Ok, so between mine and Mint's designs, this is the third (and last) of the CNY viscets, and the most... odd lol
It was made to resemble a dragon since most people associate CNY with dragons generally.
This will be an "Impress Me" style competition, so it's anything goes.

• Personality •
Ryuu believes in karma. He knows others will get what they deserve,
soon or later. Ryuu is a hero among the others, and will fight for what others believe
in. He tends to be very ambitious. He is driven, unafraid of challenges, and he is
willing to take risks. Ryuu will often struggle with romance until he feels more
stable in his life. Otherwise, the influence of someone else can feel overwhelming
and make it difficult for Ryuu to settle down or avoid conflict. Ryuu tends to approach
problems head on and normally leaves them with a few new wounds. He's a protector
of his and everyone's rights, and will do whatever he can to do to keep everything as it is.
Ryuu likes to be greedy with gems and gold related items, despite being against greedy
others. He tends to hate this and will still be greedy, taking gem or gold related things
when he can. Ryuu is also pretty much insane, this is what drives him to be a pyromaniac.
Ryuu is also a very overly cranky male, and tends to stay away from others, not wanting to
be annoyed. He'll only search out the comfort of the Viscets he actually likes when he's in
a mood like this. Ryuu is very intelligent, none the less, and loves doing paws on stuff. He's
an inventor and loves to build anything he can think of. Ryuu only cares for close family and
friends, and these are the ones he will search out in times of need. Despite most of the negatives,
Ryuu does have positive traits. He's a softy for Visclings and females. Ryuu is also very intelligent,
as stated above. He knows a lot, about, a lot, really. He could answer about any question you
ask him, but he tends not to let his "geek" side out. Ryuu is also very protective of any one close
to him, and will protect them until his very last breath if he needed to.

The egg wobbled. A female Viscet leaned forward, sniffing gently at the cracking shell. The father watched from a distant, lowered so he was eye level with the egg. The egg wobbled again, before a tiny male Viscling rolled out. His mother gasped as she saw the mane, which was spiky then a normal Viscet’s. Her eyes wandered to the wee little horns jutting from the Viscling’s head.
“He’s adorable.” The mother declared softly after a while, the father relaxing. He got up, nuzzling his new son on the back. This caused the Viscling to squeak out loudly and fiercely.
“Ah, a fighter.. Just want we need.” The father chuckled quietly, looking at the small Viscling. He reminded both parents of a dragon, and before the father could speak, his mate said suddenly,
“Let’s name him Ryuu.” She tugged their baby to her, nuzzling and grooming the newly hatched Viscling. Her mate nodded, watching over his family, settling down near by. The Viscling soon was stumbling around aimlessly, sniffing and squeaking angrily at anything he ran into. The parents chuckled the whole time as he did. Ryuu’s father would have to get up and return the rambunctious little scamp back to the nest, much to Ryuu’s distaste.

A few days past, and his parents were traveling once more. Ryuu was snuggled in his dad’s mane, staring at everything that passed by. Huge trees, little trees. Fruit trees, nut trees. A long winding river snaked beside them, Ryuu thought his parents were racing the swift current. Clouds hung in the sky, the sun brightening the land in it’s warmth. His mother stayed behind his father, his mom looked weak. She was getting sick, and wasn’t telling either of them. She could barely keep down any food or water, and was extremely light headed. Her heart beating fast to keep her alive. Ryuu looked back at her and smiled big at her, and giggled as she made a silly face in return. His father soon slowed to a halt as they approached their next location, a small Viscet town. His mother stumbled to a stop beside her mate, eyes blurry with sickness.
“Are you alright?” His father questioned, concerned. His mate just responded with a nod, her nose twitching before she wiped it with the back of her paw.
“Daddy! Mommy! What are those?” Ryuu lifted his paw, lanterns were tied to posts in the town, paper mache dragons that had no wings were hanging from roof ledges. Foreign letters were painted on red and gold strips of paper. His father blinked,
“Those are decorations for Chinese New Year, Ryuu.” His dad explained. Chinese New Year? That sounded like something fun to Ryuu.
“What’s Chinese New Year?” Ryuu asked as his parents trotted into the town. Neither responded, which upset him a little. An important looking Viscet soon was leading them to a hotel like cave, letting them find a vacant nest inside a smaller cave that branched off the main cavern. Ryuu’s father watched worriedly as his mate plopped down slowly into the nest, instantly dozing off. His father settled Ryuu down next to Ryuu’s mommy’s side before he curled around the two, keeping a paw over his mate’s heart.

