Chasity


The favored family member out of everyone, Toccara has relatively high regards for their sister. The two of them have lots of fun while they're causing trouble together! One of their favorite mayhem-inducing activities is thinking of elaborate schemes to trick people with. Toffee also likes to ask Chasity about her magical practices and asks her if she might be able to teach them anything.
When it's not just the two of them, Tocca usually lingers beside Chasity if she doesn't mind. Neither of them feel the need to be around each other constantly, so they both respect each other's privacy and frequently are doing their own things.

August
Quite frankly, Toccara thinks that their sister August is a bit of a weenie. They often tease her about things; most of which really don't make sense. They make a lot of silly comebacks to whatever she says. August, in return, has gifted Toccara with the nickname "Bumblebutt" as a kind of retaliation. It's never mean to be mean-spirited, just a bit of fun even if it does sometimes get out of hand! If anyone else were to make fun of August, Toffee would become very protective of their sister, and maybe even hostile.
When not being a jerk to their sister, Toccara is actually quite supportive of her. They might not have the perfect siblings/friends relationship, but Tocca likes to roughhouse with August sometimes which ends up in both of them grinning.

Sophie
Sophie and her child don't have the most communicative relationship. Toccara frequently takes advantage of Sophie's soft-spoken nature and doesn't really give a way for her to enter a conversation; unless Tocca is asking her questions. This kid will not stop asking their mother about things from the country, which is quite something because of their normally quiet demeanor. They love hearing Sophie describe the openness of the countryside and the vast expanse of farm fields. Every time Tocca asks a question about how peaceful it was, it is immediately story time.
It's kinda cute, they've picked up a bit of Sophie's accent and it really comes out when they're excited. Talking to their mother often ends up in them sounding as if they were a country thoroughbred.


Lailian
Oh boy. Toccara has all kinds of one-sided fun with their dad. A lot of their interactions consist of Toffee pestering their father about little things and teasing him to no end, despite being very clearly told not to. A lot of their joking consists of them acting as if they were Lilian's boss in an office or other business. They are very formal around him when committing to the joke, and frequently call him casual workplace names like, "Champ, Ted, Pal, Lilian, Bartholomew," and a special one reserved for special circumstances, "Mr. Teddy." They know to never make fun of his asymmetrical features, though.
Similarly to August, its not just all teasing. Toccara compliments Lailian for his "good work" and often pats him on the back to congratulate him on little successes, like making breakfast. Toccara is by far the most annoying child of the three to him.

Toccara slipped out, as they always do, for the first adventure of the day. They decided they'd explore that slight path they had found in the woods, not too far away. A ten minute walk at most to the entrance of the park. They were pretty sure that the woods near their house had been mostly scanned and marked accordingly. Sparing no glances to their home, Cara set off to adventure through a new territory today.

The tiny trail split off from the already cleared path through the trees and brush. Cara smiled and moved past a few grabbing branches. Though it was not significantly different than woodland paths they had already walked through many times, it was pleasing that not many people had been here. Maybe Toccara had been the newest to try to walk through here? The ground had been moderately cleared, but many twigs had to be brushed aside so that they would not tangle in their fur. Small green plants grew around the edges of what had been previously trodden down, an early step to repairing what had been damaged. Tocarra said a silent apology as they continued along; not everything can be so fortunate as to live a good life. Another pang of odd guilt, they were contributing nothing to change that. Suddenly, a debate broke amount inside of their head. Should they not be walking on this path? Was it abandoned for a reason? Who else is going to find out what lies among here? Who am I helping by doing this?
While the argument occurred, another string of thought developed. Tocarra noted how it was quite interesting that they could discuss with themself the moral righteousness of everything, but still continue what was being debated. It's not as if they sudden;y stopped to question themself. If was just a path, after all; there was no reason to get so involved. And it was that string of thought that ceased the argument. Now they noticed that the path that had been played out for them ended. There was no more of it to follow. It ended here, and it was now that the importance of the moral obligations of walking a path arose. Continue to walk and be a pioneer of this trail, turn around and follow it back out, or do nothing. Toccara continued.
With a somehow impeccable sense of how to return home, they crunched fallen sticks and flattened small floral life as they kept moving forward. Cara could nearly feel the clearing of trees up ahead. Soon the treelike started thinning and they padded the soft grass. Home was very close; Toccara knew this clearing as if it were their own tailshine. Somehow it always looked pristine and out of place from everything else, like it had never been touched despite Cara's being here many times before. It always brought on a sense of magic and timelessness to them. Often, they came here to find solitude and relax. Toccara greeted the trees they had grown close to and stepped very lightly as to not injure the plants that grew well there. They entered another line of trees, and soon there were many trails to choose from this time. Lunch would probably be soon. Cara chose a path they knew wouldn't take very long and continued on their way home.
The thought occurred that they'd have to break in that new path. The idea made them smile, they were going to become very familiar with that small, off-handed trail.

