Charm explanation;; That little gem is a diamond, diamonds are April's birthstone. And he is an April baby, it was a birthday present given to him by his very good friends Terram many, many years ago.

Diego has a good friend- Terram she is a loyal friend that he has known almost his whole life, Terram is like a sister to him. Both, Terram and Diego have animal patterns on them, which makes them think they are related. Terram is the only viscet Diego is friends with too, which makes her his only friend and best friend. If you see Diego anywhere, with anyone, it would most likely be with Terram.

charm;; a small glass vial filled with various colors of stones. liana
earned these when she left her pack and family at the age of three
to explore the world. when she returned after two years, she recited
her tales to the pack elders. for each lesson that she earned, she
received a small, colored stone to put into the empty vial tied to her
tail. below are some of the stones she earned.

red rock -- earned by losing a loved one
liana actually earned this one before she set out on her journey. three days before she left, her
younger brother died due to a falling tree. struck with loss, she decided to put off her journey
until she was sure her family would be fine. her father shook his head and passed her a red stone
to put into the vial, encouraging her to continue on.





blue rock -- earned by learning patience
on her journery, liana had to hunt for herself. when berries and vegetation wouldn't sustain her,
she had to hunt small game. after several failed attempt due to her being much too eager, liana
stopped and waited in the bushes. there she sat for several hours with a rumbling stomach until
a bird hopped close. lunging, she only got his tail feathers, but it was the closest all day. she later
utilized the same technique over her entire journey and remained adequately fed until she
returned home.





green rock -- earned by botanical knowledge
during her travels, liana met many viscets. one of these was noah. he taught her about the plants
of the forest, advising her on which were safe and which were not. liana remained entranced the
entire time, delighted by the facts he gave her. upon leaving, she thanked him profusely and
promised to remember everything. to this day, she keeps her promise, and has passed on her
knowledge to the younger viscets of her pack.





purple rock -- earned by learning respect
while noah taught her how to use parts of nature to her advantage, another viscet taught liana
how to respect everything in the world. from the tiniest ant to the largest stag, keita taught
her to honor the creatures around her. liana also learned to honor the animal she killed, and
to thank it for giving its life to nourish her own. keita's teachings always weight heavily on
liana's mind, and after leaving keita's presence, she made sure to always keep those thoughts
at the front of her mind.





orange rock -- earned by learning to stand up for oneself

after a successful hunting trip, liana was confronted by a much larger, much hungrier viscet then
she. instead of asking to share the meal, he chased her away and took it for herself. since she
was staying in the area for a while, this happened several times. finally, liana grew tired of it
and stood over her meal when he approached again. when he tried to chase her off, she stayed
her ground. deciding against a suddenly not-so-easy meal, the other viscet left her alone.





yellow rock -- earned by finished what she started
upon returning home, liana recited her travels. for each lesson the elders deemed truth, they
passed her a small, solid colored pebble. due to her successfully completing her journey, liana
earned a yellow rock. this stone also signifies that more is to come. pebbles are earned
throughout her life in the pack, not just outside it. liana is eager to earn more by serving her
pack and keeping them safe.

Charm explanation;;
Dryas has always wanted to go exploring, however, she didn't want to leave her
home for fear of never being able to see it and everyone again. So, a couple of
friends got together and made the charm for her out of bits here and there found
in their rainforest homeland dropped by visitors. This makes it possible for Dryas
to be able to take a piece of home with her everywhere she goes. So to Dryas,
each little thing about the charm has it's own little meaning to her.


Charm Meaning to Her;;
The charm reveals Dryas' love for her birth place and all of the things she loves about
it. The night sky is the color of the band and the moon. The tree that of the several
trees. The amazonite, the abundance of water. The Celtic designs revolves around her
tie to nature. The soft leather band itself represents her bond with her friends. The
metal fastenings and rings relate to how strong those bonds are.

The Makings of a Bond;;
Amantius and Ioniza aren't Dryas' only friends, but they are the closet to her and
in many ways more like family. They all met fairly young; alone in the rainforest,
their parents and previous packs vanishing without a trace, each in the most
beautiful and dangerous place for a young viscling. There was no quarreling when
they stumbled upon each other at the same time. Instead, there was a bit of relief
knowing that they were no longer alone.


The Pack;;
Amantius - loving, caring, bit of a worry wort. The male alpha. He encourages
Dryas to do what makes her happy even though he worries for her safty.

Dryas - quiet, observant, stresses about disappointing or hurting the other two
in any way. With Ionzia, she's joint female alpha. Curious about new things, she
has always wanted to explore more. However, she never acted on it for a long
while for two reasons. One was in fear of near being able to return for one reason
or another. The second was she didn't want Amantius and Ioniza to think she
was abandoning them.

Ioniza - energetic, usually acts before fully thinking things through. Joint
female alpha, but beta when Dryas is home. Ioniza hates to see Dryas' want
to explore gnawing at her. Encouraging her to do what makes her happy
makes Ioniza happy in return.


Despite Dryas' exploring, she is still very much a member of the pack as a joint
female alpha with Ioniza. Why that is is that there always needs to be female alpha
when eventually the pack grows. Despite Ionzia's quick action nature, the viscet is
capable of being alpha, though Ioniza prefers to leave that to Dryas when she is
home. Leaving Ionzia as alpha while Dryas is gone isn't too much of a risk either as
she's never gone for too long and stays put for a while before heading back out.
