Sawyers - Readoption

I have been away from the community for a long time and with that lost the connection to my lovely Girl Sawyer. So in attempt to find a loveing home for her that will not neglect her like I have done so in the past I am placing her back up for Re-adoption in hopes that she will find a better owner then myself. Though I am not a bad owner to my other three Jdb, I just find connecting with her is a bit more difficult.

So with this I have a few think I would like to stay the same on her, One that she remains Female, and two that her favorite color stays Sea Foam Green. Other then that I will allow everyone that applies almost clean slate to work with so they can show some character development and make her unique and their own.

This will be a some what Impress me contest, you may add what ever your like to the basic form and even take your forum off site if you wish to build a website to showcase your idea's and place for her. Also If you can I would like to see Relationship for her and other things like that along with a good personality and some art! Yes She can Grow into an Adult

Relationships -

Spite (Owned by me):

Spite and Marcella go back to when she was just a toddler. Spite was her babysitter back then, as her parents couldn't be at home as much as they would need to be to properly care for her. At first, Spite was simply doing his job, keeping an eye on her. But after awhile, he began to enjoy her company, even if she was just a toddler. She was a really interesting child to him, often straying from the norms of what a child may want to do. Most kids her age would have wanted to play dress-up, or pretend they're going on some adventure. However, Marcella would rather just sit down and talk about her day. Often this led to her spinning make believe stories, as she would run out of things to say.

The two of them now still do talk, and on occasion Spite will offer to take Marcella somewhere. However, ever since Spite got married, they haven't interacted much. They are able to see each other maybe 4 or 5 times a month, depending on how busy the both of them are. Marcella knows that Spite will always be there for her when she needs him. She sees him almost like a big brother, something that she has always really wanted.



Wild Berry (Owned by me):

Wild Berry is Spite's mate, and an acquaintance of Marcella's. The two don't get the opportunity to talk often, much like her and Spite, but they do consider themselves friends. Marcella sees Wild Berry as being a very kind individual, and respects him for it. However, she can get a little upset with him sometimes. She blows a fuse around him easily, partly because she blames him for the lack of time she is able to spend with Spite. Marcella has gotten over that a bit, though she still finds herself loathing him every now and then. She wouldn't ever want them to break apart, though. She is glad that Spite finally found someone out of his tiny group of friends that he can really connect with.



Maura (Owned by me):

Marcella, like Spite had done for her, babysits Maura when needed. This isn't too often, as only Wild Berry has a job and Spite stays at home, but Marcella enjoys every moment of babysitting. She sees herself in Maura, and strives to encourage her in daily things. They both often work together on art projects, language development, or school work when Maura has it. Marcella especially loves to help her with her language skills and how to pronounce things, because Maura has a hard time with things like that. She was a bit of a late bloomer herself in that department, so she understands Maura's struggles and wants to help her with it.



Thorin (Owned by Vox Nihili)

Marcella considers Thorin one of her closest friends, if not the best one she has. She thoroughly enjoys the puns that he throws into various conversations they have, and even tries to add a few of her own every now and then. Even though She considers him the pun-master, she finds that he is a very good bean to just sit down and have a conversation with. Marcella knows and appreciates the fact that Thorin is really caring about other's feelings. He seems to always be able to cheer her up when she is down, and that's something that she really loves about him. A since of humor is very important to Marcella when she is considering friends, and Thorin sure has a good one.




Base Personality -
Marcella is quite the bold bean, rarely ever censoring herself for the sake of others. She believes that if something needs to be said,
then it will be said, and she'll be the one to say it. She hates situations where people beat around the bush, avoiding directly telling her something. A lot of the time when this happens, she bluntly tells the person to "get on with it," or to "stop wasting time." This trait of her's is either a "love it or hate it" in her book. Some beans hate it because of how rude she can off as, others love it because it means she's being honest.

If you are able to get past how blunt she is, Marcella can be quite the devoted and loving friend. She doesn't believe in leaving her friends hanging, and strives to help them as best she can. She sees friendship as a give and take sort of thing. The effort that the other friend puts in, she mirrors and returns it. If she feels like a friend isn't putting enough effort into a friendship, and that their relationship is fading, she will willing leave them without regrets. Moving on from broken friendships with ease is one of Marcella's most admirable qualities. Many people find it hard to move on, and will spend quite awhile pondering why they are no longer friends. Marcella, however, forces herself to try to understand why things ended up the way they are, and learn from any mistakes made.

