Avocet- was the prefix given to him when he joined the Clan after being a kittypet named "Jacob" - this prefix reflects his black and white pelt, making him easily identifiable by his name alone. -Feather is a suffix that was given to reflect of Avocet's very light-hearted and soft nature, similar to a feather. However, the rigidity of a feather also reflects on Avocet's persistence and how he will not easily break.

Fernripple’s name stems from her constant habit of wanting physical affection with her need to respect other felines boundaries as she wished they would respect hers. She loves the warmth of a lover’s cuddle, but finds others smothering her own personal space when not invited by her personally. Her greatest habit is her worst trait, for as lightly as she can, she will trail her tail along other cats while she walks showing them her affection without overcrowding anyone’s space and subsequently tickling them in the process much like the tickle of a fern as you pass by.

Reason for Name: Born under a stormy sky, her mother named her after the fluffy grey and white clouds. This was not only for Cloud's stark white fur, which stuck out like a blackthorn among her darker siblings, but the smudges of black that infrequently peppered it. Her father had suggested Pepper, but her mother politely declined as she believed Cloud would be a delicate lil' thing; How wrong was she when she got -storm for her unpredictable nature.

He was originally named Patch, until he got caught in a snowstorm, after leaving the safety of his den in search of prey. After a patrol had found him taking shelter in a hollowed out log, his name was then changed to 'Snow', due to his mostly white coloured fur and because of the season he had been found in. He gained the suffix, 'Claw', due to being seen as a strong and aggressive opponent, not to mention that his claws were sharper than those of a normal cat's claws.
