Lykaios (or Lykaio if there's only one) are a cross between a fish, an otter and a wolf. They are slightly larger than a pet cat and have sharp teeth and front claws. Lykaios are omnivores but most of them prefer meat and fish over fruit or veg. They prefer water but are willing to go on land as well. Lykaios LOVE humans or any species that is not their own due to their adventurous nature. A Lykaio can also be somewhat territorial of their belongings. When sleeping in water with a mate or a friend Lykaios will hold hands to prevent drifting away from each other.

They are afraid of their reflection. Mortified by it, horrified at the mere sight of it. Freddie's phobia is catoptrophobia, a morbid and unrealistic fear of mirrors. Freddie is afraid of what she might see in them, that he may see spectres, looming behind him or that she'll look into her deep black eyes and see nothing staring back. He also has spectrophobia, a fear of the ethereal, the ghostly, the otherworldly. Freddie doesn't want to see anything terrifying because she can already hear their screams ringing in her ears like tinnitus, but worse. Curses muttered, oaths sworn, promises broken and secrets whispered, Freddie can hear all of them, it's the people saying them that scare Freddie the most. She sees what others are blind to, and doesn't wish to do so.