Once Marcella has set her sights on something, whether that be a goal or a shirt in a store, she will work tirelessly to get it. Though she may be relentless most of the time, even she can give into temptation or distractions. For example, she may want to make a good grade on a test, so she studies. However, she will take up all her time studying and forget to do the regular classes work. This is a problem that Marcella tends to run into often. She can't get the grasp of prioritizing, and goes all out with just a single thing. She focuses so much effort on one goal and forgets about anything other than said goal.

Child - Present -
Marcella grew up in a very loving home with her parents. Her family wasn't the 'average' family, though. She has two fathers and a mother all taking care of her. This is what she had known from birth, though, so up until grade school she really didn't understand that her family went outside the norms. A lot of beans teased her once they figured out her different family dynamics, and she let them get her down for quite awhile. For several months she ended up shunning one of her fathers, eventually confronting him about it. She believed that he was the odd one out, and that if he left, they could be a 'normal family'. He didn't leave, though, the two of them ended up talking about it and came to terms with each other. She felt really sorry for ignoring him, and began to spend more time with him. After awhile, the two of them were closer then they had ever been before.

Later in her childhood, her family ended up having to move due to their house having major foundation issues. Marcella didn't take this lightly, putting up a fight every moment they were packing. Most children don't want to leave the home they were born in, first homes tend to hold important memories, and Marcella sure was no exception to this. Moving for her meant leaving the friends she had made behind, and that she would have to struggle to make new ones. Once settled in their new home and the school year began, Marcella found that the move hadn't been such a bad thing at all. She was able to make friends easier than she had thought, and the beans at her new school were a lot more accepting of her different family values.

This is the point in her life where her parents had all taken up jobs, and with them not being around very much she required a babysitter. One of her parents had known Spite for awhile, so he was gladly welcomed to take the job. The next few years were spent like your average child's life, go to school, come home, do homework, spend time with friends . . . etc. This is a routine that Marcella really doesn't mind. She's perfectly happy with not much happening with her. She believes that living a simple life leads people to appreciating the larger events that happen to them.

Arts and crafts -
Ever since she was little, she loved doing arts and crafts. The one who had
introduced her to it is Spite, who happens to love origami. They would often
come up with random little art projects they could do, or search for ones on
the internet. One of her favorite things to do is make collages out of her
parent's old magazines or newspapers, and give them to friends or family.

Paintball -
This is a fairly recent hobby for Marcella, as her parents felt that it would be
too dangerous when she was younger. She, however, had always want to play
it ever since she was 9, and was finally able to on her 14th birthday. She finds
that the thrill that paintball offers is incomparable. It's a lot safer that most
other major-thrill games, (assuming that the paintballs are relatively small)
and she loves it for that.

Sketching/Drawing -
Similar to her love for arts and crafts, Marcella also enjoys sketching and
drawing. Sketching for the most part, though, as she finds it really hard to
focus on a whole drawing with color, shading, highlighting. . . etc. Sketching
is a way for her to quickly vent her feelings before they go away. Whenever she
tries to vent with a full drawing, she finds that the meaning behind the drawing
fades as she works on it, (mostly because of how long it takes to complete a full
drawing) as she gets over whatever she had been upset about.

Goals -
One of Marcella's short term goals would be to graduate high school and get her diploma. This is a really simple goal that is shared with a lot of beans her age, but it still means a lot to her. One of her father's never graduated high school, but ended up getting a GED. He knows from experience that a GED gives off a totally different impression to potential employers than a high school diploma does. Marcella is pushed by him a lot to do good in school and to never give up, so it does put a bit of pressure on her. She knows that he means well, though, and appreciates that he cares so much for her.

Another of Marcella's goals is to get a summer job. She is not too sure what she wants to do for a career, but for a summer job she would want to do something outside or with animals. She has always enjoyed playing outside since she was young, and would love to channel that energy into a job. She has considered a few of the generic options, dog walking/sitting, mowing lawns, . . . etc. But she hasn't really come across one that really impressed her. She has considered babysitting as a potential first job, but she isn't very good with younger kids besides Maura. Her babysitting for Spite is just something that she does for a friend, and not really what she considers a 'job'.

First off I'd like to say thank you for reading over my form. ;o; I didn't get as much done as I would have liked to, as some stuff came up in real life, but I hope you enjoyed reading it regardless! I know that I may not seem the most active in the JBD community, but I do love all of my beans dearly. My beans are probably my most developed characters, I just don't often share my ideas and things for them. ;o; I would like to eventually have a website with all my beans info on it, and if I were to win Marcella she would surely have her place there. As for role playing, that is something that I'm more than open to. I love to develop my characters though RPs, I just don't get the chance to often because I have other responsibilities on here and in real life that take up my time. I do draw my beans more than what I post on here, as a lot of my drawings are done on paper or on my phone. ;o;
