"Feathers? I like them alot...falcon feathers especially because falcon feathers are
the symbol of freedom. I'm determined to be strong and lead you all as a leader
you all would look up to as a friend and a guide."

She was born different with a gift to read the wind but was still loved by her
parents and accepted by all. She learned of the goddess Systia after asking her
parents about a statue. She grew to love the lore of the goddess as Systia
represented wings, freedom, and healing. As a viscling she was taken by
creatures of the dark and was a caged bird for a long time. During those times
she would secretly thank the goddess for not getting mortal or crippling injuries
for she was used for purposes of dark magic. One day, a viscet came with a
heavenly wind that soon followed and set her free along with other trapped
creatures. The wind seemed so divine as it purged the dark magic that plagued
the land she had been imprisoned in. Then she felt a warm sensation on her back
then the next thing she knew, she had wings. Not knowing how to use them she
ran til she got tackled in a forest into a mirror which she was trapped in. Confused
and scared she heard a voice.

"What do you want? Your trespassing my personal space"
Scared and afraid she called out," I was just running away from an awful place, I
did not mean to invade your personal space."

"Huff, you have wings right? Why don't you just fly?"
She felt rather insulted and retorted , "I would if I could! Like you could fly either!"
From a mirror a strange wolf-like creature stepped out into view and watched her
silently. "Someone like you with wings can't even fly....that's rather rich."
"I'm not joking, what do you plan on doing with me? Eat me? Sell me to more bad
creatures?" She was scared and didn't know what was going to happen.
The wolf stood there silently gazing at her with a rather grumpy yet stoic face. All
of a sudden she tumbled into the ground and realized that she was no longer trapped
in a mirror. She looked up at the wolf who was already padding away.

"W-w-wait!" She cried out, "Where are you going?"

"Follow me if you truly desire to fly, lover of wind. I am not an enemy." The wolf
replied mysteriously. She was unsure of what to do but was determined to find out
as there was a chance that she would be able to fly and find her home or a new pack.

This is a title she was given by the viscets in her former pack before she joined
Wynsdrrawr and Hollow's pack and became alpha there. The title wasn't because
she was able to read and predict the wind but because she loved the wind and it
seemed to favor her. The viscets joked that the wind seemed to love her so much
as if she were it's child. It has stuck ever since and she doesn't mind it whenever
someone refers to her with that title or calls her "Wind Child".

Magical blue crystal-like beaded necklace/choker with a smooth stone dragonfly

Wryn is pretty level-headed and sometimes will joke around and have fun. She's
mostly grumpy and not one for jokes and goofing off with others especially since
she is the alpha of her pack and if she is always silly then she won't be able to work
together with her pack.

Wryn is terrified of dark magicians because of how they used things from her to use
spells with and even used her as a test subject after. Stage magicians kind of make
her nervous since she doesn't understand that they're party tricks and partial
psychologists. Wryn is also afraid of cramped closed spaces because it reminds her
of when she was caged in her past.

Singer of Spirit (Sing)
Wryn's best friend and animal companion. Sing is a shaman of a tribe flock of
Greater Spinneret's that Wryn has become allies with. They're always together no
matter what so they're practically inseparable. Sing is usually perched on Wryn's
head or is sitting on her back. Sing helps give advice to Wryn whenever she has
trouble with organizing everyone's daily duties or when negotiating with others.
Soul Wisps (Wisp)
Wisp is a mysterious magical dragonfly that looks different than a normal
dragonfly. Not mainly because she is blue but because of the display of aura he has
and how crystal like he appears to look and some other physical features. Like Sing,
he's very close to Wryn and serves as her emotional support and her little light guide
when it is dark.

Hollow
Hollow sees Free as someone to respect and not goof off around. He shares the
strong love for feathers in common with her, he gets scolded a little by her
whenever he shirks his duties.
Wynsdrrawr
Wynsdrrawr respects Free and often helps Free alot since Free has little experience
being a leader of the pack. They go out sometimes to gather herbs in the mountains
and Free helps Wynsdrrawr harvest some of the herbs that she cannot reach by herself.
TimeTrap
They both are grumpy so as a inside joke they are referred to as the grumpy squad.
TimeTrap was the one who taught Wryn how to fly despite of how he "flys" and what
he is. He is gruff and a bit cold towards Wryn but in a way they both have learned to
accept each other for who they were on the inside.
Ren
Wryn is usually wary around Ren due to his clashing personas but they're pretty
good friends and she's able to keep him in check. Grumpy as he is she doesn't mind
since she's a bit grumpy herself and can keep a cool head.
Amadeus
Amadeus likes to think he and Wryn get along quite well. He's known her for
several years now, and she is one of his favorite customers. He loves to design
intricate jewelry for her. Most of the pieces she wears have been fashioned by his
paws. Plus, she too loves to collect feathers and they always have that to talk about.

Falco is a very wise philosopher. He doesn't participate in many physical activities, but does have a few quiet hobbies. He loves to write, especially poetry. He gets inspiration from the world around him, and puts it all down on paper. This is a haiku he wrote after soaring through the sky on his daily flight:

He also loves to read. He doesn't care what genre it is as long as its a book. Books are where he gets a lot of his inspiration for writing.

And, of course, Falco loves flying. Most creatures take walks, but not Falco. He takes flights. That is what he has decided to call them. He loves soaring up high, the wind flowing through his feathers.

He wears glasses, but only when he reads and writes. Since he loves to read so much, he always carries a brown leather satchel with him, and it always has at least one book in it.

-Adaptable:

Alouetta has to deal with many changes in her life, and
she's gotten used to it. She can easily adjust her habits
and actions to match what goes on around her whether
her method of finding food, to even the position she
sleeps in. She's able to do it efficiently and whenever
needed and has no problem moving from one place to
another.