Ryuu was awoken by nudging. He didn’t hear what his father asked frantically before his father took off. Ryuu lifted his head tiredly, before stumbling after. Where was his mother? Her familiar scent was faint now in the cave, her warmth gone. He tiredly followed his frantic father, trying to find his mother. Ryuu soon saw her by a willow tree, and bounded to her. She was laying over the roots, not moving. He snuggled against her chest fur,
“Mommy?” Ryuu murmured tiredly, looking up at her. He frowned when he got no response. He nudged her cheek fur, and whimpered nervously. He shook as he saw she didn’t respond, turning as he heard his father rush over. His father tensed, and closed his eyes, shaking his head,
“No.. Why?” He nudged Ryuu away, not concerned about his son right now. Ryuu’s dad placed his nose against his mate’s neck and looked down, tears slipping off his nose. He soon had Ryuu’s mother buried right there, placing a couple small rocks on the head of the grave.
“D-Daddy.. w-why didn’t she wake up?” Ryuu whimpered, the poor Viscling unaware his mother was gone. His father didn’t respond, slumped by the mound of dirt. He soon turned, and stumbled off to the cave they had stayed out, unable to understand what had happened to his mate. Ryuu hesitated, staring after his father before he curled around the small pile of rocks at the head of the mound. It was still dawn, the clouds overhead swirling slowly before rain began to beat down on the ground, turning the dirt to mud. Ryuu curled closer to the rocks, shaking in the cold breeze and spray of rain. He hunched farther into himself, tears mixing with the rain.

Ryuu had been laying there for days, now dehydrated and hungry. His eyes were crusted shut from dried mud and tears. He flinched closer to the rocks as he heard something approaching him. Teeth clamped around his scruff and he was lifted. Ryuu thought a wolf had found him, and he was gonna be dog meat. His ear was pressed close to the chest of this creature, he could hear the calm beating. Ryuu, not caring if this thing would eat him, he pressed as close as he could as the creature carried him by the scruff. Ryuu was calmed by the heartbeat, paws in it’s chest fluff. When he finally was able to open his eyes, he could see a female Viscet was carrying him. He struggled suddenly, crying out,
“Mommy!” He wanted to be with his mom again. The female settled him down, curling around him after awhile. He cried, shaking against the female’s side, paws clenching her paw. Ryuu tensed as she began grooming the dried mud off his fur, and he looked up at her with wide eyes. The female was busy cleaning him, eyes gentle as she did. He soon crawled into the fluff of her chest fur, shaking. He cried himself back to sleep, feeling the female settle her paws around him. Ryuu dozed off, head slumping against his own chest as he did, he dreamed of his parents.

Ryuu lifted his head from his paws. The full grown stretched his paws out and let out a loud yawn, jaw cracking as it widened. He shook his head, majestic mane shaking above. He stood up slowly, and trudged to the outside of his cave. The sunlight glared into his eyes, causing him to squint his eyes. Ryuu’s slit pupils were thin was toothpicks as he got use to the light. The heat outside was horrific, instantly making Ryuu sweaty and uncomfortable. His fur dampened to his body as the heat intensified as he wandered further into the land. He looked relieved as he saw the river, and groaned as he noticed it was just enough water for him to dip a claw in. Ryuu lowered his head and lapped the little pool of water up, before standing up. He turned his head, dragon like nostrils twitching as he smelled smoke from near by. His pupils dilated, and he raced off to find the source of the smell. Ryuu stopped as he saw the source, little flames were licking at a bush, eating up the leaves slowly. Ryuu grinned, grabbing a leaf before he hurried off as carefully as he could. The flames licked close to his face, the flames fascinating. Ryuu dropped the leaf in tall grass and blew on the flames gently. As soon as they touched the dry grass, it blew up in flames. Ryuu stepped back, and grinned darkly as he saw. He let out low laughs,
“Yes! Fire! Burn!” Ryuu cackled, ears perked up at the sound of the dried grass crackled and popped with the flames.

• Hobby/Occupation •
Ryuu "works" as a Teller. He can tell upcoming horrific
events, because of this, others refer to him as The Teller.
Normally, others will come to Ryuu and ask him if they have any
dangerous, horrific events coming up. Most think it's superstition,
but Ryuu tends to get "flashes" of the future, dangerous ones. So,
he uses this for good and tells others to avoid whatever was causing
the danger.
For his hobby, when he's not burning stuff with fire, Ryuu is either found
hoarding gems/gold or blowing glass. He loves how calm it is to blow
glass, and loves making majestic masterpieces. Ryuu will spend hours
on end making something for his pack, well, only the pack members
he likes. Ryuu will make vases, ornaments, and even will make animal
figurines. He tends to make every glass-blown object dragon themed.
From dragon animal figurines, to dragons flying on vases and ornaments.
Ryuu just absolutely loves spending his day working on glass
objects, forming and molding them to whatever his mind desires.


