with a name like acantha, it is meant to be read as elegant, and charismatic. instead, it's a name that means thorny, and prickly!

i wanted to pick a name that would both sound pretty, yet has a harsh meaning behind it. acantha is a brute, but has a sophisticated way with her mannerisms. they mean well, really! but, he can appear rough, and on the mean side of things. deep down, it's just as goofy as the next gooclown you could possibly meet.

holiday enjoys to carve their pumpkins by using his needle-filled tail- whacking at the pumpkin and hoping for the best. truly like an artist! doing whatever it is she knows best(?), whilst telling himself, "I'm sure this will turn out just fine. I don't know what I'm doing!" it may be a clean cut, it may be messy! she doesn't seem to mind the outcome, as long as he had fun along the way.

for the painting process, however, is a lot more easy to do- still just as messy, though. with a palette full of colors, she smacks her paws down and just smacks them down against the pumpkins- much like finger painting! it's probably his favorite process when it comes to decorating her pumpkins.

prompt: meryl gives out both tricks and treats, but she can't help herself: most of the time, it's a trick. her tricks consist of several pranks, from dumping candy wrappers filled with spiders in buckets, to the classic "shock buzzer" when someone rings her doorbell, to the time she answered the door in a full monster outfit to scare all the goo who showed up, to the time she had milk spill on someone's head the moment they stepped on her doormat, to other things that, according to her, her lawyer advised her not to mention. one time she even got someone several times back to back, all in one go! that was definitely one of her proudest achievements.

prompt: it seemed kinda corny at the time, but teddy couldn't help himself. it seemed like the perfect costume: what better to go as... a hairbrush! well, not exactly a hairbrush, but rather fur being brushed by a brush! so maybe a furbrush? teddy didn't think about it too much, but he did think about how amazing his costume would be: he had a ton of fur, so it'd work well. teddy was just wondering about where he'd find a giant brush costume. scrolling on goobay and goomazon didn't yield any results, so he came to the conclusion that he'd have to make it himself. a lot of diy later, and he'd created the ultimate costume... according to him anyway.

Caramel, though quite a fan of autumn, has never carved a pumpkin- before this year of course. Her first instinct was to cut out a huge heart, something simple but perfectly suited to her personality. After some pondering though, she decided to go another direction- her paws clumsily cutting away at the gigantic orange fruit.
After a while, she revealed a .. circular-ish cut out of a vague figure. Her smile lit even more brightly as she showed her friends. "I carved you!" It wasn't necessarily a masterpiece, but gosh was she proud of it.

Her reason for these being her favorite is because when she and her younger brother used to go trick-or-treating together, his favorite were Snickers bars-- and the two would trade! She'd give him all her Snickers, and he'd give her all his Milky Ways. Nowadays the Milky Way candies you get on halloween remind her of her childhood and her younger brother, and they always make her smile.

He enjoys taking pictures of the pumpkins to save, since the squirrels will ultimately finish eating them so they won't be around long. He thinks that lighting these up with candles at night is just the coolest thing!
