Prompt: Journee is a social butterfly. She never fails to introduce herself to anyone new. And looks don't scare her because she's blind. So she sees with her heart. She loves making new friends and welcoming newcomers into the herd or the cowmoonity as she calls it.
She's always greeting everyone with a smile, making sure even the most grumpiest and unsocial of cows feels welcome.
She takes everything with a grain of salt, she's nor one to take things personally, as she understands some act rashly in the moment of things.
She's the comforting kind of cow. Shes there for everyone when they need it, expecting nothing in return.
Though she longs for a friend like that for herself, she knows they're a needle in a haystack at times but doesn't let that get her down. She's still always the most friendly gal anyone could meet. Sometimes she does struggle making friends with the cows that aren't so social and think kindness is weird or they want something out of the friendship. Some don't always react the way she expects, to her friendliness. It still doesn't stop her though. She forever shows kindness to those around her as she one hundred percent believes just even the smallest drop of kindness, caring, and love can go a long way and plant a growing seed in even some of the most unfriendly cows.

Seraph, at first blush, is every bit a proper lady. She's elegant and poised, just like her mama raised her. If all you ever get is the first thirty seconds with her you might say 'oh what a sweet girl'. She's the kind of girl you'd be happy for your child to bring home. She doesn't talk too much, nor is she silent. She's not too smart, nor is she stupid. Heck, even her voice is pitched dead center, in a place designed to be most pleasing to the ear. In other words, Seraph is perfect. Calculatingly so. As if she was born and bred for the social life. As if she was made in a lab for this specific purpose.

And then you hit thirty seconds. Her perfection, naturally shatters. After all, even someone designed to be likable, loses their charm for being too likable. There's a sass that slips through, humanizing her in a very real way. And, for another beat, you're fooled again. You're lulled into a sense of security that this perfect being isn't so perfect after all. That she, like you, is just an average person. Then you hit the minute mark and you start to really see the rot.

Her sass turns to rudeness. And her stubbornness and inability to change her mind bleeds through. You start to realize her good listening skills is more akin to a decent ability to fake it till she makes it. Her responses are generic and vague enough that they sound like she was listening while really she was off in her own head. All at once you realize how stone cold Seraph is. How that everything is a calculated act to get what she wants out of a situation. She's totally and utterly unapologetic about how heartless she is.

It's not that she's shy or she has distrust in people, but more of the fact that she finds herself to be pretty awkward and not able to come up with any form of conversation. If someone comes up to her and attempts to start a conversation, chances are that if it's not something she can connect to, she'll give blunt replies. And if a conversation does manage to spark between her and another Buttermilk, if at some point she can't figure out what else to reply with, she'll just sit there awkwardly in silence.

Melody had always been naturally quite reserved, keeping to herself and only interacted with those within her own herd. However, as she aged, she began to force herself to socialise with others, over emphasising on her friendliness in hopes of others not noticing her nervousness. Melody liked to bring attention to herself so that she felt she has control within the situation.

When it comes to new people, she is always nervous, over thinking every interaction and worrying they can pick up on her nervousness – but she opts to remain positive, wanting to be friends with folk. Melody will often just talk, overshare her life story, trying to say anything so that she didn’t have any dreaded silences. Any silence makes her worry that she is not being interesting. Often, it makes her labelled as chatty to many new folk before they get to know her and she feels more comfortable around them, allowing for the silences where they can just coexist together.

She's much more comfortable just asking people about whatever she's considering rather than jumping to conclusions. Whenever she meets someone new, she always gives them a chance. She would never want to come off as rude or make a bad first impression, because she values her reputation and relationships with everyone. She knows that everyone has a story and is fighting their own battles that others may never understand. Everyone has hopes and dreams and a future. Whenever Bedelia meets someone new, she sees it as an opportunity to better her life and theirs, because everything happens for a reason. She is always kind, because she doesn't want to make their life harder, and only wants to help them. If you were to ask her, she might tell you that's only what's right, and it's the benefit of having friends. Because of all this, she is quick to take a liking to people and make friends with them. In addition, when she meets someone she is quick to open up to them, which can be bad. She is sometimes too trusting, which will never change no matter how many times it blows up in her face. She easily recovers from hurt and rebuke, and doesn't categorize (for the same judging reason as earlier.) She offers the same oppurtunity to everyone, and others think she'll never learn, but her heart seems immune to breaking.