• Relationships •
Autumn //
"Eh, Autumn's pretty cool, I guess. She's so quiet and barely talks.. It's weird.
She's always busy with her mate and Visclings, so, we barely travel. Autumn
is like, a mother more than a friend. She always cares about you and not herself,
which would get her into a lot of trouble, I guess. But in all, I can tolerate her.
What I like the most about her is she likes to tell stories about her past. It's fun
hearing about someone that isn't a jerk. It would be cool to be her Viscling, she
seems like an awesome mother. Did I mention I love listening to her stories? I could
sit all day with her, listening to whatever story she has to tell. Autumn must've traveled
a lot, because she knows a lot of stories that are very interesting. Autumn's a cool
gal, and I really love her like a mother. I hope nothing bad ever happens to her."

Bukimina //
"Oh, him? Bukimina? I despise him. I hate his personality. He's wayy too
playful and spontaneous. It kinda makes me sick, to be honest. If he
weren't so hyper and stuff, I would be able to tolerate him a little.
Bukimina does make nice jokes though, and he's fun to be around when
the mood is silly. I mean, I like jokes, but sometimes Bukimina's jokes
are a little too annoying for me. He'd be cool if he wasn't so hyper and
bouncy, but he has ADHD, which explains it most of the time. Eh, I just
don't really get along with this dude. He's got something more about him
that I just don't like. Honestly, I really don't like Bukimina being around
me. He's just so annoying. He's got cool looks, but Bukimina tends to be
really annoying for some reason... Maybe it's just because I'm always so
grumpy... Well, I just don't like this male."

Saturn //
"Ugh. Saturn. I hate him. He's way too full of his looks and himself.
It's a little disgusting, to be honest. Saturn is way too much of a snob and
it kinda throws me off with him. He's a little like Bukimina when you meet
him, and that makes me think he's two-faced. Saturn has a daughter, and
I mean, that's cool, his daughter's cool. Anyways, Saturn acts way too full
of himself and just so snobby sometimes, it makes me wanna bust his face
on a rock, but I probably shouldn't. He seemed like a cool guy, and all, but..
I mean, if he weren't so vain and snobby, I could get along with him. Oh, did
I mention Saturn was greedy?"

Cordelia //
"Cordelia's a little too classy for me. I like how outspoken she is, and I don't
mind what she says. Like, it's nothing mean, she just says the first thing on
the top of her mind. Cordelia's also quiet and barely talks, which is off putting
but she can be very talkative. I like how positive she is because it tends to
lift everyone's spirits when she does. I like her and her mate, they're both
super cool. I definitely get along with Cordelia most of the time, and I love
just chatting with her about whatever. It's like having the sister I've always
wanted, basically."

Electra //
"Electra? Oh, she's pretty cool. I like her, we get along just fine. She may be a little
rude at times, but that's fine with me. Electra is like, the biggest Pokemon nerd
once you get to know her, and it's cool! I like hanging around her, and it seems
like she likes to hang around me. Electra tends to chill with me, and will most of the
time. I don't know why? I'm fine with it, definitely. She's so cool to be around. I definitely
bring out a different side of her, which is weird for the both of us. Electra's told me she's
never acted like she does around me, she said I bring out the real side of her. She just
explains it's because how open I am to her and how easy it is to talk to me. Which is
cool, I don't mind. I like being around Electra."

Cressida //
"Despite Cressida being Saturn's daughter, I like her. She's so different from her parents,
and it's nice to see some Viscets like her parents make something sweet like her. I like
her, and we get along sometimes. She always draws me stuff with berry juice, and she's
a really nice artist. I also like her items, because gold. I tried to take them once from her
and she almost stabbed my eye out. Which she hasn't stopped apologizing about, but I don't
mind. It was Cressida's stuff and I totally understand why she almost impaled my eye. Cressida's
also really nature-y and I like listening to her go on and on about the outside world."

Mirabelle //
"Mirabelle is a really awesome Viscet. I love how positive and upbeat she is. Mira's always
telling every to "Just keep swimming," which is nice. It lets others know they should
keep on going in life. Mira's really protective, and will do about anything to keep
our pack safe, which I like, but I'm kinda scared for her because she'll throw herself
in front of anyone to keep us safe. I like Mirabelle, we do really get along. She
likes to chat on and on about certain things. She has short-term memory loss, which
sucks, and she'll pause mid-sentence and ask what she had been talking about.. I found
it upsetting because she doesn't deserve to forget things."

