grapes and make wine." She said, "Who knows." She said. "That's just how I see it ending up I guess." She said, "Of course I would also love to have perhaps a pet or two." She said, "I haven't decided what yet but I am a fan of chickens like my dad's or maybe goats because they are actually really cute." She said gently. "So there you have it." Lydia said, "That is my idea of where I would live if I had all the money I could ever want." She said, "I suppose maybe at that point I would get myself some golden shoes too." She teased, "And a bell." She said. "But I mean that is just a what if after all." She said.

Buttermilk: Takara
Word Count: 139
Prompt: Unlimited funds - that's one dream Takara had never dared to tempt. She so rarely thought beyond her own means, trying to stay realistic instead of chasing a flyaway fantasy, like the calves. "I need nothing big or fancy," she started, "I don't think I'd be very comfortable there, and it's not like I'd spend much time holed up there, anyway. Something small, cozy; maybe a log cabin, built in the woods not far from home - that'd suffice for me. As long as there would be enough space for little mementos of my journeys, as well as a place for my adventuring tools and gear, I'd be fine with it. A garden would be nice, but I know nothing of caring for plants, and it'd probably be dead before I learned how to manage it."

Day 3

“I’d like to help harvest some more!”
    Username: ceance
    Buttermilk: Wulfe
    Word Count: 690
Prompt: While Wulfe was never big on social events or being in heavily populated places, he would definitely want to live around a city. Alas, he wouldn't dare want to force his husband to leave behind the precious forest, especially with Wulfe having the ability to afford anywhere and everywhere for them to live, so most of his choice would be based around what Morgan wanted. Even if Morgan wouldn't voice his desires because he wasn't used to it, Wulfe would still dictate all of his choices on the premises of pleasing his husband and making sure that he felt safe and stable wherever they lived.

Wulfe would probably choose a large house that was closer to the outskirts of the city. It would probably have multiple rooms and an upstairs, along with a loft room, just so that Wulfe's desire to be able to distance himself if necessary still was an option. He would make sure that each room had the ability to have sufficient sunlight within them, whether it be through windows or artificial lighting, he would provide it. As long as Morgan's precious plants could get the healthy dosage of light that they needed, he would be pleased. Plus, probably to the surprise of Morgan, he would make sure that the house had an inside atrium.

The atrium would have some sort of netting over the top to prevent flies from getting in and annoying the heck out of Wulfe, otherwise it would be natural. There would be real, plush grass growing at the bottom and a flowing source of water, along with spider plants and a young sapling planted in the middle. Once again, this would be for the love of his husband and Wulfe would probably even invest in some lawn chairs to sit in front of the atrium. While he might not have any interest in the natural world like Morgan, he would still sit with Morgan in front of the atrium every morning, sipping on his coffee while him and his husband listened to the sounds of the world above and outside their house.

Contrary to popular belief, Wulfe does have a soft soul under his hard outer coating. He might snarl and bare his fangs at anyone outside of his close friend group that gets too far onto his nerves, but he has his reserved side for special occasions. One such occasion would be calmly leading a blindfolded Morgan up stone steps, a rare small smile playing across his lips while Morgan begged to be told of what his surprise was. Once such occasion would be gently pulling his boyfriend's blindfold up, introducing the new house to him and showing him just what he had been planning hard for the past month, where he had been putting his savings towards.

One such occasion would be pulling out a bouquet of wilting blooms that, even though he worked hard on raising, still ended up being on the brink of death. Alas, regardless of the occasion, he would always show his soft and vulnerable side around Morgan as long as Morgan would continue walking the sweet and cruel planet with him. Every vulnerable spot was worth watching his boyfriend's face contort into numerous expressions before settling on one where he would cover his hands with his mouth and let delicate tears prick at the corners of his beautiful, captivating eyes.

"I know I went behind your back to do this but, I have one last thing behind my back."
Morgan seemed to already know what was coming.
"I haven't necessarily felt like this before with anyone,"
He shifted his weight to one leg.
"And I know we've been together for awhile,"
And moved down towards the ground on his left knee.
"I never felt a religion before I met you, and it's like I've been hit with the holy trilogy itself."
Wulfe placed the flowers down near his foot, watching the tears already start dripping down Morgan's face.

"Morgan Kiss, would you please allow me to have the honor of marrying you?"

Thankfully, now Wulfe could have his atrium mornings with his husband by his side.

Elizabeth's Crop Collection - Open, Day 3!

