why did you chose those traits?
I chose the curled/ram horns and a stub/docked tail because I like how both of them look. I am mainly a sucker for tail drapes, but I also love how the ram horns look, on top of the dock tail. On top of which, I think the two would go together very nicely as they could both be on a hooved animal.

I've been really wanting to have a deer looking baby, it would be so cute! Even with the colors I still think it'd be the cutest thing.

Other than the adorably floofy lion mane edit, the minor mane edit is my favorite trait that a viscet may display. I love the way a mane can become unique or make an art piece look even more expressive. I also find heterochromania unique and interesting on a viscet.

favorite animal; Poision dart frog - colorful, dangerous and beautiful
favorite item; their watch - they'd be lost without it
    favorite food; Most definitely jam
favorite pattern; Probably an enchanting spiral pattern

Poison dart frog. Why is this my favorite animal you ask? To me, it's amazing how such a small, seemingly harmless and innocent creature can be deadly. The magnificent amphibian uses its enchanting spectrum of colors to its advantage. So clever, being able to exploit the natural camouflage that it was born with. It really amazes me how such a small creature is also so fragile and delicate and how the markings and stunning colors could be interpreted either as a warning, or for display. They're so small and precious. I know it seems strange, but they're definitely my favorite animal by far.

My watch. I can't go anywhere without it. A singular silver wrist piece that I'm oddly attached to. It does retain some sentimental value I guess... When I first hatched as a viscling, I explored the forest until sundown. It was a glorious day and the sun was beginning to tire and retreat behind the horizon. The dimming rays reflected off the silver object momentarily. I blinked abruptly. What was it? My inquisitiveness had always been greater than my fear, so I approached immediately. It appeared to blink under the faint light and sat there lazily in the heavy heat. By this point I was sure that I had shifted into the mindset of a magpie, whose only intention was to dig out this rare find. After moments of searching, there it was. A remarkable, yet slightly scratched, silver watch. My paws stretched forwards to touch the unfamiliar metal and I spent that evening under the gentle moonlight attempting to figure out this strange watch. The hand had stopped. I didn't know what it was for anyway. All I did know is that this watch had become my most (and only) treasured possession. Even though the hand appears frozen and it is a little rusty, it means more to me than you'd expect.

Why do I like jam? Jam is wonderful! it comes from a natural, environmentally friendly resource and can come in many different flavours, but my favorite is probably the classical strawberry jam. It is a fresh, sweet treat. It can become a bit of a mess in summer though, as I have found out. One summer, I kept the jam in the sunshine without considering what may happen and therefore I came back to a sweet, sticky mess and a hoard of bumblebees, which I happen to have a slight phobia of. Now in summer, I keep my jam in dark corners of caves, or anywhere that isn't direct sunlight. I prefer seeded to smooth jam, as it gives it a more natural taste and the seeds provide a different texture. Let's move on before I bore you about my love for jam.

Now, spiral patterns. I love the classical black and white swirling patterns. They're hypnotic. Enchanting. If you look at them for too long, they can distort your vision and appear to move mechanically without actually moving. A simplistic, yet ingenious design. If I look at one of these patterns, I can't help staring at them. They're so amazingly fascinating.

Um.. I'll do the rare trait first. Okay, well, I was watching a speed painting on one of my favourite youtubers channels and listening to Hallelujah by Panic! at the disco when I decided I'd just surf the internet, maybe go on pinterest. So that is what I did. For a while I looked at fanart of my favourite book characters and funny book jokes, until I stumbled upon a picture that was not funny even in the slightest. It was a picture of two men in the woods with guns and hunting dogs. It said on the title, "Out Hunting Foxes" and I was horrified! Why would someone want to hurt innocent foxes? Yes they might eat your chickens on your farm, but we kill and eat them as well, it's all for survival!.. And that brings me onto the uncommon trait. Again with pinterest. Scrolling through and I saw a picture of two baby deers, and a mother. The picture was amazing, it was a beautiful sunset, looking onto the hill where the three deers stood. I loved how majestic they looked just standing there, and it was just a beautiful scene in general.

favourite animal; Well, Silva has always had trouble choosing a favourite animal, as she really loves them all. If she had to pick, she'd choose either a fox or a deer.
favourite item; Through her many items, her favourite is probably her woodland blanket, which she takes almost everywhere
favourite food; Well, she loves raspberrys, strawberrys and blackberrys, as well as cashew nuts.
favourite pattern; Light Spots
--
why are those his/her/their or your favourite? :
She chose deer and foxes because she felt that she could relate to them, that she wasn't the only one that looked like she did. She didn't like the way all the other viscets had long tails, or stubby tails, and none seemed to have antlers, but she really connected to these two animals because they were like her. She wasn't alone, and that is all that mattered to her. Well, actually, she also had a different reason for each as well as the one that linked them to her. For the deer, she was entranced by the way it moved, the way it was so graceful and majestic. She always wished she could one day be so amazing. For the fox, she just fell in love with the colours and the beautiful soft coat of fur it had. It was so amazing for her to watch it as it hunted, and she loved the general cuteness of the little hunter.

She chose the blanket as her favourite item as it was a gift to her from her parents, and it reminds her of them everyday. It is soft and warm, and makes her fell safe, and as well as that, the warm wood-like smell makes her think of her happiest times. It holds a lot of sentimental value for her for that reason, along with a few others.

Her favourite foods are her favourite for many a reason. She loved the berries for the taste, and their colour. The shades of red and pink, and the dark purple just looked amazing. The juicy, sweet and sour soft berries instantly became a favourite. Cashews are a favourite because of the texture and taste. A nice crunch yet a lovely nutty taste. She finds them easier to find then most nuts as well, which works in her favour!

The light spots took first place as her favourite pattern because of the way they dance across the surface of the water. She loved the reflections they gave and all the pretty colours that made them up. Whether it was yellows and oranges or pinks, she loved them all. Small lights were preferred, but she likes the bigger lights as well.

∴Personality∴
Her primary mode of living is focused internally, where she deals with things according to how she feels about them, or how they fit into her personal value system. She is an idealist and a perfectionist, who drives herself hard in her quest for achieving the goals she has identified for herself. She rely's heavily on her intuitions to guide her, and use her discoveries to constantly search for value in life. She is on a continuous mission to find the truth and meaning underlying things. Every encounter and every piece of knowledge gained gets sifted through her value system, and is evaluated to see if it has any potential to help her define or refine her own path in life. Generally thoughtful and considerate, she is a good listener and puts people at ease. Although she may be reserved in expressing emotion, she has a very deep well of caring and is genuinely interested in understanding people. She can be quite warm with people she knows well. She does not like conflict, and goes to great lengths to avoid it. If she must face it, she will always approach it from the perspective of her feelings. In conflict situations, she places little importance on who is right and who is wrong. She focuses on the way that the conflict makes her feel, and indeed doesn't really care whether or not she is right. She doesn't want to feel badly. This trait sometimes makes her appear irrational and illogical in conflict situations. She is flexible and laid-back, until one of her values is violated. In the face of her value system being threatened, she can become an aggressive defender. She does not like to deal with hard facts and logic. Her focus on her feelings and the Human Condition makes it difficult for her to deal with impersonal judgement. She doesn't understand or believe in the validity of impersonal judgement, which makes her naturally rather ineffective at using it. Under stress, it's not uncommon for her to mis-use hard logic in the heat of anger, throwing out fact after (often inaccurate) fact in an emotional outburst. She has very high standards and is a perfectionist. Consequently, she is usually hard on herself, and doesn't give herself enough credit.
