( name meaning: ) Chinese name meaning: "like an orchid"
( how she got it: ) Her mother has always had a deep fascination with flowers,
and it only increased with age. Her owner at the time was a garden enthusiast
so she learnt a lot by looking over her owner's shoulder at garden books. When
Ruolan was born, the field had a small patch of beautiful white flowers that
were called orchids and had little freckles of colour reminded her of the
adorable freckles on her new born calf. So that is how Ruolan came to get her
name, after a flower growing in the field she was born in.

( personality: ) Ruolan is a sweet cow. Down to earth, she loves to learn as
much as she can from the world and isn't scared to go outside to do so. However
at times her nervousness can lead to hesitation but there is nothing an encouraging
word can't do. Can be clumsy at times and her dedication to whatever activity,
be it running around in the field or playing with calves means she gets often gets
covered in cuts and bruises but will wave away other's concern with a sweet smile.
Fair minded and very loyal to her friends, Ruolan is more than happy to help others
but can be a bit shier when it comes to talking to bulls for the first time but warms
up and treats them like everyone else. She is hard working but she enjoys the little
things in life, that being how wonderful the weather is that day to following a trail
of ants along the fence. Some other cows who don't know Ruolan that well will
classify her as airy due to her habit of wandering off to find a sweet scent on the
wind but that simply isn't the case. She is patient, kind and tolerant, making the
cow hate it when others get into fights for no reason or over small things that can
be talked over. Ruolan has a good sense of self, but like some can have periods of
worry and self doubt. She doesn't like to be alone a lot, but also doesn't like being
constantly surrounded, either. Overall, she is genuinely caring and loyal and will
drop everything to be with friends.
( some other things: ) Even though most other cows think her freckle markings are
cute, Ruolan is actually very self conscious about her freckles and usually will
blush and stutter if you say anything about, even if you are her best friend.

caffi is a gentle soul. she is kind, and smart, and everybody's favorite cow on the farm. she has this way about her that is just gentle and thoughtful. she seems to connect with other deeply and personally, as if she's actually a human. people who aren't used to this can sometimes be intimidated by the way she acts, but most of the time she's seen as an important part of a big family. she gets along well with other cows, though she can be a bit of a pushover. she's not in the habit of defending herself, and has never been taught to. she can be very forward with humans, but that's only because she's so friendly. she's never nervous to meet new people, or to be introduced to incoming cows. sometimes she can force herself into situations where she's not welcome, but she doesn't do it to try and be intrusive, or to invade other's personal space, she just simply doesn't understand. she hates to be alone and often finds being without her 'herd' of other cows to be stressful. she's most at home in large crowds of other cows or people.

caffi's favorite type of weather is summer weather. she enjoys being hot, and finds it to be more relaxing than the winter when it's bitterly cold. sometimes she thinks fall can be pretty, with all the colored leaves, but she still thinks rich green leaves are better. plus fall is a bit too chilly for her comfort. she doesn't like the spring because of the mud.
