Something delicate stirred the sleeping young man from his bed, lifting a head of bedhead ridden black curls. At the foot of his bed Kellin Camerson was seated cross-legged in an old Blink-182 tee and glow in the dark star stickers that kids would apply to their ceilings along his forearms. In his hands he played the flute, heading moving with each breath he took. "Oh your up," Kellin flashed a sweet smile resting the flute in his lap.
"You play such a sweet tune every morning for me," Taylor yawned, rubbing the sleep out of each of his eyes the gaze of spring grass green and peaceful blue sky eyes landing on the other man on his bed. "You do know you really don't have to do that, I do have an alarm clock for the exact reason you do this," he said.
"Oh of course I know that Tay, but really I enjoy letting you wake up to a more natural and peaceful song than an harsh robotic designed beep."
Giving a silent chuckle Taylor slipped into a memory foam pair of frog slippers, one missing the left eye having been replaced with an old red button. "I'll cook us up some eggs, hash browns, and sausage patties for breakfast once I do a quick check down at the boat shed."
The boat shed was an old small apartment sized shed at the docks on the beach in which Taylor had renovated to be a place to keep his fully aquatic rescues such as fish, dolphins, and others fitting it with a pool, feeding station, and several other features. It currently was housing an injured sea turtle that had suffered from a plastic six-pack ring getting caught around it's back right flipper and creating a nasty laceration. "It's almost time for Hendrick to go back to his home in the big wild ocean world," Taylor said more to himself than his companion while he tugged on his sweatshirt.
Already the sun had risen high into the sky leaving the man's home bathed in light, casting long shadows in the corners and under the tables. A Perfect tome of day
