A Little About Myself

Hey there!

My name's Arya, and I'm a photographer.
I usually only catch pictures of... hmm odd things if you like.
Like the rain pattering on an old barn, or sunlight streaming on to a rock.

Just because I love to take pictures doesn't mean I'm boring though!
I travel, I adventure... I dream. Yeah.

I love music, and storied, and I guess I like hanging out with friends too.
Sometimes we just sit all around a campfire, it's pretty cool.

Ooh, I may seem really outgoing, but I'm pretty quirky and shy.
But around friends, I guess I'm just myself... which I can't really describe.
I'm also a klutz. I think I've fallen at least once on every staircase I've ever walked, slid,
or jumped down.

Eh, I guess I'm pretty superstitious, but just because I can, because, who doesn't
like the idea of simple things having, 'bad luck.'

I love to prank others, and overall just get the best out of life.
Sorry this is really brief, I gotta go drink some lemonade with friends, I believe there's
even some pumpkin spice cookies!

See ya!~

History-
xxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Childhood (3-8)
Arya grew up with loving parents, who were interested in the stars, and a perfect
example of modern-era nerds.
They often chased her around the house, played and sang with her, and
always, always told stories.

Rarely did she hear the same story told two times, and each story had a new character filled to the brim
with life and love.

This was the time where Arya chased her parents into the rain and they taught her all the bad puns
she knows today.

School Age (8-11)
Uh, no, this is not the time where she just went to school.

Strangely, her parents started becoming more aloof and distant, until suddenly
she came home and they weren't there.

Fearing for them, she cried, but ended finding a note written in code.
She's since folded that note into her satchel, which was her father's for astronomy,
and keeps it close to her.

She left to live with her aunt, to meet some of the strangest friends she's ever met,
and she would never go back to change it.
It's that good kind of weird.

Now (12-Current Age)
Currently, Arya travels across the planet.
She prefers visiting colder regions, and mountains always take her breath away.

She basically follows the stars and wherever her paws lead her, and taking her camera and
satchel along the way with her.

She has a few friends who travel with her, almost like a pack, if you would.

Lastly, Arya is the queen of puns, being taught by the elusive, Fennekin-Paws.
Here are a few examples, which tend to drive her friends nuts and cause them to laugh at the same time;

When approached on a mountain, (as she often volunteers as a guide,) she'll say this randomly.
"Hmm. I never bothered to think about any puns. guess i was just too cool for them, or no one gets them.."

And another example of one of her puns...
"So one of my topics that was bubbling up in my chemistry class was like the elements and such, and originally, I was gonna make some chemistry puns, but Na."
its a chem pun shhhhhh. bubbling cause like. mixing chemicals together. yeee. and Na is sodium dont worry boot my lameness.
Quote, Fennekin.

So... yeah.
Sorry it's not the prettiest, sorry it doesn't have that much art, but I still love this plumerian either way.
Good luck to all!~
    I hope you have a lovely day/night <3

hiya! balto. here, a fellow active/non active (in between) member of the plumerian community! i am the current owner of four plumerians - darwin, tazia, victoria and tasmania, and i would love to try and add this plumie as my fifth. my form this plumie will be mostly from a first-person look and view, as the character themself, and will be mostly writing-dominant.
i know this form is small and super late probably, i tried to do the most i could in between my exams, and either way, i hope you enjoy reading through!

"welcome to the bird sanctuary, young tourist. my name is peyton, and i will be guiding through here today, where you will be able to see unique and rare birds in their natural habitats, acting how they would out in the wild, and where we have the rare chance of observing them."
huh? that's not what you're here for? hmm...too bad. i guess you just want to know about me, right?
well, you already know my name, i'm peyton. twenty-two years of age, so i'm a young adult you could say, and with my own job. i work at this bird sanctuary, and have been since the age of sixteen, taking it on as a full-time career.
as for what i am? my gender? i don't really understand the concept...for i am both, but not bigender. i see the world in both - both female and male. this is difficult to explain, but i am both. again, i cannot explain my situation too well...but i can assure you that i am still a normal being, i have the same heart, the same mind, the same skeleton as all of you, so because i may think differently, i may be both, we are one and the same, no matter how different each individual soul is."

