Kalons-- a species with soft manes and even softer hearts.

Monitored in forests across the globe for years, these animals
have recently been declared naturally tame as well as sentient.
Scientists are asking the general population to consider adopting
Kalons for further study in their capabilities of intelligence.

zephyr's relationship with his team is overall
amazing but a certain pokemon has it out for
him. although his team is amazing, they do
horrible in gym battles because of zephyr's
fascination with brown, fluffy pokemon.

▶ eevee
eve was his first ever pokemon and is
secretly zephyr's favorite. eevee is the
one who keeps all the pokemon in check
and is the most trusting.
▶ lillipup
lili is overly affectionate when it comes
to zephyr and just loves his attention
overall. she'll do anything for a little
head pat or back scratch.
▶ furret
furt is the most secretive of them all
and likes to sneak snacks out of zeph's
pocket when he's asleep. what a sneaky
little fella furret is.
▶ bidoof
bido is the one who has it out for zeph.
not only does she like to pull pranks but she
always acts innocent when in fact she isnt
at all.
▶ buneary
bunbun is a wildcard when it comes to
personality. one second she'll want treats
and the next she'll want to play. her
attention span is basically nonexistent.
▶ linoone
linnie is the tough one who always seeks
to protect his family. whenever there's
a dangerous pokemon around, lin steers
the family away to safety.

Monty is a rather relaxed trainer, and this is reflected in his journey so far. He left to begin his Pokemon adventure three years ago, and so far, has only acquired four gym badges. He's in absolutely no rush, and enjoys doing things in his own time. The journey rather than the destination, in his eyes. And while battling the Elite Four would be 'pretty cool', he thinks seeing the world and forming strong bonds with his team is more important.

His first Pokemon was Poochyena, given to him as a child on his birthday. They went everywhere together, and grew to be extremely close friends. When Monty was a teenager they evolved into Mightyena, and from there the pair became inseparable. They seem to read each other's minds in battle, working in perfect sync. And honestly, he can't remember the last time Mightyena was in their pokeball; they prefer to travel alongside each other.

His Budew, nicknamed Little Dude, is very anxious and shies away from battle. They much prefer to watch or, if afraid, hide themselves in his jacket. He doesn't mind, though; he often tells his buddy that there's no pressure to fight, and that they don't even need to evolve if they don't want to. This is actually helping them grow more than any training technique.

Staraptor is his flying buddy, and the two love to go on flights together. Their accuracy is almost always perfect, and their moves very rarely miss. They also 'share the same hairstyle, so that's pretty rad'. It does have a bad habit of sneaking berries, though.

His Goodra is a rather affectionate Pokemon, who dishes out cuddles left, right, and center. Monty often jokes that they're like walking hair gel, which only earns more gooey hugs. But their motherly nature also makes them very protective, and they can become surprisingly fierce in battle.

Most people are extremely shocked that, with his relaxed attitude, he managed to raise a Haxorus from an Axew egg. Haxorus is the muscle of the group and, despite their intimidating exterior, has a soft spot for their trainer.

Snorlax, like Monty, has a relaxed nature. Ironically they seem to enjoy travelling, and so actually chose to join the team to get around more. But don't be fooled; they may be lazy, but they won't hesitate to body slam any opponents who get in the way.
