Healing

She was young. She wanted to make something of her life. She had such big plans... then she lost them. Her family wasn’t rich, they didn’t have much. But she wanted to work for them, wanted to help them. One day that all was taken from her, though. That family, her friends, even her home. Because of them. The savages that would raid random houses in the middle of the night in hopes of gaining some big score in a poor neighborhood. They hit hers while she was out finding a job to raise some money to help feed her family. Those raiders broke everything, took her family away, and burned the house down to prove they were not to be trifled with. She got scared. She knew she would be alone now, and was terrified. Soon, she started begging people to help her, instead of doing what she was planning. She gave up her hopes and dreams and fell down into despair. She was lost, until one family took her in. They gave her the help she needed to get over what happened to her and move on in life. They helped her heal.
