family tradition; Dalia and her family consisting of her grandparents always go all out for Dia De Los Muertos. In a tragic accident in the past, her parents passed away, so every year they celebrate Dia De Los Muertos to honor them. They always start it traditionally by helping her grandparents make Pan De Muerto, alongside with some traditional dinners her parents used to love. They wrap all the food gently in a basket, and shower it with flowers to add decoration. In the next basket they bring, they carry small memories and drinks with finely decorated glasses. Normally, they bring wine to toast in honor of her parents. After the two baskets are ready, they set them aside, and begin to mold and paint sugar skulls. They usually decide to bring a small box and put all the decorations and such in there. So with that, they take the two baskets and the box with them to the graveyard, where they walk to her parents graves, and begin to light the candles, and place the decorations neatly along the stones. Sometimes, her grandfather will bring a Spanish guitar, and they will all sing along to a song her parents loved dearly. After the offerings and toasting, they pray to her parents, and Dalia always says; "It almost feels like they're here..". With a heavy heart, and the last decorations, they grab the flower petals and slowly lay them out from the box onto the grass, then the sidewalk, all the way back home so the spirits can find there way..

extra writing; Dalia's parents were on vacation, traveling the Bahama's, when the ship mysteriously crashed. To this day, nobody knows how it sank. Dalia is a kind, sweet, and quiet gal who loves spending time with the people she loves. Her talents include singing and playing Spanish guitar. Her grandparents took custody of her as soon as they found out her parents passed away. Dalia has always been an only child, and would usually spend time with some friends on her street, but when she moved, she lost them. Dalia still respects everything her grandparents have done for her and loves them dearly.