Ryuu stirred from the mounds of gold and gems in his cave. He stretched out, blinking his eyes open as a few gems tumbled down the piles of gold. His hind leg that he had broken when he was younger, was tingling.
“Oh great.. Not again..” Ryu scoffed as he felt, flexing his toes on that leg. Whenever his leg tingled like this, it mostly met trouble was soon to come. Standing up, Ryuu climbed down the pile of gold and gems. He stepped onto what little cave floor was visible, and limped outside. His leg was sore, tingling more with every step. Ryuu looked around suspiciously, taking in everything around him. Ryuu snorted lowly, and limped as he walked. He was annoyed now with the tingling in his leg, his tail lashing as he limped. Ryuu sniffed at the air for any scent of trouble. Nothing. Ryuu flexed his claws and grumbled.
“Stupid leg. There’s nothing aroun-” Ryuu was cut off as something barreled into him. It snarled and bit at his face. Ryuu lashed his claws out at it’s face, tearing the wolf’s nose wide open. It howled in pain, shaking it’s head and splattering blood everywhere around the two. Ryuu gave a low bellow and lunged forward, teeth gnashed and claws out. The wolf stumbled backwards before lunging forward, fangs digging into Ryuu’s shoulder. It was Ryuu’s turn to howl in pain. His tail whipped to the side before slamming into the wolf. The wolf was sent flying into the ground near by, rolling. Ryuu flinched, flenching his shoulder before charging at the wolf in rage. His pupils were slivers now, his lips pulled up in a snarl. The wolf turned and charged as well, tongue lolling out of it’s mouth before the two collided. Ryuu tore at it’s back as they rolled on the ground, the other trying to take advantage of the other.
When the battle was over, the wolf had been defeated. Ryuu panted, standing over the body, which he dragged off to eat later. Ryuu limped to his cave with the body on his strong back, and laid it behind the mounds of gold and gem. Ryuu kicked it as he dropped it, glaring at the body as he panted. He climbed back up to his nest of gold and gems he had made at the top of the bigger mound, which he curled into relax.

• Life Quote •
"As a single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single
thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path,
we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over
and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives."
-- Ryuu loves this quote, it's very deep and meaningful to him. Ryuu thinks that
this quote shows the truth of what a thought can do. He thinks only positive
thoughts should be thought over and over again so the mental path it leaves
in someone's mind is deep.

• Biggest Fear •
Ryuu's biggest fear is everyone leaving him. He loves his closest friends,
and some of his pack, to death. He would be devastated if they left him. It
might be from the fact his parents died when he was a young age, and he's afraid
of everyone leaving him again, but Ryuu would be so... depressed if everyone just
finally left him. Ryuu will sometimes pray at night for the others to still be alive
and like him the next day, just so they would. So far, everyone still loves him like
they were all one big family. Ryuu doesn't mind this, as he finally has the family
of his dreams.

For almost three months now, Ryuu had been a part of the Blackwood Pines Viscet pack. They resided up high on a snowy mountain, living in this huge cavernous cave underground. Right now, he was standing on a rock that faced the world. The wind whipped his mane around, snow blasting against his face. He didn’t care. He was use to it now. Ryuu grinned over his shoulder to the female Viscet he had grown to, Electra was her name. Electra laughed,
“Dude! You’re insane!” She looked stoked, eyes wide with anticipation. The female’s fingerless gloves blending in with her fur and the snakebite piercings were glinting in the faint light. Ryuu laughed, nodding.
“Yea , I am!” He stretched out the leather bat like wings attached to his front legs. He then turned back to the view, grinning madly. He tugged the steampunk like leather glasses over his eyes, before he jumped. Electra gasped and ran to the side to watch, suddenly very worried. She instantly laughed and cheered as the wind blew Ryuu upwards, he shot up over the land. His front legs spread, the wind carrying him because of the leather bat like wings.
“This is so awesome!” Ryuu howled happily, banking to the right. He laughed, the wind carrying him higher, before suddenly he was diving downwards.
“Ryuu!” Electra cried out as she saw, unable to do anything. She perched on the edge of the rock, and suddenly Ryuu crashed into her. They barreled head over tails right into a bank of snow. Ryuu fell backwards, dazed before he laughed.
“Woah! That was so cool!” Ryuu grinned and sat up, shaking his mane free of clumps of snow. Electra sat up, and grinned widely,
“Yea it was!” Electra laughed, and the two high-fived, both Viscets standing up. They headed back to the cave to tell the story of how the Dragon had his first flight.