Finley is definitely a momma's boy. Whenever he isn't going on adventures or bothering his sisters, he's helping at his mom's lemonade store. Around her, his loud tone and boisterous nature is toned down a bit. Not to his mother's level, but he is much more pleasantly kind than normal when he's with her.
xLailian
Finley tries very, very hard to have that 'perfect' father-son relationship. To Finn, this includes things like playing sports together and cracking dad jokes, and... Lailian isn't exactly that type. So this causes his son to be a somewhat a source of annoyance when he's just trying to show how much he loves his ol' pops.
xChasity
Finn and Chasity don't exactly have the best of relations, especially for siblings. Most of his interactions with her will end up in a fight, either because he either broke something of hers or said something ignorant like usual. Still, he loves his sister, and she... well, she probably thinks that he's tolerable sometimes.
xAugust
Because they're both around their mom/the lemonade store a lot, the two unintentionally hang out quite a bit. It's often just Finn yammering into August's ear, but they're still pretty close. Finley sometimes can even talk her into an adventure every now and then, but he always makes sure to ask her first (which isn't common of him around others).
Personality: Finley is a rowdy, adventurous kind of boy. You can often find him in the forest, climbing trees, running around, and annoying the fauna. He's extremely brave and will do almost anything to impress someone. However, this often leads him to make rash decisions or some form of property damage. His lack of an ability to hold still and loud mouth has been known to annoy some, namely the introverted. Still, he makes up for this in his friendliness and loyalty. Finn often just wants to make everyone feel included, which can sometimes involve dragging unwilling others along on his escapades through the forest.
When it comes to smarts, he definitely isn't downright stupid but he isn't exactly a genius either. Just more of a middle of the road, B to C average kind of student. Due to his impatientness, he will often blurt out answers during class, much to the amusement of the class and annoyance of the teacher.

Father - Lailian;; Hazel is a total Daddy's girl, and she absolutely adores spending time with her father. She very often forces Lailian to come and build forts with her in the garden, hunt down butterflies, or go on adventures {which very often leads to Hazel getting stuck somewhere and Lailian having to retrieve her from a tree!} She actually hogs her Daddy, spending so much time with him that it often leads to sibling conflict, particularly between her and Chasity. One of her favourite things to do with her Father is reading, but not just childrens books, oh no, Hazel will ask {force} Lailian to read her whole Harry Potter books, or parts of the Lord of the Rings, all in one go. They will snuggle up either in Hazel's tree fort, or on the couch covered in blankets, with a mug of hot cocoa, and Lailian will simply read to her for hours on end. She has Lailian totally wrapped around her little finger, and that's just how she likes it.

Mother - Sophie;; Hazel and Sophie have a very mixed relationship. Most of the time, it's pretty positive, but Hazel's personality can lead to some problems from time to time. Firstly, Sophie struggles to control Hazel's boisterous personality, and Hazel tends to take advantage of her mother's soft-spokeness and will often run off just out of earshot, and when she finally comes home from her adventures hours later, she'll simply say "But Mummy, I couldn't hear you when you called!" Sophie also doesn't really approve of Hazel's ambitions to own her own zoo, and doesn't particularly appreciate it when Hazel keeps bringing home several different creatures and keeping her in her room, insisting that she has to practice her animal whispering... However, Hazel loves helping {she actually spills the sugar everywhere but hey ho} Sophie to make the lemonade to sell at her stall, so that is the main time that the pair have to bond. However, Sophie does get frustrated whenever Hazel decides to experiment with the lemonade, often adding either different flavours, but not the type that you'd think is nice, oh no, Hazel likes to make dirt lemonade, snail lemonade, or even spider lemonade, and so will very often ruin batch upon batch.

Sister - Chasity;; Hazel and Chasity have a very up and down relationship. Hazel very often wants to spend time with Chasity, but her sister doesn't share the same feelings, which leads to Hazel getting cross, and very often messing around with Chasity's potions, causing the two sisters to fight. Hazel also takes up most of Lailian's time, which makes Chasity rather cross, as she enjoys spending time with her father. However, the two can get on well, as Hazel enjoys helping Chasity to come up with new hexes, vexes and curses, and also experimenting, and the two will often go off on adventures together, with their arsenal of spells, ready for any monsters they may meet! Although they argue quite frequently, the pair are actually somewhat fond of each other, although Hazel definitely likes Chasity more than Chasity likes Hazel...

