4100, humans had finally made contact with aliens. Slightly primitive, these creatures were not what humans expected when they went searching beyond the stars. They proved, however, to be fast learners, and, in a matter of years, human languages and basic technology had become part of these creature's cultures. They called themselves Verkliens. Their planet was called Juda.
What exactly are Verkliens?
Verkliens strongly resemble mammals, but they are not. Despite having fur and being warm blooded, they lay eggs and do not breast feed their young. They are also all agender and are hermaphrodites meaning they have the reproductive organs of both a male and female. They have never used terms such as he and she and will always use the terms it or them, though some have been shown to have more masculine or feminine traits. (one might like flowers and the other might be a warrior.) They also have the ability to reproduce without mating, but seeing as they are very social creatures, they tend not to do this and would rather have a life partner.
All Verkliens have short hair and a mane like patch of fur going from their forehead to their neck (an eternal mohawk guyzzz) and a tuft of fur on their tails. while their main body fur will never reach more than two inches, their mane and tail fur will continue to grow throughout their life (much like a human). Many Verkliens cut their hair pretty short, but some let it grow to obscene lengths.
Velkien markings vary drastically. Most have colors that blend into the world around them, but many others have strange patterns and some odd colors. The limitations to the color combinations are endless. There are many other mutations they tend to have, some of which are uncommon, and some of which are rarely seen.]

The Verklien's culture is so varied it is impossible to keep track of it, on their own, they had plenty of different cultures, but when humans came and introduced so many new things, the cultures became so muddled and confusing, there are really no specific cultures.
Diet
They are mainly carnivores, but very few of them may choose to eat fruits. The ones that do are unable to get the nutrients from meat and are usually very weak and have scragglier coats.
Clothing
Verkliens will wear anything they feel like wearing, from armor, to T-shirts and shorts, to loin cloths and random random stuff they just throw together. Some may even choose to go naked. Many change their styles and accessories often so it's nearly impossible to keep track.
