Before you read:I wanted to make a character that's rough and realistic. This character is based off of a hard core, rough skater punk with a bad rep and history but is trying to just move on in her life and have fun. All people have a story to tell and they all have flaws, so I just wanted to make them as realistic as possible. I've incorporated some of my own traits, as well as some of the traits I see in other teens when I go to the skate park. I'm really not trying that hard because I feel like if I do, I'll ruin it, so this form will be just information with not much coding to show how this character is laid back and a little lazy.

Background:Mika wasn't always known as a 'bad kid'. In fact, she was always known to be a sweet an loving girl, who always loved to play with dolls and play outside in the nearby forest and come back home with bunches of flowers and covered in mud. She was always the most popular kid on the playground. She was a dream child, but something inside of her snapped when she was about 9 when her father brutally murdered her mother
At the time, Mika didn't understand what was going on, but at the funeral she heard others bad talking her mother and saying that the reason that Mika's father killed her mother is because he was drunk one day and Mika's mother came home really late one day and her father thought that that her mother was cheating on him. On that night, the once sweet girl became a hollow doll of her original self, her face stained with her tears and her mother's blood.
It took years of memory blocking an therapy for her to forget, and just when she started to get better, Mika had been found with a neuroblastoma on her frontal lobe ( the emotion and personality center of the brain), so once again, Mika became a completely different person. (
To help understand more, here's an example of what damage to the frontal lobe can do to a person) This time, she became more of a punk like rebel, wanting to remember her past so it can fuel her for revenge by becoming a successful person and showing her father, her foster parents, an her grandparents just what they have abused and neglected for years so they feel guilt and neglect, all while being her punk self to anger them. She is graduating soon, and she'll be the first of her family, and to her, that feels so good, like she's showing everyone up.
Her future:Mika will grow up to be an extremely successful neurologist who is trying to find a way to help ease those who have PTSD by using the
hypothalamus, and the [url=http://www.pituitary.org.uk/information/what-is-the-pituitary-gland/]pituitary gland[/ur/], all while incorporating the functions of the frontal lobe
She will also become a loving wife and mother, but she still keeps her personality and rocks out with her husband and kid
