TIMER IS TOTALLY WRONG
I had a crap load of chores and let it run through that time and through the whole night //shot

but this guy was supposed to be for April fools day... It's uh... a little late
OH WELL. I'm really proud of them anyway
They have a few edits besides the custom lines
longer tail, longer tail fur, horns, long claws, and they are taller than the average Verklien, around 7'5" when the average height is 6-7 feet. Also they have a little bunny friend
so yeah, this lovely babe is really special

This Verklien is a performer, so for this contest, I would like you to tell what they do and tell what an average show would be like for them. This can be told through art, comics, story ect.

What are they: They are a Magician/acrobat

The verklien enters the circus ring, hat in hand. They take a bow and offer their hat to a younger verklien in the audience, sitting with a human family before climbing up to the highwire. They twitch their long tail, flicking it from side to side thoughtfully while tucking a battered ace of hearts card firmly behind one of their curved horns. Venhella took a slightly hopping step forwards and leaned, landing with their hands on the wire and feet in the air. The audience gasped in anticipation, expecting them to fall. Certain, they would fall. But Venhella didn't. All of the practice and balance let them move step by step on their hands, gripping the wire strongly. About halfway through, it seemed as though they would indeed fall, but after a heart-stopping wobble and release, the powerful tail caught the wire and stopped the performer's brief plummet. A loud gasp of shock, followed by relieved sighs, echoed into the tent from the audience. Venhella grinned at those sitting in the stands, beginning to swing on their tail. Soon they got back up onto the wire. On their feet this time, and continued the performance with twists and spins, able to balance much better than a human. Finishing with a backflip onto the platform, they bowed to the audience and leapt down from the platform; only to vanish moments before hitting the ground in a small poof of smoke. A few audience members screamed with horror, only to see nothing when the smoke cleared...

Darkness fell over the tent. Leaving those within in a place so black they couldn't see their hands an inch from their faces. Panic ensued when something large and soft started climbing over the seats and benches, flicking a fluffy tuft into faces as it went. Soon a single light turned on in the center, and the thing that had been climbing about entered it upright. It was Venhalla, grinning like a loon, having enjoyed doing their job to entertain and horrify. They bowed again, and took a deep breath to announce the end of the show, having been the end of the act.

"I hope you all have enjoyed the show, Please be sure to exit safely when the lights turn on!" The alien's voice carried clearly among the audience as the lights turned back on.


Vehella was brought to Earth as a small child, almost too young to remember. They were a curious little thing, happy to run around and explore with their parent. Mere hours after his arrival on the planet, Venhella met a human magician while investigating a park. The young Verklien was immediately caught up in the man's tricks and begging the human to teach them how. The man, impressed by the alien child's enthusiasm, took on the role of tutor. Venhella proved to be a quick learner and enthusiastic pupil, soon helping the magician with shows and even holding a few shows of their own.

Only a few years after the first meeting between Venhella and the magician, they had to part ways. Venhella went into the circus business to make a name for themselves doing magic and using their unique tail to perform acrobatics. Before the two saw each other for the last time, the magician gave his pupil an ace of hearts card to remember him by. Venhella prizes the card above all else, and considers it their lucky item.


The black bunny is named Soot. They found the bunny as a tiny fluffy baby who had been taken from the nest by a bird of prey and dropped. At first they thought the little thing wouldn't survive, but somehow Soot grew well under Venhella's care. The Verklien hand raised Soot and the rabbit now behaves more like a puppy than a bunny. Soot is a very cuddly bunny who likes to sit and watch television when not being used for trick practice by Venhella. Venhella loves the bunny like family and won't go anywhere without it.

- named its bunny 'Soot' after the soot sprites; thought they looked similar
- most amusing pastime is trying to touch its eyes with its tongue
