Name meaning;;
Ganymede was not named for some months after birth. His mother Caer simply called him "babe", and tottered about with his egg and then later with him curled up in her arms. She lived alone, in a cave hollowed into the side of a mountain, and so he found nothing strange with this existence. There was him, and there was her, and he responded to "babe" as well as any child might heed their name.
When he was nearly six months old Caer lay him down beside her and told him about her own father. She said that Aengus told her many great stories but that one in particular had struck her when she'd been young and foolish, and that had been the story of Ganymede.
"The most beautiful viscet the gods had ever seen," she'd murmured into her son's fur, "So handsome that they'd snatched him from the earth so that they could admire him forever in their home."
Ganymede had looked up at her, his pale eyes so like the slow burn of the stars outside that Caer was seized with a sudden desire to brand her boy with this name, with this story. She leaned down farther until their noses were inches apart and said breathlessly, "You'll be my Ganymede, okay?"
He smiled, closed the distance between their snouts and nipped playfully at her ear to rouse her to laughter. "Okay," he said, bright with a child's innocence and joy. "I'm Ganymede then."
As he grew older his beauty became more and more apparent. There was something in the innate softness of his heart that shone in his eyes, in the supple lines of his muscles and back. There was something about the way he moved, about how he stepped over young plants so he wouldn't crush them, how he would right a flower weighted by morning dew or rain. He was so painfully gentle that sometimes Caer couldn't bear to look at him. She understood the gods a little better then, at seeing something so incredible that she had borne.
When Ganymede began meeting other viscets (the first shaky introduction taking place between him and a fierce-eyed, starry-maned viscet who looked at him with intense eyes) he always told them his name was Ganymede. Usually they would not bat an eye for it, but it was the first's reaction that stuck with him, the tilt to their head, the lift of one corner of their mouth. "Ganymede?" They'd repeated, amused. "Like from the stories?"
Ganymede had been thrilled to hear this and it was his name that sparked a friendship between them. Caer, older now and fragile with age, listened to her son regale her with the story of his new friend when he returned home. He still shone and his eyes glittered more than the sun itself, and she smiled quietly while he spoke, nodded when he pressed a salve to the creak of her arthritic limbs and said, "Thank you, Ganymede."

Name;; Delphine
Gender;; Female
Name meaning;;
The name Delphine is the French derivation of Dolphin as well as part of the name of a flower called delphinium, a bluebell-like flower. This name is also connected to the ancient Greek city of Delphi to help bring some perspective.
Soft. Quiet. Calm.
That's what people think of you.
They think you to be better behaved, sweet and kind, a good girl in every sense in the word. You say nothing to dissuade these assumptions. You rather they find out for themselves soon enough. You're the quiet before the storm, the sigh before the breath. You are not cold.... but you are not warm either. Tranquil is what you're known best to be among your peers. But even your peace breaks and when it does you are listless, merciless, restless. Your peace breaks and you are lost, lost, lost.
For you are not soft. You are kindly to those who deserve it.
You are not quiet. You are rambunctious around those you trust.
You are not calm. You find yourself being the one who needs to be calmed.
They know nothing of you if they think you are simply a "goody-two shoes" as you've had to do things you are not proud of. But you have the ambition. You have the control. You have the self-discipline. You follow the rules because those are what they expect of you, but also because rules are easy to follow. But your ambitions are stronger and one day you will overturn those rules.
One day you will not follow. You will lead.
One day, you hope to discover how to heal.
As of today you are merely the student, but one day, you shall become a teacher.

: Name :
Baldr
His name can be spelled several ways, such as Balder, Baldur or Baldor, but he prefers the spelling above.
: Gender :
Male
: Name Meaning :
Baldr is the Norse God of beauty, innocence, peace, rebirth, love, and forgiveness.
The Viscet's design is very peaceful and harmonious, very soft and pleasing to the eye. I found the God Baldr to be a fitting name choice, as the name matches the designs peaceful appearance.
I went through many lists of Gods and Goddesses from several places and beliefs, but out of the many I found interesting, Baldr was the one I found to be truly fitting.
Will be sticking around to see the last of the adopts I entered for get judged but after that I will be gone.
