The Nature of James

This humble viscet is not the sort of boast or brag about his accomplishments. He is more quiet about his good deeds, and loves watching mysterious favors being appreciated by whoever he decided to do something nice for. There is something satisfying about knowing that he made a difference without being put on the spot about it. Really, James does not want any complicated debts weighing his relationships down. He much prefers favors to be done because one wants to do them, and not because someone "owes" a favor from "last time". Instead, James likes to focus on having good, clean fun with his buddies. He is always ready for games, adventures, and jokes, making him quite popular with all but the most judgmental of viscets who might mistake his youthful foolishness for a lack of maturity. Being an adventurous sort, James loves to try new things. The only thing he likes more is trying something new alongside a good friend or two.


Friendship is something James feels very strongly about. Those special viscets who have his back, support and understand him are very dear to James. He cannot stand the thought of those wonderful viscets being hurt or unhappy, so he has no problem going out of his way for their sake. Often, that means doing favors for them in secret, like fixing things or leaving presents, but sometimes this protective nature takes a more assertive form. His friends have been there for him when a lot of others only had bullying to offer James, and he aspires to do the same. Standing up for his friends falls outside his policy of avoiding a "favor-for-favor" mentality, since he believes it should be something one does every time no matter what. There is no need to keep track of something that is automatic, and indeed it is automatic for him. The second anyone gives his loved ones trouble, this humble, happy-go-lucky guy will transform into a debating beast. Normally, calling others out on their inappropriate behavior is enough, but on those occasions where a fight breaks out, James will not back down until he knows everyone he loves is safe from harm.
Perhaps James' biggest flaw is that he is rather easily confused. He has a hard time with figures of speech and tends to take things literally, much to the amusement of his conversational partners. Sometimes he can misunderstand instructions and such, which can get him into trouble when he ends up doing something completely different from what was asked of him, but James is quick to laugh it off and then get to work setting things right.
Overall, James is very family-oriented. His loved ones come first in his life, and his greatest wish is to see them safe and happy so that they can enjoy the best things life has to offer, preferably right alongside James himself. He might not be the best at picking up on the nuances of conversation, but he will always be there for someone he knows would do the same for him.

Ideas: Maybe something to do with trees and nature? Like, one could be a fall-leaf theme, and a related one could be summer leaves, and another could be tree buds, etc.
Personality: Kyrio is a very friendly viscet. He loves being around others, and can often be found simply sitting in a busy area, conversing with random viscets. He will talk about anything, from their outfit, to the weather, to the latest celebrity gossip. Many of his friends like to joke about this, saying that his greatest fear is being alone, but that's closer to the truth than they think. Kyrio hates being alone, and will often panic if a hole in his schedule opens up and he has no one to see. On these occasions, he typically heads to the beach, finding viscets to ease his nerves.
Kyrio is also very helpful, and will never hesitate to lend a hand to those in need. He is often asked what his motive is, but he has none; he simply enjoys assisting others. Kyrio is rather meticulous; some may call him a perfectionist. He likes to have everything planned out and sett up exactly how it's supposed to be, and has been known to freak out when things go wrong. He will spend hours organizing things, and loves having viscets around to critique his work and help make it more perfect. However, don't criticize him too harshly, as his feelings may get hurt. He won't let you know he's wounded, but instead will let it fester inside until he begins to doubt everything he does. (332/200)

Delphine has always been, and likely will always be, a passionate person. If she enjoys something thoroughly, it's quite easy to tell after taking a peek at the way she decorates or her belongings. She's not afraid to be loud and proud about the things she loves (or hates, for that matter). Delphine has a way of letting you know that she adores something, which is mostly her rambling about it for a while after bringing it up.

Even with that, Delphine’s never been the hardest to convince. She’s easy to persuade, and making her believe something is a piece of cake. Delphine never liked the idea of being stubborn, and she’s been taken advantage of because of that. It usually ends up with a friend telling her that she just made a pretty odd decision. Despite the fact she's been told several times about how naive and gullible she is, Delphine, generally, is just a rather trusting person.

Since day one Delphine’s been getting into all sorts of mischief due to her curious instincts. She loves nothing more than adventuring around and investigating ever nook and cranny. Cliffhangers especially suck for her -- she just needs to know what happens or else she’ll go bonkers for an amount of time.

With that, Delphine's known to be pretty nosy, trying to butt her way into any secrets or gossip. She doesn't mean to be impolite, but she's, of course, a naturally curious person, and would like to know about anything that's happening around her. Delphine never had any intentions of using anything against anyone, just the thought of knowing something she doesn't satisfies her endless curiosity, and could save your ears and mind from some annoyance.



Delphine’s always ready to share or give a smile, and has a gleeful demeanor. She’s always been quite the chipper person, and quite an optimistic individual. No matter the situation she’ll try to make it better, and overall quite the happy Viscet. She’s not easy to upset, and often will get over it quite quickly (mind the often).

If you’re looking for opinions on that new pair of shoes or… an opinion in general, Delphine’s going to be blunt about it. Very. She does try her best to be courteous in most ways, but when it comes to her opinion her mind goes wandering off into the direction of brutally honest, and it happens to slip out of her mouth.

Delphine's been taught that loyalty is something she should always be aware of, and to be a loyal person herself. Betrayal, to her, is too harsh for her nature, and even when she's playing a mere game she dislikes the thought of turning against someone. She'll happily stick by your side and is an impressively good listener. Win-win for both, too, since she won't be irritatingly curious and bother you. Even with that, she's still here to make you feel trusted and couldn't ever turn on someone (unless you took her food -- then she'll take yours even if she promised not to).

She can’t decide on something. Ever. She’s got to ponder about it for ages, and her decision on something switches ever so easily. If you ever dare to let her decide on something, she’ll sit there and have to create an entire list of pros and cons (twice) before eventually making a decision, but then she’ll likely end up thinking if that decision was a good one. Really, she just wants to make sure her decision was a one that she could benefit from, or one that doesn't make her whole life fall apart (even if it falls apart for 0.2 seconds)
