Goldfish. Phoenix absolutely loves goldfish. It took him a while to find his favorite snack, since he eats a lot of stuff like chips, brownies, crackers, etc. He loves most snacks, but goldfish is different. It was a snack that he has loved since he was a kid. Phoenix would have to sneakily take the goldfish that his mom hid. The reason being? If he every got his hands on a pack he would eat them so fast that he would feel sick. The taste was like no other. it was so savoury that he couldn't stop eating. You could say he was and still is addicted to it.

As he grew up, he cut down on eating goldfish, but he still eats them. He hasn't been feeling sick lately. When it's the weekend, he has his own movie nights. He has a "secret" snack stash which isn't really secret, it's out in plain sight. It's a bit smaller than a bookshelf and it has a tiny freezer/fridge at the very bottom. Above that, there are five separate shelves to place different kinds of snacks. he has two shelves filled just with goldfish, and the three others with different brands of chips (Doritos, Pringles, Ruffles, etc.), candy (Starburst, Sour Patch Kids, Gummy Worms, etc.), and others (Pocky, Pretzels, Pop-Tarts, and granola bars)!
✦
Another thing Phoenix likes to do is combine goldfish with other things. one of his personal favourites is white bread, turkey slices and goldfish in the middle alongside the turkey. the savouriness of the goldfish combined with the meaty greatness of the turkey makes him drool. he also loves to combine goldfish with different chips (most likely sweet chilli heat Doritos). while at work (as an animator), he usually has the "turkey-goldfish" combo as his lunch alongside some goldfish mixed in with sun chips and doritos.
✦
Overall, Phoenix loves his goldfish just the way it is. it's savoury goodness makes him feel like he is in another world where nothing is impossible and nothing can go wrong.