Image
"i have been told to be many things...of course, most of those are from fellow tourists, how their tour went and how well i did, or what i could, perhaps, improve on next time. but the majority of comments i have gotten, have been based on my kindness. they have said that their tour was made great by my understanding, and being able to show them around at their own rate, how they want to be shown. i take this into great pride, as it does make me a better person, but at the same time helps me improve on any bad points that are given to me.
i'm said to be very good with talking around others, crowds, and this does really help bring the tourists in, as they do all want a good reputation guide to take them through. of course, while not all my tours are great, i do my best to make the customer and the birds at ease - that is what i am here for, to make sure we make the experience as good and comfortable as we can for not only the people who come to see the birds, but the birds themselves, as some of them are not very good around strangers. i am a great teacher and tend to teach them as much as i can, answering questions the tourists may have while keeping the same calm and upbeat attitude that makes them want to come back, and that makes them have the best time they can have, hopefully."
"and lastly, from those i work for, i am considered to be a very hard worker, making sure each bird has their needs every day and every night, making sure they are fed correctly and their enclosures clean, i make sure each bird is happy and has their own one-on-one attention that they need, almost like pet birds. i take my time, and with new patients and new birds, i let them learn at their own pace, to trust us again and to help heal them, as happiness and love is the fastest healer, in my book. i help them, teach them how to be a real bird again, as the majority of those given to us are taken out of bad and dangerous situations, but this is where they recover, and i try my best to be part of their recovery."

Image
"life isn't always the best, and everyone does start with their own rough patches in life - i have experienced the same. i grew with a loving family, a mother, a father, and a older brother and sister, twins. i was the youngest and last child for my parents, and in their words, they could've 'never been prouder'. my family lived on the outskirts of the country in south australia, my father was part of the war, along with my older brother, serving their country and making us proud - although that did mean they weren't home for long periods of time."
"my sister traveled the country with her artworks, selling them to make some money for mother and i, as our family was not the richest, while mother stayed at home and cared for me - i was sick as a child, never being away from the hospital for more then three months before having to go back, so the bills and medicine did get expensive...but we did manage, with the help of my sister, and what my father and brother could do, i can admit, even though i was sick, life was good for me. and, of course, it was during those sick years that i did find my passion, the one thing that i guess...i never really got bored of.
animals.
at this point it wasn't just birds - even now it isn't just birds, but it was all types of animals - birds, dogs, cats, kangaroos, marine wildlife, insects, you name it. my first patient was a small dingo pup, who i called lucky...i got him to good help, out of my parents knowing, and was able to release him back into the wild. he had come to me with a bad paw, and abandoned by his parents. of course, i took in more animals after that, caring and cherishing them...and i guess thats what i needed. they kept me on my feet, and whatever my sickness was...it seemed to just go away. my mother was happy, and although she did find out it was because of me taking wild animals in...she didn't yell, she didn't punish me, she was crying from happiness, for her daughter was well, and she allowed me to keep what i was doing...helping others, it kept me up and going, it kept my chest clean and...well, it kept me healthy.
the next visit of my father and brother was bittersweet, they had heard the news, and had tried to get back in joy, it had been a good thing, and i was glad. again, sadly, they could not stay for long, but both of them repeated that they were proud of me, that i should keep doing what i was doing.
the next time they went to fight, they came back scarred. long story short, there was a bomb in which my brother was right on top - luckily, he did not turn out dead, but was wounded, and lost an arm. they sent him and my father back, refusing to let them back, for their own good, as the war there ended. once my brother had arrived, i cared for him like my mother did for me, life was good.
life continued this way until i turned sixteen, where i got the job i had now, although at that point it was only part time. my employer was amazed at how well i seemed to work with these birds, even for the short amount of time i had been there fore. and i was glad, i was doing my family justice, i was keeping them with income, and together, combined now with everyone but my brother working, i was able to get a private education, to catch up on the years i missed, all because we were able to work, and because at the same time, i was able to do what i loved to do, which was care for others.
i have been clear since, and even now i still live with my family, supporting them as best i can, especially my brother. i owe it to them, and i aim to make it up to them, for what they did for me whenever i was sick. even now, i am still continuing my education from a private teacher, and i am nearing the end, having caught up on the essentials, on what i should have to know. so i do have the knowledge, if i ever wanted to move out of home or find another ob with more payment...but i don't think i could. i love it here, and i need to support my family, even if it means taking a job that doesn't pay what most would call the best, every cent, every dollar still counts for the care of my family, of my brother, of these birds and of myself."
