~Leather bag with gang emblem on it. Bag is filled with first aid supplies, extra clothes, a blanket, spare toys, canned foods and some hygienic supplies.

To go a little deeper into what the items are used for....
Axel is a domesticated Viscet, thus the collar and identification tag. He was actually a rescue. Rescued by the same group which he now works with. Axel belongs to a biker, who is part of a very large biker gang/organization which specializes in rescuing abused children and animals. The goggles he wears are for eye protection when he rides in the side cart of his owners motorcycle. The tail stud is used both in defense as well as offense. Sometimes the abusers of children or animals feel the need to retaliate. This is where the Vest comes in as well as the tail stud. The vest is filled with kevlar, the same material that fills police officers bullet proof vests. The vest is worn tightly from neck down over Axels body to about his hips. This gives his vital organs protection from bullets. The tail stud can be used to knock an attacker down, or sometimes, out. It is also good when his owner needs to break into a car to rescue a child or animal that has been left inside on a hot or freezing day. The tail protected with a small elastic band under the stud to keep it from being cut when breaking glass. His collar is for identification purposes, mostly, the ear cuffs being for style. the backpack he wears is large, even for a viscet. But it is due to what is inside. All manner of items are carried within to assist on their daily outtings, from canned foods to hand out to the homeless, to blankets, first aid supplies, bottled waters, hygienic supplies, extra clothes, and toys. Some of these are just given out when needed, others are used when needed.
-A little about Axel-
Axel, as mentioned, was rescued. Though his treatment early on could have easily made him afraid, or hateful, towards humans, this was quickly changed the moment he met 'Doc'. Doc's real name is actually Robert, but everyone calls him Doc, due to his role in the gang. Doc is your typical bad boy motorcyclist, leather everywhere, massive beard, tattoos, shades, bandanna. A man that, with one look, most would not choose to cross. So, it was strange that such a man could offer Axel the sort of kindness that he so desperately needed at that moment when he was rescued. It was Doc's gentleness that tended to Axel's wounds, gently coaxed him out of his corner, and showed him tenderness when he needed it. Doc chose to keep Axel, instead of finding him a home, in the end. The two having formed a deep bond that was irreplaceable. Axel, once he had built up his confidence and come to understand that not all humans were bad, was taught how to help Doc in his mission. Doc and Axel work as the perfect team, patrolling the streets when Doc is not working as an EMT. Together the two have rescued many children and animals, Axel taking a great deal of pride in what he does. Though Axel had a rough start in life, he would never change his past, not if it meant that he could not be where he is today.
