Chapter One:

It's an early afternoon in Alaska. The air nips at whoever walks the grounds. Some townspeople are walking in town, visiting and chatting. Some cars, bikers, and skaters are rolling around, bringing home goodies they recently bought. Among the crowd, there was a plumerian named Kyleigh riding on her hand painted skateboard. In her hands was a bag of art supplies. She pulled out a black and white Ipod, and put earbuds in. She crossed the road when suddenly, she got hit.

Two hours later, she found herself in the hospital looking at all the tools on the walls and the wires hooked up to her. On the desk, was her Ipod and art supplies. She could hardly move, but used all her strength and struggled to the desk. She found her Ipod and beside it was a mirror. She looked in it, and saw scars, bruises, and stitches. She wasn't the same, and never will be. She stumbled back to the bed, and pressed play on the ipod. It played a song, one she had never heard before. She closed her eyes, and smiled.
This song was her future hope.

Chapter Two:

A few months later, Kyleigh's injuries healed. Scars were left behind, and she was ready for her future. She woke up on a Monday morning in her small, but intricate apartment. Everywhere you looked, there was art of all kinds. Sketches, paintings, chalk, and even dried flower art. This plumerian had a talent, but she rarely let anyone know about it. She went to her desk, finding her Ipod and a mirror. She had a flashback of the hospital. She picked up the mirror and looked at herself and gave a slight smile.
She could go back to school now and see her friends. Of course, this plumerian didn't like learning. Afterall, who did? She took her skateboard up for the first time in a few weeks, and rode to school, avoiding any vehicles.

Chapter Three:

While at school, she would take any chance to listen to her music, often listening to Perfectly Imperfect. She wondered even how she got that song on her ipod. Maybe someone put it on there while she was unconscious at the hospital. It didn't matter to her though, this song was her new beginning. At lunch, she would hum and listen to the words while eating. "im flawed, im bent, and im proud of these scars. Say what'cha want about me". Throughout her day, plumerians stared at her, whispered, and even made fun of her. "Well I no longer feel the need to impress ya." She stayed quiet throughout the day, even with her friends. Finally, the end of the school day came and she took her skateboard and starting to ride home. Then, a group of plumerians came up to her and pushed her off her board, making her get flashbacks. Terrified Kyleigh sat ready to be hurt. Fiercely the plumerians took her behind a ally, and started talking bad about her for no reason. Kyleigh screamed in their faces lyrics from her song. "SAY WHAT YOU WANT ABOUT ME! IM PERFECTLY IMPERFECT! Those evil things that you said to me feel like poison inside! But I know you're gonna say them anyways! I no longer feel the need to impress you, so leave me be!" Because of these words, the plumerians were surprised and left her be.

Chapter Four:
A few years later, Kyleigh was known as a amazing artist. She made a living creating deep and incredibly stunning art. She traveled the world, and met the creator of her favorite song, Perfectly Imperfect.