-Stolid:

Allie can stay calm at even the most painful moments
of her life. She's dependable and loyal to her close friends
and doesn't overreact in unfortunate situations. This
also means she's hard to prank and is also quite difficult
to have fun with.

-Unctuous:

Alouetta's eager to please, and would do anything to
gain someone's approval. She doesn't do this out of
her good will, though. She wants herself to be held
highly in other viscet's minds, granting that she has
an advantage over her peers.

-Cynical:

Alouetta does for the benefit for herself, not others.
Even though they don't know, she really only performs
good acts to gain the approval of others, and will
stop at any given moment if that is achieved. She
tends to question the motives of others and enjoys
opposing authority.

-Tactless:

Alouetta, though knowledgeable in many topics, is
helpless at emotional affairs. She has never
experienced these things and tends to avoid
conversations involving them as much as possible.
She doesn't usually provide good advice, and those
who take it seriously may be led astray.

Alouetta, running away from her abusive father with her mother,
had to endure many obstacles. Her mother was quite cold of and
didn’t have as much empathy as most other mothers. After crossing
the English Channel three years after they left, they arrived at their
new home. She was overjoyed, but only just right after that, her
mother had her learn about her past. She turned out to be a demon,
one who was born solely for the role of choosing who lives and who
died. She accepted quickly, getting used to the customs her mother
taught her. She, when she grew up, moved out to make friends. She,
though a bit unused to society, made some much-needed companions.
She returned of course, and began her duty of being an ellyll.

✔ Chicken. The first time she had it, she fell in
love with it immediately.

✘ She hates potatoes. it was the only thing she had to eat for months on end,
and the dull flavour just doesn't suit her tastes.

✔ Eye-catching colours, such as light blue, tend to be her favourite colours. She
especially prefers neon orange but doesn't really know why.

✘ Beeping noises irritate her, resulting in her dislike of them. She scorns
repetitive sounds in the main and is easily annoyed with tapping.

✔ Flowers, especially wildflowers, were a big part of her life. It was all she had to
entertain herself when her mother would be off gathering food.

✘ Along with her hate of repetitive noises, she also abhors loud noises. When she
boarded the ship to go across the English Channel (going from the Alps to England),
they scared her. She's never liked them since.

✔ Alouetta likes to have time to herself. Sometimes, she can be overwhelmed by others
and needs to have time to cool off and think.

✘ She is quite annoyed with minor cuts. They annoy her more than most others, she
doesn't really like being hurt.

Collar with two gold beads -
This is the mark that she, Alouetta, has accepted her
duty as an Ellyll. The two beads indicate what level
she is, and how much she's capable of doing. It's also
what gives her powers, without it, she can't do her job.
She's can't lose it, though if it somehow falls off of her.
It always appears back on her neck a few moments
later, but she can move the collar around.

Toeless Socks -
Alouetta fashioned these out of a pair of nylon gloves
she found on the streets. Her mother taught her how
to upcycle old clothing, and her feet were getting
tired of the rough terrain. The rocks where she lived
put a lot of strain on her paw pads, and this was the
best solution she could find.

Erato was the first viscet Alouetta met when she left home. They encountered each
other at the local library when she decided to check out one of them. Alouetta
bumped into Erato, literally, knocking over a cart of books with her wings. She
didn't really understand why Erato became so angry but offered to help her. They
learned much about each other later that day, like how Erato volunteers at the
library they met at. She gave a tour of the cities in England to Alouetta, and
they became close friends.

She's a nice girl. Erato seemed a bit shy compared to the rest of my friends though I'm
quite sure that's just her. She's helpful and kind and seems to know a lot about English
cities.

Altan, being one of the weirdest viscets out there, was playing around in a fountain when
Alouetta saw him. She came over to ask why, but Altan ran away before she could speak.
She never really knew Altan until later that day, when they came across each other at
the local KFC. Altan offered to buy Allie a bucket of chicken, as an apology for running
away. They were submerged into a very interesting conversation, where, as Alouetta did
with Erato, they learned a lot about each other. Altan invited her to stay at his den for
that night, which was when she met Maizey.

He's certainly very weird. I mean, he does have a sort of charm to him, but he acts quite odd
around other viscets. Especially females, from what I've seen.

Maizey was pretty unhappy when Altan invited Alouetta into her home. She didn't
want any visitors, and Altan just keeps letting people into her den. When she found out
about Alouetta's past, however, she became more accepting. She taught Alouetta how
to survive out in the city on her own, and provided for her for the next few days. Erato
came to see her, as she was a regular at Maizey and Altan's house. They all bonded,
and when Alouetta decided to head home, they were crestfallen.

She's really nice. She taught me how to make tea with flowers, something I never knew. And I've
lived near flowers my whole life! Though my mom probably won't let me, maybe I'll go
back someday.

Max had gotten lost on a tour of Pennine Hills. Alouetta's mother had found him
wandering around, and offered to house him for a while. Alouetta was a bit
suspicious of Max, seeing that he had little to no survival skills, and thought he
was weak. However, when she learned more about him, she began to warm up
to him. He wasn't as bad as she thought, and they were good friends for a while.
Then, when the next tour group came, he had to leave.

He's a nice kid. Honestly, he was actually timider that Erato. He didn't seem to
know that much and acted kind of dumbfounded. He knows a lot more than you'd think.

Woah, what are those things? Do they work?

When I met Deimos, he was pretty weary of me at first, but my wings seemed to draw him out of hiding. He asked several questions about them before I was able to, with some prodding, get him to willingly go on a flight with me. He wasn't too heavy, though he was heavier than a viscling, which makes sense. When I took flight however, the poor Viscet froze up in fear and stayed that way until his paws were back on the ground. He's a real sweet heart, though, and I enjoyed our encounter very much.
