Iris was born and raised in a happy family. When she was little she discovered that she had the power to create rainbows by bending light. She was walking in the forest and stopped at a riverbed to get a drink. It was very sunny outside and the light was reflecting beautifully off the water. She was staring at the water, thinking how beautiful it was, when a rainbow reflected off the water and shine across the stream. Iris focused on the rainbow and it stretched longer and longer. Her parents loved to see her make rainbows. It brought them great joy! Her parents have passed away of old age now, but she knows they are in a better place, and she is happy for them.
She loves nature and its beautiful colors and is very curious about, well...everything! Her favorite place is a small grassy clearing in the middle of the forest. The light shines through onto the ground, so there are lots of flowers and it's a great place to practice making rainbows! At night, she can lay on the grass and look at the stars.
Iris's wonderfully positive attitude tends to rub off on others. However, she can also be a bit of a trickster who loves to play pranks! Seriously, you might want to keep your distance from her on April Fool's Day. Her favorite prank is to fill a blow up pool with icy cold water and put it on the ground beside her friend's bed. Then she'll blow a foghorn and and her friend will wake up and roll over into the icy cold water. Don't worry though! Afterwards Iris will make a piping hot cup of cocoa for you!
