Amber is a small viscet who suffers from depression. To express herself, she paints. When she can't think of something to paint, she splatters the canvas and sees what she can come up with. Most of her pieces turn out abstract, but there's always emotion in her work. However, some days she can't be bothered to get out of bed, so she picks up the sketchbook on her nightstand and draws. Those are the days when the music inspires her to make something that isn't abstract, the days she comes up with little ideas that turn into her greatest works in the months ahead.
On her worst days, Amber wastes pages in her sketchbook, just scribbling. She'll then sleep, where her dreams are
happy happier. When she wakes, she writes her dream in another journal. Maybe one day that castle will come alive on a canvas... Or maybe we'll just splatter the canvas in pink today. No matter how late she sleeps in, she forces herself to at least sit up before noon. Amber is an early bird, after all.
Her best days are amazing days. Those are the days that Amber lives for, the days she holds on for. Those are the days when she creates her best work, the days those sketches and ideas become real, magnificent portraits that light up her world and make her feel free again. The day that castle becomes more than splattered paint and chicken scratch on a page. On Amber's best days, the castle is her world and she is the queen. So for now, she has to stay positive. Because things will get better.
