Another viscet with some stitch designs!
This one is based off of scarecrows, crows, and will-o-wisps/dark fire magic/dark magic in general.

They will be another fairly simple comp, but this one comes with one extra for people to add to their form if they so choose to c:

You're allowed to create whatever short story you'd like about them. It can be about anything, as long as its a story that involves them fully. This story has a maximum amount of 1,000 words.

You are also allowed one extra; this extra may be either one piece of art (no comics or animations), or 800 words worth of extra writing. The art/writing may be related back to the story, but it's not required.

I was just thinking of a Raven like viscet ahhhh

story;

A theif's beginning
He bit his lip his eyes watching as viscets busied themselves through the marketplace
from afar he could hear their loud voices as they chatted with the marketers as well
among themselves talking about life or a new product they just bought.
You could tell in the young viscling’s eyes that he was very nervous you could see it
in his body how he shook against a large male viscet with a pelt that was black as
the midnight sky on a winter's day.
His father assigned him of his very first task, his father proud to have his son out
and about and in celebration declared this to be his first. The viscling snuggled close
to his father watching as they moved among the streets watching the viscets and
humans talking and buying merchandise.
“Come on my son you know what to do, you remember what me and many viscets
have taught you.” His father said his voice was filled with pride.
“Edan,You have a very strong mind and I know you will do your very best. Remember
this is only a small assignment go for something small and if anything goes wrong
holler for me I’ll be here watching you just in case anything was to go wrong.” He
looked down at his son down with deep kind ocean eyes and a kind toothy smile giving
the viscling hope and making his smile back up to his dad.
“Yes dad I will do my best!” Edan chirped spinning himself in a mini circle out of
excitement now. His father smiled more now pawing him playfully,pushing him with his
paw and the viscling jumped to his paws and took off into the crowd of viscets and
humans.
His eyes examined all the items for sale eyes darting left and right at anything that
sparkled and glimmered.
“Something small.” he made sure to remind himself of this turning his face to look away
from a pearl necklace on a table that was tempting to take off with.
“Hello young one why are you all by yourself.” A old female voice croaked and he turned
around to face a viscet with wrinkles under her eyes one of her eyes were blind and her
muzzle she had a bulky pair of glasses on. His heartbeat sped up now it was pounding in
his chest...should he call his dad? No no she was a old viscet nothing to worry about.
He breathed a sigh of relief his eyes catching something shiny going straight to look at
her wrist. He thought for a long moment forgetting about what his father had told him
about something small thinking about how proud he would be if he brought his father
some gold and jewels.
His nervous and frightened smile was now mischievous
“Well… you see mam, I'm very lost and I need help finding my way out of this crowd..could
you please help me?” He whined looking down at his paws and the old viscet gave him a
pitiful look before nodding slowly and letting out a short sign.
“Your okay i’ll help you out young one.” she spoke in a soothing voice and he cheered up
grabbing her paw,the paw with all the jewels on her wrist.
She led them he started to loosen his paws claw catching onto the the bracelet and making
sure that it easily slipped into his bag without anyone including her seeing it.
“Thank you so much!” he squeaked innocently and she disappeared the the crowd of faces
no longer visible in his sight. He bounced around now for a awhile happy he was able to
complete such a task.
He walked again through the crowd to go to the other side but something grabbed his tail
harshly pulling him back making his claws latch onto the ground. A viscet guard had seized
him by the tail and was now holding him upside down..how did he know. Was the first
thought that went through the viscling’s mind as he seemed to growl into his face practically
spitting some through closed teeth. He didn't know what to do he shaked and then
remembered about how his father told him to call for him if something like this was to happen.
He screamed letting out a frantic call begging for his father to come. The viscet glared at
him “I got him” he shouted over to another guard.
Another thought came to his mind,his father had told him only one guard watches this area.
This was a trap this was all set up. His eyes grew big as he tried to warn his father but the
big viscet rammed into the guard holding his son captive. The viscet’s breath was knocked
right out of him letting go of the pup
How did they know.

he looked around for the purple viscet his father’s second in command who was supposed
to be keeping an eye out calling the rest of his pack instead Edan spotted him off in the
corner the same corner his eyes were full of mischief watching as his father was pushed
to the ground before handcuffed with chains. That rat.
He looked back to his father who now was looking at him and calling at him.
“Edan run!” he shouted as a guard was trying to grab at the young viscet who quickly
squeezed himself through he paws diving into the confused crowd. He took a look
back but his father was being dragged off his calls could be heard it stung Edans ears.
This was his fault. He was trying to think of a way to make it all better but there was
no way he could change this..he father was going to die they were going to execute
him for being a thief,everyone knew who he was.
I’ll make him pay for this.
