Ngen is sweet, kind and willing to lend a paw to others in need. However, he's also honest and won't act sweet to protect someones feelings. Being the way he is confuses people, but most get along with him nonetheless. He's very focused on his work and gives to others when asked, most see him as a kind hearted kalon with a thick hide when it comes to shady business. Strangers have to look twice when he introduces himself as a male due to his feminine look and thick scent of flowers in his coat.
:favorite flower:
While he enjoys nothing more than laying in a meadow of mixed flowers, the kind he loves to grow around his house is Gardenia. It's scent reminds him of his mother and grandmother and he often wears perfume in their memory as they were a big part of his life. The flower is an elegant white blossom that grows a bit bigger than his paw and smells like heaven to him. It takes a lot of time and care to grow, but he feels every tear is worth the effort.
On top of being related to his memory, it can used as an oil to treat infections in the system which he gladly makes to help out the elderly and afflicted kalons. Being useful in some way adds to his fondness for the plant and he wants to be helpful to others someday. The oils can also be used to make bath salts that calm the mind and body; Ngen often makes them for himself but isn't against selling them or donating his work. It's one of the only smells he can claim no one would be offended by, it's too sweet.
However, despite all of the perks and beauty, he loves them the most because of his mother. She tended to the garden at a park and grew a few closely bunched together. The center had a small clearing where the two would read books and laugh together. He remembers laying on his back and watching the white petals fall around them as her soft voice took his imagination on a journey. They remind him to have fun, be kind and never stop dreaming.

personality; Rita is a fiery person, but only when you get to know her a lot. She hides her personality because she's afraid of being disliked. She loves to debate and paint, seeing as she's a creative soul with so much curiosity, and a clever girl with a big vocabulary. Rita dislikes admitting this tremendously.

favourite flower; Mangolias mean a lot to Rita. She paints them a lot and wears them upon her at all times. She's always had a feeling, something drawing her towards them. She loves all flowers and keeps a well-fed flower garden, mostly consisting of various subspecies and colours of mangolias. She never knew why she liked them so much, maybe they remind her of herself, shy and pastel when you don't look at them for long enough, but stay just a little bit longer and you'll soon realize how big their personality really is. Mangolias perfect the intricate and beautiful painting of her soul, like the last brushstroke of luxurious colour to finish.

personality: saffron is very creative and imaginative; his head is always filled with dreams he'd just dying to make come true. and usually they do -- he's a psychic! it all started when he was first introduced to a saffron crocus. his mother is a gardener and brought him to her garden to show him her flowers. as soon as he touched the purple petals, he could see the future. now whenever he's around the saffron flowers or the spice, he's able to view what will happen and what is to come. saffron uses this skill in his psychic business, and he's helped many people that have walked through the doors. along the small block that his house lies on, he's become somewhat of a legend.

favorite flower: the saffron crocus is his favorite -- from the purple petals to the crimson threads in which a spice can be made from. but best part about the saffron crocus is the strange effect it has on him when he's in the prescense of the flower or spice. it empowers his psychic abilities, and the futures of many are endlessly spun in front of his eyes. saffron always keeps this plant in his home, especially for when he has customers and visitors seeking a part of their future.

orlando was born with a million words to say, yet no way to say them. born mute, they struggled to interact with others from the beginning, but somehow always managed to find a way. if the other kalon didn't know sign language, they'd write. no paper? lip reading would do.

they took a certain liking to one form of communication, though. this was floriology, the language of flowers. of course, not everyone knew the meanings of each and every blossom, so it served as more of a secret way to speak with close friends and family.
