What is this kalon's "Wings"?;; What gives them hope, passion, and freedom. What brings them to a place that fills them with belief that tomorrow will be better and makes them happy? Do they find their fire in writing, do they fly when making art? Interpret however you want.

bird wrote:Xaelyndre walked down the beach, remembering the
times when she used to come to train. The current
provided enough resistance for her to be faster
when in a stagnant pool. She tightened her knee
brace, the result of her overworking herself at
every chance she got, and waded into the water.
Short after the entered, she heard loud peeps for
help. Well, she assumed it was for help, anyway.
She looked around the beach, confused. It was
after midnight, her favorite time to swim without
a crowd. Her eyes locked onto a baby bird,
clearly abandoned and soaked. It was being carried
away by the current! She swam to it as fast as she
could, ignoring the pain she felt in her knee.
Xaelyndre carried the bird in her paws and found her
way out of the water. Looking at the bird in a clearer
light, it was an albino. That much was clear. Perhaps
it had been left behind by its family for not looking like
them. Ah well, she covered it in her towel and left it
there. It would find its way and she would get a new
towel. Xaelyndre started to walk away, shivering
slightly at the evening breeze. The plover, scared to
be alone again, escaped the warm towel and started
to hop after her, eventually gaining the courage to fly
to catch up. "What the...?" Xaelyndre looked back to
see the thing flying after her. "Leave me alone you
pest!" She started running at this point, annoyed that
the thing seemed to have imprinted or whatever those
pests do. The bird landed right in her tail and bunched
itself up in it.
Long story short, the bird is an albino Plover and has
a little cage in her tail. His name is Saint Blanc.
