𝓓eep in the wilderness, far from human eyes, exist the acanthelle - a near-mythic breed of unicorn.

𝓐ll acanthelle have long, nimble legs and small muzzles. However, they have a wide variety of traits from horn to tail, making them a diverse breed with very unique individuals. These unicorns are usually very solitary creatures, though they may form bands of three to four unicorns or travel in a family unit. On rare occasions, in areas with no human habitation, they may form larger herds. They're very distrustful of humans, and prefer to flee predators rather than fight them.

𝓐canthelle are very intelligent and emotionally advanced creatures. They can have very simple or complex personalities, will identify with genders and sexualities similarly to humans, and may even form lifetime goals and wishes.

⊱ Acanthelle is a closed species and, as such, users will not be added to oekaki of their unicorns, nor can they make their own. Unicorn characters made outside of the species will not be able to be used for breedings, events, etc.

⊱ While acanthelle may be posted on toyhouse or weebly, they may not be posted on deviantart. If posted off-site, link back to the adopt. Additionally, if posted on toyhouse, credit the designing artist.

⊱ Acanthelle obtained for free may not be sold for online or real-life currency, except in the situation where they may be sold for the value of any art obtained and transferred with the character.

⊱ Acanthelle may not be sold for profit, and may only be sold for the exact currency value it was originally purchased for, with the exception of the value of art obtained and transferred with the character.

⊱ Acanthelle may be traded for other acanthelle or characters, and they may be traded for breeding slots to other acanthelle or characters.

⊱ In order for an ownership transfer to be complete and valid, one user must fill out a transfer form, and both users must post on that acanthelle’s oekaki.

⊱ Upon a site or species ban, acanthelle obtained for free are subject to revocation and rehoming. Any acanthelle obtained through currency will remain in the user’s possession as a ‘unicorn character,’ but will be removed from the acanthelle species.

⊱ Official acanthelle images may not be edited.

⊱ If you are on an artist’s blocked list, you may not obtain acanthelle designed by them through trades or giveaways.

⊱ Adopt and breeding forms cannot be filled out for another user. Customs can be ordered as a gift for another user.

⊱ Acanthelle adopts require users to provide their user ID. To find this number, go to your profile. The numbers at the end of the url are your ID. For example, if you click on my profile, you can see my ID is 199829.

𝓢taff 𝓡ules

⊱ All staff are required to join the discord, as there is a staff chat there to keep the team on the same page. Joining and then never checking any notices/discussion is not acceptable, either. There's no excuse for not knowing anything discussed in the staff chat.

⊱ There is no activity requirement for artists, however communication about activity and absences are much appreciated. A year of no interaction is a soft kick from the artist team, you'll have to contact me to be reinstalled.

⊱ Mods are required to have regular activity and should be checking in on cs and discord for rule adherence.

⊱ Archivists are required to check for updates at least once or twice a week.

⊱ Artists may put an acanthelle up for flat sale or auction only after making five free adopts.

⊱ Artists may make an artist custom for every month they make at least one adopt. Mods and archivist may ask an artist to make them a staff custom each month of activity (I will always be open to making staff customs, artists are not required to make staff customs for others).

⊱ Monthly staff customs must be posted within that month, no leeway or extensions.

⊱ Artists should post a transparent version with every owned acanthelle.