“i’d like to help harvest some more!”

word count: 503
prompt: if buona could live anywhere in the world, she'd stay put. no amount of money could make her feel more at home or at peace than she already does at snowdrift vale. she loves the way the sun reflects off the snow and makes everything white; the way that the pine trees covered in snow look like christmas trees; the wildlife that surrounds every open space and is always busy: the bright stars that shine so much clearer than they do any other place in the world; the northern lights that seem to sing songs and paint images all across the sky; the soft pets from her human and the bond between them. here in her home, the night cow felt the most content. the night cow didn't want unlimited funds (she felt being rich took away from the joys in life) or to move away from the memories she had made here. the rows and rows of apiaries for the fresh honey they produced, the blackberry current that was raved about by all of their customers, the bakery where all of their fresh produce was produced that always left a sweet scent in the air, the barn that had been specifically built for her by her tiny human, the 14 green houses, and the acres and acres of paddocks for the flocks of sheep that resided in snowdrift vale. everything here was perfect and had a purpose, none of which that she'd change. the way of life out here was certainly slower, but busy all the same, and instead of being focused on the trivial things in life, there was only the cause to spend time with mother nature. she would never leave behind this spot, because this was her home - the night cow never wanted any other place.

besides, if buona had unlimited funds she wouldn't spend it on herself. without her tiny human, the night cow wouldn't even be alive. she didn't want money to be selfish with, rather she wanted to spoil her human as much as she could because of how guilty she felt for the amount of time and energy that was spent into fixing buona's legs. she had no desire for material things (though she was handed them at every turn, buona's tiny human was a bit of a pushover) but instead would want to spend the money on whatever her human wanted. if buona were to build another home here (she wouldn't, as her cozy little barn that was decorated and built by hand by her human made her feel safe), she wouldn't live there alone. she would make it large enough for her tiny human and her tiny human's mother, as well as the newest addition to snowdrift vale (yet another rescue calf), froyo. her human's heart was so big that she would want a home large enough for rehabilitating other animals to give them a chance, the same chance that had been given to buona so many years ago. the chance to live.

“I’d like to help harvest some more!”

Buttermilk: Aria
Word Count: 313 words
Prompt:
While Aria had a list of places she wants to visit, she didn’t have a list of places she wanted to stay. She felt that seeing the world and it’s various cities and states were fine but staying is a completely different thing. Some might be a great place to visit for tourists but settling down is another issue - some might has unsuitable work ethics, some might have extremely high standard of living and more.

Aria would prefer staying put at where she’s at. She’s fine with an apartment since it means she doesn’t have to spend hours cleaning the entire house. Aria absolutely adores modern theme houses with monochrome colour scheme. A house with white marbles tiles and black/white wall paper with matching furniture is all she’ll need.

A big plus would be if her apartment is situated well in the city. If she wants to go to the park? Sure, it’s just a 15 minute walk. The grocery store? Just a few blocks down. Feeling peckish? The whole street is bustling with different kinds of food and cuisine. While she can see the perks of living in a suburban area, she felt that maybe a comfortable apartment in the city might be more suitable for her.

If she’d love to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life, Aria would buy a vacation home somewhere near the beach. Very cliche but she’d love to wake up to the calming waves and view of the ocean. Of course, the house would be the same theme as her apartment. She doesn’t need it to be extravagantly big. A decent sized house with full length window along with day/night curtains would make her happy. White walls and full length window would brighten up the house and give the impression that the house is bigger and more spacious than it actually is.

“I’d like to help harvest some more!”
Username: sprig
Buttermilk: Charlotte
Word Count: 353
Prompt:

As Charlotte walked down the long gravel driveway from her old home to the street, she began to lose herself in thought. She drifted off into a world where she was exactly what and where she wanted to be.

If she could choose, with no limitations, she would have a home somewhere local and close to town, but not so close you could hear the bustling all day and night. She would have a room on the second story of the house, facing out into the front yard so she could watch flower gardens bloom. Her bedroom would have two big windows, one with a cushioned window seat and lots of pillows, and another with a desk built in so that she could watercolor in the natural sunlight. Her bed would have a homemade quilt laid across it, and on her nightstand her favorite book. She would put her artwork on the walls, and in her closet would be every piece of clothing to match her style, hung neatly in rows, color coded and organized by season.

Suddenly Charlotte was jarred from her daydream when she tripped over a large rock, sending her plummeting into the mud. As she stood, attempting to scrape the gravel and mud from her coat, thunder clapped and it began to rain harder. "Perfect," she mumbled, before walking on, and coaxing herself back into her daydream.

She would live somewhere that anyone who didn't have a home would be accepted, where they could have hot home cooked meals, play games, sit by a cozy fire and read, and be their own little family, never having to worry about being kicked out. They could live there as long as they wanted, even if it was forever. She would make sure that no one ever felt unwanted, or like they didn't have a home because no one would ever feel the way she did ever again.

Charlotte sighed and focused back on the road. Little streams of water were collecting on the side, and she kicked through them in her rain boots, floating in and out of dreams and reality.
