run..."
It was all a misunderstanding, a horrible, horrible misunderstanding. My family were shepherds, I spent my childhood days feeding and petting sheep, helping my mother and father turn wool into yarn, and eating my mom's amazing potato soup. Then it happened. The guard knocked on the door, his gruff voice calling
"Maria and Aldwin? Are you Maria?" He asked as my mother opened the door.
"Yes I am." She told him, the guard told something to my mother I couldn't hear. After more of that amazing soup, my parents sent me to bed. I awoke to my parents talking in hushed, nervous whispers. A knock on the door.
"Let me in!" A guards voice shouted. My mother rushed into my room, she wrapped my bed quilt that she had sewn around my neck and nuzzeled me on the head. She said calmly but sternly
"You must go, my little fox." With that she kissed me on the head and my father hugged me. I stared at them, confused and scared. Then the door was torn down. It all happened so fast, my father drawing a sword and fighting a guard, fire leaping up, jumping out a window,
my mother yelling,
"Run my little fox! Run!", and a clash of iron against bronze. I dashed into the woods, my mother's voice fading away with the ruby flames. I grew up too fast. With no one too take care of me, I became exactly I didn't want to become. A thief, a wanted thief.

"...So that the Queen's hounds don't catch you."
" Stop thief!" A guard yelled, his gruff but loud voice echoing throughout the marketplace.
"Darn it!"I thought to myself, silently hoping the cloud Viscets would help me. As no heavenly help was coming, I grabbed the bag of cookies and bread I had stolen and started to run.
"Left at the fruit stand, right at the pottery shop, and into the alley! " I repeated in my head, knowing the way to escape any guard.
Smack! I hit the limestone wall hard and dropped to the pebble spotted floor. Seconds later I saw the guard's grumpy face staring down at me, looking very unamused.
" Must have taken the wrong alley, right?" I joked, it didn't help though, as he heaved me to my feet and promptly cuffed my paws in the bronze cuffs all guards carry. It was going to take me a while to get out of this one.
For if they catch you, they shall surely trap you.
I was being held fast between two guards, bronze shackles keeping my paws behind my back and a guard tightly gripping my wrist. The palace throne room consisted of gold and marble tiles, yellow stained glass windows depicting Queen Mida, and a large golden throne, upon the throne lay Queen Mida.
"Guard! Why did you bring a streetrat in here?" She gazed at me, her golden eyes unblinking and terrifying.
"Yer her royal highness, this is Renny, he's wanted." I wiggled my wrists, trying to annoy the guards and fake wave at the Queen.
"Oh yes. Sir Renard Svenson. She said in a mocking tone,
"I'm currently discussing the treason of the Wildwood family, and the disappearance of their daughter, Melon Wildwood. Take this streetrat to a deep dungeon holding cell,
I have no time to deal with him now."Her golden back leg twitched.
"Shall I confiscate his scarf?" The male guard asked timidly.
"No."She replied,
"Its nothing but a rag, and he'll need something to keep him warm down there. Now get out of my sight!" And I was whisked away, down the sandstone stairs, to the dungeon.
