As of lately, no, he doesn't feel very confident about them.

Why not?:
Dhiren used to feel indifferent about his ears, since no one ever really pointed them out to him. Sure, he got the occasional strange look from other viscets, but for the most part he isn't affected by them. Others' judgement can fly past the heads of any aloof kid. He's been lucky enough to not get bullied over the ears so far, so he doesn't feel too bad for himself. However, one time he saw the movie Dumbo and got to the part where the little elephant got teased for his massive ears. He never got to the ending, and now Dhiren feels a little insecure about his pachyderm-sized ears. As of late, he is trying to feel better about himself, using his ears as a fan and even bragging about how great his hearing is compared to other viscets. He's trying his best to embrace his differences, and with a little encouragement he's bound to find peace with them eventually. Besides, he's going to watch Dumbo again at some point and realize he's okay the way he is, right?

Dhiren was adopted by Carmen in a blur of events that the young viscet cannot remember. Carmen, on the other hand, manages to recall everything, able to size it up into the smallest of details. The date is unforgettable, it was a cold March night, the last night of that month, to be specific.

"I saw the kid, all alone, huddled up in that red blanket of his. It barely covered him, with holes everywhere and all rugged. I wanted to help him, so I got to him, rushed over as quick as I could, checked him out. He looked really cold, pale face, swore his nose looked like it was frozen, the poor boy. Took him in instantly."

Dhiren also has an adopted father, who so happens to be Carmen's mate - Hinae. Dhiren sees Hinae as a very bold and inspiring figure, and while he isn't as close to him as with Carmen, Dhiren still treats him like family. He usually looks to Hinae for advice, seeking words of wisdom from him. Dhiren does not feel different because of him being adopted - he doesn't remember his biological parents anyway. Besides, Carmen and Hinae treat him well, giving him a new red blanket in replacement of his old, rugged one and giving him the cute elephant costume he likes wearing.

Aside from his parents, Dhiren does have the company of his pet crickets. It's an odd choice of pet, but Dhiren doesn't really care. He has a whole terrarium with plants and crickets and all the resources needed for them to live - Dhiren enjoys watching them in the terrarium. He wants to have another type of animal for a pet too, though he's not sure what. Maybe a goldfish, when Hinae thinks he's able to take care of one. Crickets are hard to take care of sometimes, after all. Especially when they're on the loose!

Although he probably won't be getting them as pets, Dhiren absolutely adores small animals. He loves rats and hamsters the most, though he does find kittens and puppies adorable too. He has a few plushies that are cats, and always places them on his bed to hug at night. He gives them individual names and imaginary personalities as well.

Dhiren is a well meaning kid. He's genuine and sweet despite the occasional bitter remark about himself. In general, he acts positively towards others, but gets scared if they lash out at him. He is a bit more sensitive than other viscets.

Why or why not?: Well the reason he likes them is because he can hear from very far away. He can use them as a shield. He can also use them for warmth. But sometimes he just hates his ears and wants them gone! Because other bigger viscets often bully him for looking like a elephant! He always just wants to sink down in a corner and die. People judge him, bully him, and sometimes try and rip his ears off! Even his friends started finding new ones because they dont want a bullied kid on their hands!

Juka has started to use his ears for more things over the years. But since he is PPS, His only friends grow faster than him. Now even more people bully him. He has started to think he should just leave this world.

Name: Tembo [ Means elephant in Swahili ]

Tembo didn't like his ears in the first place but now he doesn't mind them.
Why or why not?:
Well, first of all, Tembo used to Hate his ears. But soon after a great experience he loves them. At first heated his wings because everyone made fun of him, he always felt a little left out and alone. When he was young every kid around would make fun of him and his ears. They would always mistreat him for being the way he was. Tembo always felt alone as if he were just in a bubble that could never pop. AS Tembo got older and older he started hating himself and his ears more and more. He hated everything about himself, he thought that everything everyone said about him was true. But a bit later in his life the show " Dumbo " was recommended to him. He thought that it was just a joke to make fun of him but really, it was to make him feel better. Towards the end he started getting teary eyed and sad/happy because Dumbo was teased like him for his big ears too. Then he went to the viscet that recommended it to him and hugged her. Her name was Terram she was a female fully grown viscet that had animal features just like him. They became extremely good friends and would always hang out. Sometimes they would go on adventures and Terram would tell Tembo how she got bullied when she was younger as well. They were best friends and she taught Tembo how having animal features like his was amazing.

Yes, quite a bit
Why or why not?:
Well, for one thing, they're unique. I mean, yeah, they aren't rare,
but there are more Viscets with rare traits then this - maybe even
with legendary traits! He knows it's not too special, but others
tend to leave him alone about it if he acts proud. He's gotten
good at menouvering around with them, so they don't bother
him at all. Opposed to what you might think, he can't hear any
better then what normal Viscets his age can, or just a little bit.
He kinda thinks they make him look more like a dog then an elephant,
but he doesn't mind when others think of an elephant. He isn't overly
protective of them, and he is a pretty normal and fun Viscet, regardless
of what others might think!
Personality:
Zeerus is an extrovert. He is kind, generous, childish, fun, daring, bold
dramatic, impatient, blunt, awkward, and a little bit dense. He loves
to try new things, although they a rent always good things. He doesn't like
the modern world very much, and would rather spend his time outside
then in some kind of building. He likes video games, but he doesn't play
very often.
Does he like being PPS:
Zeerus doesn't like being a PPS at all! His friends all grow up, and he can't
grow up with them and have fun with them in the same way that they did.
Making new friends has never been his strong spot, so it's always sad when his
other friends grow up and lose interest. He often wishes he could grow up with
them, but he knows he can't. It saddens him to know that eventually, all his
friends and all the Viscets he's met will forget about him, or stop spending time
with him.

Tawi hates her ears.
Why or why not?:
Tawi has many reasons to hate her ears.

Many people call her names, such as Dumbo. They always ask her if she can fly, or atleast hover, if she flicked her ears too much and she always gets hurt. I mean, it's an honour to be recognized as a fantastic Disney character, but that is not who she is. She is Tawi, not Dumbo.

Many Viscets also ask her if she can drink from her nose or if she lives in Africa. What doesn't help is that she is African, causing the words to sting worse than they should.


Tawi can easily be picked out of a crowd due to her extremely large ears. Your eyes can be scanning a crowd and there it is, a extremely small Viscet with huge ears. Sometimes Tawi wants to shrink, hide away, to not be noticed, but it's kind of hard when you have large ears.

Tawi also can't hide. Her ears give her away, poking out someway or another. This is a danger hazard and more wrapped into a bundle. Sometimes Tawi wishes she can just rip off her ears and give them to the many people who admire them.

Tawi likes the ears sometimes, though. When she feels ignored or lost, she can hop into a conversation and immediatly people will pour attention all over her. But that is probably the only reason she likes them.
