Early life » Born in a war-torn town, Ticia's life was difficult from the start. She was born last in a very rare litter of triplets, all females. She bonded most with her oldest sister, a sweet black, red, and white bean their parents had decided to name Esperanza. Although she was also close to floppy-eared Mariana, Esperanza quickly became her best friend. Although their parents tried, their home life wasn't the best. With the war razing the surrounding area, food was scarce. Their father would spend his days foraging while Vienna stayed home and watched their children. Even if snacks weren't always available to the girls, Leticia, Esperanza, and Mariana had a happy life for a while. A loving mother, doting father, and two fluffy sisters- how could anything get any better than their happy family?

Not much, apparently. Their life was pretty much the same until they turned three years old. By now, they were small children, joyfully exploring their world. Esperanza had taken a love for flowers, Leticia had become enthralled with climbing, and Mariana was turning out to be quite athletic. They quickly tired out their parents with their never-ending energy. However, things were about to take a turn for the worst. With the war moving closer and closer to their home, the triplets' father was drafted. Although this took a great toll on Vienna, the baby beans were too young to understand. All they knew was that, according to Mommy, Daddy probably wasn't going to come home. Eventually, this became too much stress for their mother; she was becoming sickly due to stress, lack of food, and exhaustion.

With her husband's draft and her new illness, Vienna had to make a choice. If she kept her family here, what would happen? A single, sick mother couldn't take care of her three children in this environment. Eventually, she came to a decision- later that night, she would take Leticia, Esperanza, and Mariana and smuggle them away. One of the last remaining neighbors in the town had called in a friend of his who could take the girls. Vienna was told that her name was Alyssa, and that she had a husband and two teenage sons. She still hated that she had to give her darling babies away, but wasn't this better than the alternatives?

In the middle of the night, she gathered her daughters and ushered them out of the door and towards the forest. The trip took hours, all three babies tucked away in mom's pouch had put a massive strain on her. Eventually, they made it- Alyssa waited there, her husband Patrick keeping guard. Vienna halted and allowed her triplets to climb out of her pouch. They huddled against her, hiding from the cold, midnight air. One by one, Vienna said goodbye to each one. Esperanza, clutching her favorite silver rose in her hands, trotted after the other two girls. Leticia hurried alongside Mariana and pressed herself against her sister's side. Alyssa welcomed them with open arms and hurriedly rushed them away. She carried Leticia and Esperanza in her pouch, while Patrick held Mariana on his back.

Eventually, they came to the final leg of the voyage. They only had to cross a shallow stream and they'd be home free. Each baby was deemed fit to swim, the water was only a little above their heads and the current rarely got too strong. Patrick crossed first, then Mariana, then Leticia, followed by Alyssa, and at last, Esperanza. Esperanza swam poorly, going out of her way to keep her precious silver rose above water. As she placed her paws on the shore, something grabbed her. In shock, she snapped open her jaws, nipping at whatever held her down. Sadly, it was too late, by he time Alyssa rushed to the water to help Esperanza, she was already gone.

All that remained was silver rose.

Teenage years » Leticia loves her adoptive family and tries to make them happy to the best of her abilities, and they do the same for her. Dekoda is her favorite sibling, with her dear sister Mariana taking close second. When she can't bear to be around Mariana, who simply brings back too many memories, she tends to follow Dekoda around. After school, she loves hanging around the animal shelter that he volunteers at and has sneaked into his room at night when her frequent bouts of sleep paralysis act up.

A few years after joining the family, Leticia adopted a cat named Neuf. He was a large, brutish tomcat with folded ears and a halftail. He was a steely grey with dusty patches and creamy white on his eyelids, paws, chest, and tail. His eyes were green and his nose was a cute pink. Leticia found him while walking home from school one day. He has been hit by a car, but suffered only a slight limp- over time he proved to be a very durable feline, and most of the family thinks he has bobcat blood somewhere in his heritage. Ticia quickly scooped him up and brought him home, where most of the family helped heal him. Although he's not mean toward anyone in the house, he ignores Patrick for the most part and is often seen at Leticia's side.

Together with Neuf, Mariana, Dekoda, and Deylin, Leticia was finally happy. Although she still misses her birth parents and sweet little Esperanza, she knows there's no going back. Although she didn't have many friends outside of the family, shy as she was, she didn't mind. Her little world was all she needed. At school, she was able to work with others on group projects, but kept to herself when possible. She didn't talk much and often got in fights, as her classmates took to teasing the silent little orphan. Because of this, she became a skilled fighter, and eventually joined the school's wrestling league.

At age fifteen, Leticia was diagnosed with depression and light social anxiety. At this time, she was also beginning to realize that she is bisexual. With all this and no friends for support, the depression took control of her life. There were times when, worried about her weight, she would starve herself.