Sister - August;; As for Hazel and August, they don't tend to get on all too well... Hazel is a little too boisterous for August to handle, which often leads to August getting beaten around a little bit by her sister. Hazel is quite mean to her sister, often liking to tease her for the hat that she wears, and pulling at the bits of straw around her tail. However, if Hazel is in a kind mood, she'll actually play quite nicely with August, and likes to help her make her beverages, and if she's in a reeaaaaallly kind mood, she'll even go and pick leaves and berries for August that she can use in her beverages. Although she's awful at expressing it, Hazel does actually care deeply for August and would hate to see anything bad happen to her.


D I A R Y E N T R Y:
Goooooood morning Diary!
It was Sunday today, my favourite day of the week, because it means even more time to explore! Mommy and August went to a market thing to set up the lemonade stand, but I didn’t want to go… I said it was because I had work to do but actually, I found this really cool pond thing in the forest yesterday but I didn’t get to explore it because Mom got mad at me for being gone so long… Oops! Hahahaha! I ate my breakfast REALLY quickly, and I got together my adventure kit and went off! There were lots of strange and creepy noises, but I didn’t let it deter me! I made it to the pond after walking for ageeeeeeeeees, my paws really hurt after a while, so I had a little rest and ate the peanut butter sandwich that Daddy made me, before trying to get some samples from the pond. I found this really awesome looking toad thing that I have decided to make my new pet! His name will be….. Terrance! Hopefully next weekend I can go back and get Terrance a friend. Then I just got some food and bedding for Terrance, before going back home and trying to smuggle Terrance into the house… I managed to make it in and get him upstairs, deciding that August didn’t need her jewellery box and that using it as a home for Terrance was a much more worthy cause. I gave Terrance lots of food before going downstairs for Dinner, and then going to bed because I didn’t feel very well after prodding around in the gross pond water and my paws really hurt from all my brave adventuring… Night night diary, what a great day! I’ll see you in the morning.

He has a few mixed feelings about his Dad, especially his rainbow blushes. His father puts off a sensitive type vibe, but Felix doesn't mind it too much. He enjoys going out and getting a break once in a while with his father, life can't always be about his mother and sisters, he needs guy time too! On a general sense, he enjoys Lail's company and wishes they had more in common, but does think he's a little too sensitive sometimes.
Sophie
His mother has always lived for two things in his mind, lemonade and family. She'd always been a kind mother and hardworking even if her upbringing was fairly tough and her dreams shut down along the way. He can admire her determination but her love for the sour beverage is a bit beyond him. He prefers the sweeter strawberry, watermelon or passion fruit lemonades himself. However, not being one to push others away, he's always willing to help her out and put on a smile while doing so.
Felix considers his relationship with Sophie a healthy one, but there are always some things he can't share with her since he's afraid to burden her mind. He hopes to move away to the country himself like his mother was born into, but he's not sure how to get there yet.
Chasity
Chasity must be good deep down, but Felix has a hard time believing it sometimes. She's very troublesome with her potions, he has to watch his back and make sure his drink isn't going to turn his eyes green or his fur purple. He likes her still, but prefers to keep away from her if she's working on witch stuff.
He gets annoyed at her when she doesn't help out, he gets sad when she tests on him, but either way she's still his sister. Being a brother in her life is a little more important than being afraid, so he does is best to keep her company and listen to rambling about spells and potions.
August
Very easy get along with and shares some of his desires. He likes it when they both get to help out at the lemonade shop and work together to better the experience, but he also feels bad for her. It's hard to follow in the pawsteps of your parents, he hopes she'll move on to making better, more diverse drinks someday.
Much like for Chasity, he'll guinea pig for a few of her new mix ups and encourage her to continue doing what she loves. Most days they got along, but even he asks for a break from the lemonade shop once in a while which makes him look lazy but he doesn't care. In the end, he trusts her the most in the family.
Extra 1; Personality
Being the only male in the litter, he has a very big brother vibe to him. It's important for him to take charge and keep his sisters from killing each other; since they don't always get along. No one can get along all the time he says, but rarely out loud since he doesn't wanna say anything that might indicate he's picking sides.
He believes in justice, kindness and selflessness over most things. He'll do his best to help others and his family members while protecting the peace. Felix is also fairly social, open and trusting with his good judge of character. While not particularly smart, he is bright and catches onto things quickly but doesn't learn so well from a book or video.
Extra 2: His Dream
To one day own his own shop to tell citrus teas, flavored honey and adopt three cats to keep him company.
