What are Wilx?
The Wilx (singular: Wilx) are a vaguely canid species found high up in mountainous areas in the wild. As a result, they have evolved to have several physical adaptations for their climates, including thick fur, large lungs, long flexible bodies and tails, heightened senses and their most noticeable feature, their humanoid front paws for better climbing. Wilx have awful vision though, and depend on the thick patches of whisker-like fur on their cheeks to judge distance. Domesticated Wilx come in a great variety of colors and sizes, and are popular for companionship, hunting, home protection due to their heightened physical senses and strong tendency to bond with their human owners. Wilx are about as intelligent as a well trained border collie, and respond very well to human commands.
Wilx are scavengers, and will eat just about everything that they can get their paws on! Wilx owners should watch out for clams, rhubarb and some apple species, which seem to be very common allergens with Wilx.

The rarity of a Wilx is mainly determined by their pupil shape and genetic traits. Common pupils are round, uncommon cat's eyes and rare are horizontal. A round pupiled wilx may be uncommon based on the severity of their line edits and how common those edits may be.

[Sundi, ever since she was little, loved Smarties. They were just the bomb. She loved that the dry little tablets could turn into a "juicy" taste. Loved that they were pastel colours, and must of all, she loved them because her mother had loved them. On Octobre 31, 2006, her mother past away when Sundi was only eight years old. Now she's 17, looking back at all the Halloweens they'd shared together remembering that every year she'd buy an entire bag of Smarties and share with her. It was anyways a tradition. And Sindi still carries it on.]

[Unsurprisingly, Max's favorite candy is bubblegum. They adore the sugary sweet flavor and the small sugar rush they get each time they finish a piece. Besides the flavor, Max has a much deeper connection to the sweet treat. Ever since they were a child, they've had trouble dealing with stress and stressful situations. To cope, Max turned to the things they had on hand, which happened to be a stash of candies they'd earned and kept. Chewing the sweets both soothed and comforted Max , and bubblegum in particular, being chewy and sweet as it was, kept Max's attention, not to mention that blowing and popping bubbles were an entertaining way to pass the time.]

Using bubblegum as their favorite was to be expected, but, what stood out for me was the idea of them using it as a way to cope. Really liked it!
